January 2022 GOTM Winners

Continuing last year’s tradition of monthly lawn ornaments, we kicked of the year by officially launching Garden Flamingos! Shortly after, we had a mini ZEE-Dayz to celebrate World Hypnotism Day and have the map all nice and clean for 2022. The next week, we celebrated National Sticker Day by topping up sticker orders with extra free ones, and then celebrated National Hat Day with a full-size ZEE-Dayz for the weekend and NEW MOBs running through early February. Last week, we released the details on the latest Secret ZeeOp, awarded the 2021 Leaderboard Badges, and had a very successful Moving Sale!

We are now happy to announce the winners of the January Gardens of the Month (GOTM)! The badges will be awarded by early February, but we couldn’t wait to share the winners we’ve chosen!

January GOTM

Remember that all winning GOTM organizers and all players who deployed in the winning gardens will be awarded special badges for their contribution to growing the map. This month we’re happy to award the Flamingo @ Den Treek Leusden garden, designed by Wawie, and the Florida Flamingo garden, designed by dt07751 and hunniees, as our winning January GOTM! The gardens appear as follows:

Flamingo @ Den Treek Leusden by Wawie in Leusden, The Netherlands

While the garden is beautiful enough with just Virtual Colors, the addition of Electric Mysteries to spell out the year can make capping this garden a little more interesting with their Charge scatters!

Here’s a note from the player who designed this garden:

I would like to nominate my Flamingo Garden. I created this garden to celebrate that 2022 is the year of the Flamingo. The garden is placed in a beautiful wooded area in the Netherlands. A nice detail is that the bill of the flamingo is directed towards what we call in Dutch “Vogelwater.” The exact English translation of “Vogelwater” is “bird water.” Because there are no flamingos in the wild in the Netherlands, this water will not attract real flamingos. But I know that this flamingo will attract many Virtual Flamingos in the coming year. Special thanks to Nico and Jeen for their help.

This garden immediately caught our eye due to how well-done it was! We love the use of different pink, red, and purple Virtual Colors to give the main body of the flamingo some dimension, and similarly the different yellow, brown and green shades on the beak! Like Wawie wrote, this garden is sure to attract many virtual Flamingos, and many Munzee players as well!

Florida Flamingo by dt07751 and hunniees in Tampa, FL

While we were unfortunately unable to filter out the Flat Matts running through the garden, they do resemble a bokeh effect on the sun’s rays leading directly to the flamingo’s eye.

This garden was submitted 3 years ago, and now it’s finally its time to shine! It’s a square-shaped garden depicting a simple scene — a flamingo standing in a flower-lined pool under the hot sun — but we think it’s a great tribute to the Floridian Munzee community!

All players who deployed in the respective winning gardens will receive the following special badges:

Rules for GOTM nominations:

  1. Garden must feature non-licensed character designs.
  2. The garden must feature a Garden Places Pin.
  3. The garden must be built using a publicly available spreadsheet which we will ask to be locked after being 100% deployed.
  4. We’re asking for ongoing nominations and we will release the winners throughout the year.

Based on your feedback, we’ve created a Google Form where you can submit GOTM nominations — here’s the link: https://forms.gle/SjUQeRxdi5FT81pCA

We’ll still check the iloveyou@munzee.com inbox for stragglers, but please try to send your submissions to this new Google Form instead. Keep in mind that we take all former nominations into consideration for upcoming months. Just be sure your garden follows the nomination rules in order to be considered eligible!

If you need help deploying in a Virtual Garden, you can check out this step-by-step tutorial that will making deploying in a garden easy no matter how long you’ve been playing. To fill in the gardens, make sure to stock up on Virtuals and Color Credits from the Freeze Tag Online Store.

December 2021 GOTM Winners

If you’re a fan of Munzee Gardens, we’d understand if you were starting to get concerned — we had a lot of things going on last week! But that’s precisely why we were saving this announcement for a later slot — we wanted to give our picks the attention they deserve!

But first, let’s quickly review the month, as we usually do: we started off strong with the reveal of our final (for now) Modern Myth, Zeus! Shortly after, Double Point Weekends and Special Themed Scatter Events started as we had announced in an earlier post. The next week was jam-packed with holiday fun as we revealed our first two Christmas MythologiGal skins, Christmas Cracker specials, the new LOC04LMOTIVE Mech, and Christmas Cracker Greeting Cards. The week after that saw another new Mech, the GWRENCH, and another new MythologiGal skin! Most recently, we’ve had some limited-time scatters for the Flat Flashlight, and also our big Boxing Day Sale, which revealed the final MythologiGal skin!

We are now happy to announce the winners of the December Gardens of the Month (GOTM)! The badges will be awarded by early January, but we couldn’t wait to share the winners we’ve chosen!

December GOTM

Remember that all winning GOTM organizers and all players who deployed in the winning gardens will be awarded special badges for their contribution to growing the map. This month we’re happy to award the O’ Christmas Tree garden, designed by markayla, and the Christmas in Ottawa garden, designed by Jeffeth, as our winning December GOTM! The gardens appear as follows:

O’ Christmas Tree by markayla in Marion, IA

The gifts under the tree are made up of Surprise Munzees — a fun choice since Christmas gifts are usually surprises irl!

Here’s a note from the player who designed this garden:

Christmas is my favorite holiday and I love decorating my home for the season. I created this garden to decorate the map for Christmas and spread joy for the holiday.

The star made of Flat Flashlights at the top of the tree definitely grabbed our attention! It reminded us a lot of the capture badge for the Flat Flashlight scatters. Following the path of Electric Mystery tinsel, we paused to look at each of the different ornament pins, which are a mixture of the other Flats, Evolutions, and Jewels.

Christmas in Ottawa by Jeffeth in Ottawa, ON, Canada

This garden looks like a design for a real-life holiday greeting card!

Here’s a note from the player who designed this garden:

It’s November! The month between Halloween and Christmas! But, if you look through the window, you can see Christmas is coming! 🙂

Of course, we couldn’t resist pairing a Christmas Tree-shaped garden with a view from inside a home! As this view is from a distance — reducing the amount of pins making up the tree — we think it was a good choice to stick to just Virtual Forest Green pins. It keeps the shape recognizable at its small size, and anyway, the concept is that we are looking forward to the holidays!

November 2021 GOTM Winners

Can you believe we’re already more than halfway through the month? It feels like we announced October’s GOTM just yesterday! Looking back at the month so far, we started things off by releasing our final set of Baby Animals via the MunzPak, In-App Store, and Redeem Store. A few days later we kicked off our word-y theme for the month with the Tongue Tied MOBs, and followed up the next week with the Flat Typewriter and the Short Story and Song About You Greeting Cards.

Looking forward, we also released a few things in preparation for the holidays next month: Christmas Events, Sir Prize Santa, and more new Greeting Cards!

Perhaps most exciting though, was our most recent update which allows Premium members to blast munzees according to their Filter settings!

We are now happy to announce the winners of the November Gardens of the Month (GOTM)! The badges will be awarded by early December, but we couldn’t wait to share the winners we’ve chosen!

November GOTM

While this month wasn’t RUM-focused, we did have pirates on the brain! Remember that all winning GOTM organizers and all players who deployed in the winning gardens will be awarded special badges for their contribution to growing the map. This month we’re happy to award the Pirates Treasure Map, designed by nyisutter, and the Pirate’s Treasure, designed by gargoyle18, as our winning November GOTM! The gardens appear as follows:

Pirates Treasure Map by nyisutter in St. Charles, MO

For extra incentive, Onyxes were used as the trail to the treasure!

Here’s a note from a player who nominated this garden:

This garden was created to lead players to all the treasure deployed by and for the Pirates clan.

On paper, a rectangular garden composed of mostly Virtual Colors doesn’t sound very exciting, but this garden is a shining example of the contrary! Kudos to the Pirates clan for coming up with a great design that we’d love to visit and cap someday!

Pirate’s Treasure by gargoyle18 in Clarks Summit, PA

The mixture of Jewels and Virtual Colors makes the inside of the chest very eye-catching, capturing the jewel tones we associate with treasure!

Here’s a note from a player who nominated this garden:

There are a couple local players that like the pirate theme. And this garden is like a sister garden to a pirate ship garden nearby. It is also hand cap-able.

Of course, we couldn’t resist pairing the Treasure Map with a Treasure Chest! We first heard about this garden in April 2020, so it’s been considered as a potential winner for a while — we were just waiting for the perfect opportunity!

Remembering Griff Halliwell

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Griff Halliwell just last weekend. In the Munzee community, he was most widely known as the creator of popular Munzee tool http://eeznum.co.uk/

A Brief Munzee Bio

Griff enjoyed playing Munzee with his wife, Lesley. They shared the georiffles account and were even featured as Players of the Week in 2015 — you can check out the blog post HERE to learn more about them.

Aside from regularly capping and deploying munzees and participating in Clan Wars with their Plankers I clanmates, Griff and Lesley have also been a pleasant presence at Munzee Events throughout the years. In fact, they met Rob, our CZeeO, long before officially becoming family this year (if you read the POTW blog post, you’ll discover that they are Lou’s Uncle and Auntie).

The Full Story

Like many of our other players Griff and Lesley began as geocachers, under the name georiffles. Griff introduced the entire family to location based gaming, as noted in their POTW blog. Over the past 6 years since that blog he has continued to build out his website full of tools. The Munzee team will work to keep Griff’s Eeznum website running since it is a popular tool amongst the community. Griff always enjoyed testing his coding and learning new skills by finding ways to give players tools to track their own stats. He was one of the first 3rd party developers to build tools for players to use. He focused on giving unique user based stats, like how many of your own bouncers you had capped. He built maps with information to show all of the unique one of a kind munzees so players could find them easily and plan trips to cap them, or just monitor them from home for fun. The most recent, and fun, was for the Golden Tickets.

Griff’s daily routine included checking his treehouse and Skyland for bouncers, searching the area for others and monitoring for any new gamepieces launched by the team. He was always quick to implement new features and tools on his website. He worked well with Sam, the creator of Cuppazee, who will be helping the team with the Eeznum website and possibly incorporating some of his tools.

Outside Munzee Griff was an avid wind surfer and enjoyed spending as much time as possible on the water. He was a gamer at heart from the earliest gaming systems through to the most current. Over the last 3 years he spent countless hours on Fortnite playing solo, or online in squads with Rob, and Louise’s two boys Charlie and Harry. He was recently getting into making YouTube videos of those matches and documenting his Fortnite highlights.

Memorial Garden

Griff will be missed by his family, his friends, the Munzee team and community. The team is building a memorial garden but the location hasn’t been chosen yet. We hope you’ll check back next week to deploy a munzee in his memory.

Update November 24th the garden is ready, click here for the spreadsheet. Thanks to Dale from Space Coast Geo Store for the help building it.

Food for Thought

This may not specifically apply to Griff’s shared georiffles account because Lesley continues to play and we hope she will. His passing has reminded us of some feedback we’ve received from players over time. Specifically requesting a change to Inactive accounts to those that own bouncers: you may recall that when a player is Inactive, at certain times throughout the year their bouncers will return as RetireMyths, Zombie Pouch Creatures, and Phantom Flats. Instead of those undead-inspired bouncers, it was suggested that the bouncers return as angel versions of themselves. We thought this would be a good starting point for a new type of account status — rather than getting rid of the current way Inactive accounts work, as accounts can become Inactive for a variety of reasons — we can create a “Memorial” status or something like it. We are currently in the brainstorming phase for this feature, but we’ll definitely announce any updates when ready.

He also mentioned in his POTW post a wishlist item of a special pin for those players who reached 1 million points. It’s been a long time since that was considered so it’s back on the table for conversation.

We think Griff would be happy that his work will continue on, and his ideas and life will inspire future growth in the game he loved so much. Our sincere condolences to Lesley, and to Griff’s family and friends. May he rest in peace.

October 2021 GOTM Winners

For October, we wanted to do more than just spooky themed bouncers. As restrictions still vary around the world, we wanted to create a safe trick-or-treating experience with Candy Corn Credits. Instead of going door-to-door, you collect them by going munzee-to-munzee! And, even better — you can trade them in for rewards you choose, so you can truly play your way this month! Some of the new Halloween Greeting Cards we released at the start of the month are obtainable by redeeming CCC.

Of course, we did release some spooky themed bouncers the next week — the Pro-fright-ionals! We also tried something new by releasing new Halloween-themed skins for Myths: the first was the Candy Corn Unicorn, the second was the Candy Corn Leprechaun (“Leprecorn”) — more may be coming soon! Just this week, we released an update to Hotels which should make it easier to earn CCC from them as well.

Lastly, we highlighted Pouch Creatures this month with the release of 3 new Mitmegu Evolutions, the first new non-Funfinity Stone creature in over a year — Koobas — and a ZEE-Dayz weekend that awarded double points on them and Greeting Cards!

We are now happy to announce the winners of the October Gardens of the Month (GOTM)! The badges will be awarded by early November, but we couldn’t wait to share the winners we’ve chosen!

October GOTM

The gardens we chose reflect the festive mood we’re feeling — we know y’all are feeling it too, as the Calendar is packed with events every weekend! In fact, one of these gardens was made specifically for an October event. Remember that all winning GOTM organizers and all players who deployed in the winning gardens will be awarded special badges for their contribution to growing the map. This month we’re happy to award the Witchy Pumpkin Garden, designed by MrsHB31 and markcase, and the Black Moth ? Squad Garden, designed by Rikitan, as our winning October GOTM! The gardens appear as follows:

Witchy Pumpkin by MrsHB31 and markcase, in Kernersville, NC

Wouldn’t this design make a fun Halloween-themed emoji?

Here’s a note from a player who nominated this garden:

This was set up for the October 9 Halloween event and filled nicely.

A simple and cute design in the colors we’ve come to associate with Halloween! We also appreciate the use of the new Void Mysteries as the purple band around the hat, which adds variety and will certainly attract nearby players who haven’t had the chance to cap any yet!

Black Moth ? Squad by Rikitan in Bratislava, Slovakia

This beautiful bug is made up of all the virtual Jewels, except Emeralds as those are only deployable in designated Emerald gardens. We think the Night Vision Goggles make even better eyes than Emeralds!

Here’s a note from a player who designed this garden:

Garden is dedicated to local players in Bratislava, who often go out to streets after dusk, chasing specials and bouncers.
Night-time munzeeing is much easier in the city, thanks to quiet traffic compared to rush hours.
Garden was created during 2nd wave of COVID-19 pandemic, when we’ve been locked at our homes after dark by government restrictions.

We thought this jeweled moth was the perfect partner to the Witchy Pumpkin due to its similar color scheme! Also, “Black Moth ? Squad” just has a really cool ring to it — sounds like a special branch of ZeeOps agents!

Keep in mind that we take all former nominations into consideration for upcoming months. Just be sure your garden follows the nomination rules in order to be considered eligible!

September 22, 2021

September 2021 GOTM Winners

September has turned out to be a gaming-themed month, but very different from our previous iterations. Instead, we kicked the month off with the new Chess Set game pieces! Each week, we’ve been sending out prizes to the first to cap the winning numbers in the LotterZEE, and also doing random Prize Drawings! And just this past Sunday, we wrapped up our week-long Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-themed ZEE-Dayz — we’re curious to find out which users are the lucky recipients of the Golden Ticket Munzee!

In other news, we also pushed out an app update which brought Premium Memberships to the In-App Store, released a new Elemental, announced Halloween Event Packages, and finally, dropped a new Secret ZeeOps. The month’s not over yet though, so be sure to keep an eye out for everything else we have planned!

We are now happy to announce the winners of the September Gardens of the Month (GOTM)! The badges will be awarded by early October, but we couldn’t wait to share the winners we’ve chosen!

September GOTM

Last month we had a science-y theme going on — the gardens we’ve chosen this month, while not easily conforming to a theme, are both very meaningful to us in different ways. Remember that all winning GOTM organizers and all players who deployed in the winning gardens will be awarded special badges for their contribution to growing the map. This month we’re happy to award the Torii Gate Garden, designed by Kobeses, and the EyUpMeDuck Garden, designed by BenandJules, as our winning September GOTM! The gardens appear as follows:

Torii Gate by Kobeses in Akashi, Hyogo, Japan

While this garden could have simply used Red and Black Virtual Colors, we love the detail added with the lighter red and orange shades. The Elementals and Crossbows also add nice contrasting pops of color!

Here’s a note from a player who nominated this garden:

This was the first domestically designed and produced garden in Japan to my knowledge. It is of a Torii – a gate found in front of Shrines here in Japan. It is symbolic of the country and the growing base of players here.

As listeners of the Munzee Maniacs Podcast, we’re excited to hear that the game is growing in Japan — more munzees for host peejay and occasional guest Kobeses (the designer of the garden, if you didn’t catch it earlier) to cap, and more friends to play with! We would also like to wish Kobeses a belated “Happy Birthday”!

We’ve always wanted to grow the game in Japan as we believe Munzee is a great fit for the lifestyle there — “tech-savvy” and “active” are two words that immediately come to mind. Our team member, Mari, also has a personal connection to the country, so including part of her culture has definitely been another motivator! We have released a few Japan-inspired specials in the past, such as the Origami and Sushi specials, but now that the game is taking root there, we’re definitely going to take a deeper dive in the future!

EyUpMeDuck Garden by BenandJules in Beeston, Nottungham, UK

A beautiful memorial to EyUpMeDuck — even if you don’t know her personally, the design hints at a bright and fun personality. We’re sure it will catch the eye of players when they’re in the area and they’ll be able to learn more about her.

Here’s a note from a player who designed this garden:

I was asked by Ady725 to create a special garden for his Wife EyUpMeDuck who is battling cancer. I was honored to be asked and created the garden I am nominating, I am not sure if it is allowed to nominate your own garden (Editor’s Note: it is definitely allowed!)… The garden has been very popular and has filled very quickly.

We could not help but be moved by the story behind this garden — with all the attention COVID-19 has taken the past year-and-a-half, it’s important to remember it’s not the only disease being battled. Our thoughts are with EyUpMeDuck and Ady725.

August 23, 2021

August 2021 GOTM Winners

August is typically a slower month for us, as we’re coming off of a very busy birthday month and are usually heads-down planning for all the usual stuff, plus MHQ Bash. However, as you know, this year instead of celebrating MHQ Bash as we usually do, we are postponing it to next year (fingers crossed), so we are hoping to keep the excitement and anticipation building with the Time Capzule, which was released earlier in the month.

Then we had a fun couple of Flat-filled weeks with Flat Disc Golf Scatters and Flat Day the 13th Part 4, which brought some new Greeting Cards to go along with it!

Most recently, we’ve had a week of Reseller ZEE-Dayz, put the finishing touches on the Shield, and unleashed the Bow Tie specials! The month isn’t over yet, so who knows what else we have planned?

We are now happy to announce the winners of the August Gardens of the Month (GOTM)! The badges will be awarded by early September, but we couldn’t wait to share the winners we’ve chosen!

August GOTM

Our picks for this month may have been influenced by back-to-school time, since they are definitely linked to the sciences! Remember that all winning GOTM organizers and all players who deployed in the winning gardens will be awarded special badges for their contribution to growing the map. This month we’re happy to award the Charles Darwin Garden, designed by paupau and the Cape Canaveral Hummingbird Garden, designed by SpaceCoastGeoStore as our winning August GOTM! The gardens appear as follows:

Charles Darwin Garden by paupau in Bielefeld, Germany

While the colors of this garden are quite muted — almost blending in with the map and app UI — the well-executed variations in color give it a polished look!

We were seriously impressed by this portrait-style garden! A lot of thought was put into its planning — its spreadsheet encourages players to deploy Evolutions in the area south of the garden, and it is fittingly located near Bielefeld University.

Cape Canaveral Hummingbird by SpaceCoastGeoStore in Cape Canaveral, FL

This garden’s lovely colors were achieved with a unique combination of Munzee types — Jellyfishes, Electric Mysteries, Virtual Clovers, Virtual Resellers, Citrines, Onyxes, Surprises, and of course, Virtual Colors!

Here’s a note from a player who nominated this garden:

I think the design is straightforward, but the use of the various contrasting types of Munzees really make it pop. It goes to show you that you don’t need a 1,000 pin behemoth to have an effective garden.

We also enjoy that it makes use of Jellyfish Evolutions, which make it the perfect mate to the Charles Darwin garden!

More Awards to Come!

Don’t think these are the only awards we’ll be handing out! We have 3 more awards currently planned, which we’d like you to vote on.

  • Miss ConZEEniality
    • Voted as one of the Most Pleasant Players by your peers during the 10th Munzee Birthday Celebrations.
  • MZeeP
    • Voted as one of the Most Valuable Players by your peers during the 10th Munzee Birthday Celebrations.
  • Best Dressed
    • Voted as one of the Best Dressed by your peers during the 10th Munzee Birthday Celebrations.

Head to the Google Form HERE! Unlike our other nomination Google Forms, this should be limited to one submission per person. We’ll keep the form open at least until the end of Birthday Events, which means some time during our workday on September 8th.

We are also brainstorming more fun and interesting honors to bestow in the 10 months following our 10th birthday — in particular, ones that feature newer players, as more established players have certainly had an advantage in the awards we’ve come up with so far.

It’s hard to predict what the criteria will be, so just keep playing your way and

Munzee Toolkit MunzDay: LindaH417

One of the best parts about Munzee is that you can play how you want. Everyone goes about playing a bit differently, and that leads to some very creative and innovative uses of objects. From containers to bags to maintenance, we always encounter something new when we meet players. We want to showcase your Munzee Toolkits to see how you play the game and possibly even inspire other players who may need help!

The week’s featured Munzee Toolkit comes to us from LindaH417, who hails from Aurora, IL. She started playing Munzee over 3 years ago, but it feels like she’s been playing for much longer — we always see her participating in our Eventzee hunts and other virtual activities! Read on to discover her essentials!

LindaH417 Toolkit

My Father brought me into munzee in March 2018 and I fell in love with the game immediately.

No matter where I go, my munzee kit comes with me. I have 2 different shoulder bags that I use and both have many pockets and quite a bit of room, just depends on if I’m out and about, or going to a munzee event.

My Kit consists of:

  • 5 containers of different munzees
  • 1 brand new container with munzees that I will give out to someone I meet if they are really interested in the game
  • I have wipes, hand sanitizer, and a munzee mask if needed
  • Scissors and a flash light
    • I carry scissors because in one case I have quite a few rows of greenies. The flashlight comes in handy if it’s dark and I shine it on the munzee and cap.
  • My Personals and my munzee name tag and a screen cloth
  • Also my iPod Touch, comes in handy if I can’t reach a munzee, I’ll take a picture and cap it that way
  • I also have a mirror and a small ice scraper.
    • The mirror comes in handy when munzees are place in odd areas and the phone won’t fit. The small scraper works perfect in winter when you need to scrape ice off a munzee to cap.

I love to travel to areas to cap, and deploy, McKinney Texas, Minneapolis and Florida are on my Bucket list.

I’m known to cap something no matter what, I’ve crawled under sun dials in the snow, I climbed a 5 foot snow bank, as I was capping the munzee the snow underneath me started to give so I jumped and rolled down to the bottom ?
If I see a special nearby at 1 in the morning, I grab my keys and in my pjs out I go!!

I love the game!!! ?

July 2021 GOTM Winners

This month has definitely been one to celebrate as we kicked things off with the 10th Birthday Mailbox! Shortly after, we got the final race results of the #WorldBicycleDay specials — which eerily coincided with real-life Lou and other Internationelles‘ sweet success! As the 10th Birthday Mailbox goodies were revealed, we were happy to find that the MechaniC4K3 was a welcome surprise! Those that aren’t Tier 3 10th Birthday Mailbox members got their chance at the Blueprints for it a little over a week later. There are still more goodies to be given out, so we hope you look forward to seeing what you get!

In other news, we also released some very popular Go Fishing specials — many of you look forward to seeing the new types released each week — and a new Secret ZeeOp called Operation: QRypt Capper, which is currently the only way to get your hands on S4RCOPH4GUS Blueprints!

We are now happy to announce the winners of the July Gardens of the Month (GOTM)! The badges will be awarded in early August, but we couldn’t wait to share the winners we’ve chosen!

July GOTM

As it’s our birthday month, we decided to choose 3 gardens to feature! The first has come close to winning GOTM in earlier months, but we decided to save it for this month. The second is perfect to commemorate an exciting event that happened recently. Last but not least, the third garden has a very fun design which reminded us of all the different goodies in our 10th Birthday Mailbox. Remember that all winning GOTM organizers and all players who deployed in the winning gardens will be awarded special badges for their contribution to growing the map. This month we’re happy to award the Trpaslík :: Gnomie Vrútky Garden, designed by kepke3 and Mon4ikaCriss, the Rob Hearts Lou Garden, designed by Buckeyecacher111 and the Munzball Machine Garden, designed by Jeffeth as our winning July GOTM! The gardens appear as follows:

Trpaslík :: Gnomie Vrútky by kepke3 and Mon4ikaCriss in Vrútky, Slovakia

Here’s a note from the player who nominated this garden:

Garden was designed by Andrej and Monika (kepke3 and Mon4ikaCriss), inspired by 2021 Munzee theme – catching cute gnomies around the world, all year round. Easter Egg fact – Gnomie from Vrutky is created mostly by virtual Evolution Munzees to highlight constant, monthly evolution of bouncing gnomies to many different skins.

Rob Hearts Lou by Buckeyecacher111 in Greenville, OH

Here are Buckeyecacher111’s notes on the garden’s design:

I made this garden as my first design […] This garden was originally a Green Heart, but was expanded after Rob proposed to Lou 🙂

Munzball Machine by Jeffeth in Ontario, Canada

Here’s a note from a player who nominated this garden:

Hello I would like to nominate The Munzball Machine by Jeffeth. The Garden he created somehow mastered design and utility I absolutely love it! […] Fun and useful to the area for an interesting blend of items to cap!

And Jeffeth’s own note on the design:

It’s a really cool way to highlight the huge variety of munzees available, especially for new players. And its my personal favorite garden I’ve made. 🙂

Munzee on!

P.S. Are you looking for POTM requirements? Remember that last year, we announced that we were holding off on POTM for now as we develop a new way to highlight our unique player base!
