You’ll need some caffeine to keep your wits about you, as tomorrow is Flat Day the 13th! Be on the lookout for returning Flat Cup Scatters to celebrate CuppaZee creator Sam for International Programmers Day! Starting NOW until Sunday, September 15, 2024 at 23:59 MHQ, Flat Cups will temporarily scatter 1-3 Cups of Coffee!

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Thursday, September 12 at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, September 15th at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture Flat Cups, up to 3 Coffee Cups may be scattered nearby!

The Coffee Cup Flat scatters will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat Cup owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers/Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These Virtual scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for the Coffee Cups are as follows:

  • Capture: 50 points
  • CapOn: 25 points

Last month’s Elemental Community Challenge officially ended on Sunday, so after catching up from our long Labor Day weekend, we are finally ready to reveal the rewards! We’ve also put the spotlight on the top finishers for each element — make sure to read all the way until the end!

⚡🔥 SHOCKING Results To The Elemental Community Challenge! 🌊🌪️

Last month’s Elemental Community Challenge has come to an end and you all banded together to conquer the goal with ease! The Munzee Community has successfully reached the 50,000,000 point goal and as promised a new Elemental Mech has been released!

Remember, the latest in the new line of Mechz was based on the Elemental Mystery that earned the most points during the challenge and we weren’t exactly SHOCKED to see it was the Electric Mystery! So joining the FR0ST Guardian Mech is the ALL NEW J0LT Guardian Mech, which has been deployed on each qualifying player’s account. Please note that we’re still tallying up the individual community challenge winners, so we’ll have more info on those awards soon!

Elemental Community Challenge Rewards!

Congratulations again on reaching the overall goal! As promised, everyone who earned one of the two Elemental Community Challenge participation badges will receive a NEW Elemental Mystery Mech — since the Electric Mystery earned the most points in the challenge by far, you’ve summoned the NEW J0LT Guardian! Landing Pads

This electrically-charged golem can be spotted on the landing pads listed above every 6 hours or when captured.

J0LT Guardian will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture J0LT Guardian on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same J0LT Guardian visits you. J0LT Guardian is non-blastable. It will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access J0LT Guardian by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When J0LT Guardian is captured, it will scatter up to 3 J0LT Prods on the Mech owner’s account.

This month, you’ll receive the Raidho and Kaunaz Runes. Raidho symbolizes the journey of life and encourages you to align your inner and outer worlds for smooth progress on your path. Kaunaz, representing illumination, invites you to bring clarity and creativity into your life by revealing hidden truths. Together, these runes offer guidance for purposeful growth and transformation.

New Scatters

A new set of Relics will also now join the pool of artifacts that will scatter from Norse Zodiacs! Remember, whenever a Norse Zodiac is captured, 1-3 fresh Norse Relics are unearthed nearby. With a total of 12 relics planned for release, the three below mark the launch of nine intriguing artifacts so far!

The Norse Relics will be visible to ALL players, not just the player who capped the Norse Relic, and will be deployed on the Norse Zodiac owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers, there are CapOn points for the owner! These Norse Relic scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.
