This month, the theme was “Friendship & Community“, and you all showed just how much heart the Munzee community has! Inspired by National Friendship Day and Family Fun Month, August’s gardens celebrated the friendships, connections, and familiar faces that make playing Munzee even more fun.

Without further ado, let’s celebrate the winners for August:
🤝 Friendship/Amitié designed by Grosseface11 in Lajemmerais, Quebec, CA
What better way to represent Friendship & Community than with two hands coming together — and forming a heart at the same time! This incredibly clever design turns a classic symbol of friendship and connection into a heart, perfectly capturing both sides of August’s theme. Even better, the entire garden was created using pins that Munzee players received for free just by playing the game! We love how the contrasting pins define the clasped hands while still allowing the larger heart shape to shine through. It’s a creative celebration of friendship, teamwork, and the Munzee community all rolled into one!
- This garden does not have a Garden Badge just yet, but any player can sponsor one for 750 Zeds! Once sponsored, players who capture every Munzee in the garden will be able to earn a badge commemorating their achievement and preserve the garden design in their collection.

Talk about getting the whole gang together! This colorful garden brings a collection of familiar Flat Friends together in one place, making it a perfect fit for August’s Friendship & Community theme. From Flat Rob and Flat Matt to the many other Flat faces you’ve met over the years, the pins form one giant group that celebrates the team — and community — that have become part of Munzee history. One big Flat Friends reunion on the map!
- This garden does not have a Garden Badge just yet either! Any player can sponsor one for 750 Zeds, giving future players an extra reward for capturing the entire garden while preserving this Flat-tastic gathering as a badge in their collection.

Think books, gears, tools, or worker icons. Highlight both the hard work and the knowledge that keeps the world moving.
🎃 October 2026 GOTM Theme – “Spooky & Creative“
Inspired by Halloween (Oct 31) and National Arts & Humanities Month.
Pumpkins, ghosts, skeletons, or paintbrushes dipped in eerie colors. Anything that blends imagination with spooky flair!
🦃 November 2026 GOTM Theme – “Gratitude & Giving“
Inspired by Thanksgiving (Nov 26) and National Philanthropy Day (Nov 15).
Think cornucopias, turkeys, helping hands, or food drives. Celebrate generosity, thankfulness, and giving back.
❄️ December 2026 GOTM Theme – “Joy & Traditions“
Inspired by National Cookie Day (Dec 4) and the holiday season.
Cookies, ornaments, snowflakes, candles, or wrapped gifts. Anything that brings cheer and captures holiday traditions around the world.
