✨ NEW Storybook Evolution! 📖

Prepare for a journey of literary love!  We’ve been having lots of fun creating the wackier Animal and Farm Set Evolution Bouncers the past few years — for example, the Spaghetti Evolution which was suggested to us by players! This time though, we’ve decided to finally give the Education Set some love with its FIRST Evolution Bouncer!

The Storybook Evolution explores the writing process from the first blank page, to the magic filled tomes that bring to life a trio of enchanted stories! This Evolution Bouncer will be similar to the last Sea Monster Evolution that was released, and you can get yours at your local library AKA the Freeze Tag Online Store HERE!

Workin’ 9 to 5… and giving back! 📚✨

Today is September 25th AKA 9/25, which also happens to be Dolly Day—a fitting nod to Dolly Parton’s iconic “9 to 5” song. We’re celebrating by putting in a little overtime at the library! Alongside the launch of our Storybook Evolution, and in remembrance of the Book Lady’s life, we’re donating $925 to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a program that provides free, high-quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth to age five, helping foster a lifelong love of reading.

Our donation will go to the McKinney, TX branch of the organization, giving a little love to MHQ past and present. To date more than 3 million books are gifted to children worldwide each month, so every bit helps!

The timer will clear, however, once you capture the Bouncer Destination, or 1 hour after the magnet was applied as usual. Apologies for any confusion this may cause — the team is currently looking into it. Oops, don’t mind this note — there was some confusion over whether a magnet remains after the Bouncer Destination is filled up or not. It does! That way, you can attract 7 bouncers consistently, even though the Bouncer Destination is partially filled when you magnetize it.

AHOY! Talk Like A Pirate Day is fast approaching, and ye’ve set sail across the bounds of time and space! No it may not be a leap year, but we’re turning back the clock to bring back our Leap Day FlashMOBs from 2024. But the sun has set, and the ships sail across dark tides, so these leaping pirates might look a tad different from a couple years ago.

The bounty battling Night PiRibbit and Night Pogo Pirate are sporting new looks and new landing pads, so read on to learn more!

If you’ve captured all the munzees near you, you’ll be happy to discover that your map has been plundered with these returning mateys of mayhem! These FlashMOBs work just like they did for Leap Day 2024, but with a twist! The Night PiRibbit will leap to select virtual types and the Night Pogo Pirate will mask certain physical types. What we mean by “mask” is that they appear on top of a host munzee, similar to a bouncing munzee, but once capped, they do NOT bounce anywhere else. You have “removed” the mask. Stock up on the landing pads and once you deploy them nearby they should receive the leaping pirates.

September 2026 Badges

Your Guild can earn monthly badges by reaching certain levels in Gauntlet Games. But remember, you only get a badge (and rewards) if the whole guild reaches that level. In September, there are six badges up for grabs, and with each progressing badge you’ll earn an emblem showing how far you made it through that month’s Gauntlet! Here’s a sneak peek at the Level 5 badge:

*The Baby Penguin tPOB will be available to claim as a special trade in the Premium section of the redeem store beginning September 3rd. Cost will be 0 zeds (that’s right, ZERO zeds). The Baby Penguin will be auto-deployed on your account when redeemed.

Don’t let that elegant stance fool you, a majestic new Gargoyle is ready to make its debut! Hailing from the Japan, the NEW Crane-Goyle can be yours by keeping up your capture streak throughout September!

If you complete your August capture streak, you’ll receive the Fox-Goyle Skin (and corresponding badge) in early September. Read on to learn more about this clever new addition to the Gargoyle family!

If you haven’t picked up a base Gargoyle yet, they are available in the Freeze Tag Store for $5.

As a reminder, this is how to have a permanent Gargoyle on your account next year:

  • Own at least 8 Gargoyles by the end of the year.
    • Each month, the price of a Gargoyle will decrease by $1.
    • However, players can only purchase 1 Gargoyle every 28 days.

As stated earlier, you’ll need to complete next month’s (September’s) capture streak to earn this skin. You can find this striking statue at the following landing pads every 6 hours or when captured:

Remember, instead of scatters, Gargoyles introduce a new dual-ownership mechanic which will benefit both deployers and cappers!

  • After 4 captures, the Stone Gargoyle will turn into a Cracking Gargoyle
  • After 1 more capture, the Cracking Gargoyle will turn into a Freed Gargoyle, which is owned by both the deployer AND capper! This means both players will earn CapOn points!
    • NOTE: Only the Main Gargoyle Owner will get credit for the deploy. The Temporary Co-Owner will not see a deploy on their side, but instead will see earned CapOn points whenever the co-owned bouncer is captured.
  • After 5 captures, the Freed Gargoyle will turn back into a Stone Gargoyle

  • Unique type deploy badges — you’ll need to earn each month’s skin by keeping your streak up!
  • Unique type capture badges — capture at least 1 of each skinned Gargoyle!

🕵️ Secret ZeeOps – Sweet Tooth Trail (August 2026) 🍦

Can you make it across the Sweet Tooth Trail in an operation as sugary as it is suspenseful?! An ALL NEW Secret ZeeOps is now available in the ZeeOps Hub for the usual cost of 1,500 Zeds!

Agent, strange reports have emerged of a newly discovered dimension made entirely of sweet treats! Join Cappy the Unicorn as you venture into this sugary world, stroll across the Lollipop Fields, crawl through the Crystal Candy Mines, sail across Molten Chocolate Lava River, and summit the towering Ice Pop Peak!

Completing a series of missions will unlock new levels in this operation. There are four levels, each with four missions. If you conquer every mission in Operation: Sweet Tooth Trail, you’ll earn a cool new badge, the NEW SUND43 S3RP3NT Mech (info below), and more exciting rewards listed in the app!

This mech will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture this mech on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same mech visits you. This mech is non-blastable. It will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access this mech by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When SUND43 S3RP3NT Mech is captured, it will scatter up to 3 DR4G0N Scale Scoops on the Mech owner’s account.

For 2027, we’ve mostly moved away from seasonal and holiday-focused themes in favor of ideas that can inspire amazing gardens any time of year — giving you more flexibility to create whenever inspiration strikes!

Something powerful has been stirring among the Elemental Mysteries… Over the past few weeks, players may have noticed colossal new creatures forming across the map. These mysterious monsters creeped in silently beneath the shadows of the Epic Eclipse, leaving adventurous players to uncover their arrival and discover what could draw them into the world! We’re now excited to officially announce the release of the Elemental Titans!

Have you already discovered a Titan lurking on the map, or will you be the next player to summon one? Read on to learn how to unveil and add these powerful new creatures to your finds!

Elemental Titans

Each Elemental Mystery is connected to its own matching Elemental Titan! By deploying or capturing Elemental Mysteries, players now have the chance to discover one of these new Titans directly to that location. That means every encounter with an Elemental Mystery could awaken something much bigger!
