When these Widdlz are captured, it will scatter a Well Wisp nearby to start a trail. These are the same Well Wisps from the Daily Stroll, which will be deployed on the Wishmaster account.

Meet Sir VeiLance & Unlock the Mighty MaiTRON! 🤖👀

The sirs are assembling for one final mission! Since the debut of the pun-powered Dads of Sirwood Forest, these mechanical medieval fathers have battled their way through computer crashes, pottery mishaps, burnt BBQs, and disastrous golf swings. Now the final member of the crew has arrived to keep watch over the neighborhood — introducing the all-seeing defender, Sir VeilLance! Armed with his trusty Lance-A-Lot scatters and always keeping one camera eye open for intruders, this home defense prepper dad is ready to secure Sirwood Forest… assuming he doesn’t accidentally fall asleep during his stakeout first.

But the dads aren’t the only ones getting the spotlight this time around! Players who deploy all 5 Dads of Sirwood Forest Mechz will unlock a special reward: the mighty MaiTRON! Built from the combined powers of Sir CutTree, Sir Ramic, Sir Loin, Sir Tan, and Sir VeiLance, this mega mech proves what everyone already suspected — it apparently takes the power of FIVE dads to equal ONE mom. From multitasking meltdowns to managing chaos on all fronts, the MaiTRON is ready to hold the entire household together… even if her circuits are a little overworked.

Please note: deploying all of the Dads of Sirwood Forest Mechz will only deploy the MaiTRON on your account once, which will give you the Blueprint badge. If you would like to deploy more MaiTRONs after that, you’ll need to do it via the Redeem Store.

Like the other Munzee Mechz, the MaiTRON is a temporary POB that will remain on the map until it has been captured 10 times.

Some Munzees have been waiting a long time for their next capture… but now, tracking down those forgotten pins is about to become even more exciting! Whether you’re road-tripping through old trails, exploring hidden corners of the map, or rediscovering neglected local spots, there are now even more ways to spot dormant Munzees that are ready for a comeback.

We’re excited to announce an expansion to the QRewzee system! These colorful indicators have helped ZeeQRew and QRew members identify Munzees that haven’t seen activity in a while — and now the longer a Munzee sits uncaptured, the more rewarding it becomes to revive it!

Not only will you see new QRewzee variations appear on the map, but you’ll also earn increased rewards for bringing these forgotten Munzees back to life. Time to dust off those old deploys and help keep the map active and thriving!

🔥 New QRewzee Variations Have Arrived!

Until now, Munzees that hadn’t been captured in over 1 year would appear with the familiar Orange QRewzee icon. That original version is still sticking around — now updated with a “1” at the bottom of the pin so you can quickly identify its inactivity tier.

But forgotten Munzees that have gone even longer without a capture will now stand out even more! New Neon Green QRewzee and Neon Pink QRewzee variations have been added for Munzees left untouched for 2 years and 3+ years, with each tier offering even bigger Capture and CapOn rewards for players who help bring them back to life.

This year for M8 day, SMS and Rob are finally calling a truce and burying the hatchet after last year’s battle! The rivalry may be cooling down, but the adventure is just heating up—so grab your gear and get ready to join the fun Down Under!

From NOW through May 10th, Flat Aussie and Flat Rob will be scattering their usual Aussie artifacts and hats when captured. Will you be able to track them down, collect the full set, and earn a special badge for this event?!

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Thursday, May 7th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, May 10th at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Aussie, up to 3 different Aussie Artifacts may be scattered nearby! Similarly, when you capture a Flat Rob, up to 3 different Hats may be scattered nearby!

As with other Flat Scatters, the Aussie Artifacts and Hats will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers / Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! ⚔️ Gauntlet Weapon Deploy Event 🛡️

The Gauntlet Games have begun! We’ve seen the excitement around the new Forged Gauntlet Weapons, and we know a lot of you are ready to put them to the test! Since they’ve only been available as Gauntlet Games (formerly known as “Clan Wars”) rewards, newer players — or anyone who hasn’t jumped into the Gauntlet yet — haven’t had many chances to get their hands on them.

If you’re excited for this new take on team play, show your enthusiasm with the Gauntlet Games Universal! Lumberjack PakRat Details

The Lumberjack PakRat is the sixteenth PakRat, a NEW line of tPOBs which have the unique feature of requiring Twigz to rebuild, and earn Cogs for the owner upon archival. Think of them as the link between Widdlz and Mechz! Each month will see the release of a new PakRat launching exclusively through the MunzPak this year.

They will remain on the map until they have been captured 10 times. When you purchase a MunzPak, you will receive a fully-built Lumberjack PakRat that auto-deploys. You will also be able to rebuild it when you have earned enough Twigz in the future. For now, the Lumberjack PakRat will be available in this month’s MunzPak only — meaning the deadline to get one is 23:59 MHQ on Sunday, May 31st.

🐨 May Gargoyle 🪽

An adorable new gargoyle has been mounted on the roof! Hailing from Australia, you can add the NEW Koala-Goyle to your collection by completing your capture streak next month!

If you completed your April capture streak, prepare to receive the Hog-Goyle Skin (and corresponding badge) in early May. Read on to learn more about the latest addition to the Gargoyle family!

April Gargoyle Reminders

If you haven’t picked up a base Gargoyle yet, they are available in the Freeze Tag Store for $9.

As a reminder, this is how to have a permanent Gargoyle on your account next year:

  • Own at least 8 Gargoyles by the end of the year.
    • Each month, the price of a Gargoyle will decrease by $1.
    • However, players can only purchase 1 Gargoyle every 28 days.

May Gargoyle Details

What Gargoyle awaits in May? The Koala-Goyle, who’s ready to chow down on some minty eucalypti! It is a temporary POB that will remain on the map as long as the players with permanent Gargoyles continue to use it.

As stated earlier, you’ll need to complete next month’s (May’s) capture streak to earn this skin. Once the skin is awarded in June, you can change the skin on the Gargoyle to this one at any point! If you need some help refer to our Help Guide article for the instructions on swapping skins!

You can find this sleepy statue at the following landing pads every 6 hours or when captured:

Remember, instead of scatters, Gargoyles introduce a new dual-ownership mechanic which will benefit both deployers and cappers!

  • After 4 captures, the Stone Gargoyle will turn into a Cracking Gargoyle
  • After 1 more capture, the Cracking Gargoyle will turn into a Freed Gargoyle, which is owned by both the deployer AND capper! This means both players will earn CapOn points!
    • NOTE: Only the Main Gargoyle Owner will get credit for the deploy. The Temporary Co-Owner will not see a deploy on their side, but instead will see earned CapOn points whenever the co-owned bouncer is captured.
  • After 5 captures, the Freed Gargoyle will turn back into a Stone Gargoyle

Badges

As a reminder, Gargoyles will have 4 associated badge lines:

  • Unique type deploy badges — you’ll need to earn each month’s skin by keeping your streak up!
  • Unique type capture badges — capture at least 1 of each skinned Gargoyle!
  • Overall deploy badges — the more Gargoyles you deploy, the merrier!
  • Overall capture badges — capture as many Gargoyles as you can find!
