⚔️ January 2025 Clan Wars Requirements

The New Year is upon us, and so are the new Clan War requirements! We’ve continued a few changes to our levels as we seek the right balance. Everyone, new and old, will find it easier to reach Level One. It only takes 3 days and minimal points for this base level this month! And to our ELITE players, Levels 4-6 remain as challenging as previous months. We hope our Level Six players feel like they’ve really earned all their rewards this month!

As with our last few months, we appreciate our loyal premium players and continue to choose to reserve levels specifically for them. Levels 3-6 are for premium only this month. We hope more of you will please consider supporting the game through a premium membership. This is available via monthly or yearly subscription in the app store, or a yearly purchase online.

Level 3 (Our lowest Premium only level with a golden carrot to redeem)

Individual

  • at least 15 days of activity
  • at least 40,000 total points
  • at least 28 Places captures
  • at least 500 greeting card points
  • at least 1 Golden Carrot deploy (available in premium redeem store on January 3rd)
  • at least 500 Trojan Unicorn points

Clan (in addition to individual requirements)

  • at least 200,000 total points
  • at least 500 evolution points
  • at least 500 Flat Friends/Objects points (Fancy Flat bouncers do not count)

Level 4 (It’s time to ramp it up and prove you can reach for the stars. Your progress to elite play begins here.)

  • at least 56 Places captures
  • at least 1250 greeting card points
  • at least 2 Claimed QRates
  • at least 1 Golden Carrot deploy (available in premium redeem store on January 3rd)
  • at least 1500 Mech points

  • at least 1250 evolution points

Level 5 (Reserved for premium players who have grown the map and reached QRew/ZeeQRew status – it’s time to earn this high level and rewards!)

Level 6 (Our most advanced level for ZeeQRew members to test their abilities and battle for their place on the yearly leaderboard – more CHALLENGES added for this month)

  • at least 5000 greeting card points

January Badges

Your Clan can earn monthly badges by reaching certain levels in Clan Wars. But remember, you only get a badge (and rewards) if the whole clan reaches that level. In January, there are six badges up for grabs. Here’s a sneak peak at the Level 6 badge:

*The Golden Carrot will be available to claim as a special trade in the Premium section of the redeem store beginning January 3rd. Cost will be 0 zeds (that’s right, ZERO zeds).

Older (but still important) reminders:

QRates must be found during the current clan war (after 00:10 on January3rd) — give the system a few minutes to fully switch into the new battle.

Mystery caps/deploys will count for Mystery and all Elemental Mystery types.

Evo bouncer points are all deploy, cap or capon points from any type of Evo Bouncer. These include the final forms of Butterfly, Turtle, Frog, Jellyfish, Pumpkin, Bee, and Duck. See Nature Evolutions in CuppaZee – Explore Bouncers.

Garden Scatter points are all capture, deploy, and cap on points from the scatters that belong to the set of Garden bouncers. This includes garden gnome hats, garden flamingo feathers, garden hedge flowers, glass guardian marbles. In CuppaZee they are called Streak Bouncers scatters.

Storyland Bouncer points are Cap/Deploy/CapOn from any bouncer in the Storyland set of POBs. This includes the NEW Jack Frost!

When each of these mechz are captured, it scatters up to three of the scatters below:

These scatters will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Mech owner’s account. They expire after 120 minutes and have a capture radius of 300 feet. Since they are passive deploys, these scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity.

There is one Blueprint for each NEW Mech and an additional badge for capturing at least one of each type. Remember, you can rebuild each of these Mechz with Cogs, but only if you earn the accompanying blueprint badge.

🔦🌃 Answer the Cap-Signal With Flat Flashlight Scatters! 🦸‍♀️🦇

At this time of year, many of us look forward to viewing beautiful light displays as part of our holiday traditions — so of course, we had to bring back our own way of lighting up the map! From NOW throughout the weekend, Flat Flashlights will be scattering a variety of themed flashlights when captured. Will you cap enough flashlights to reach superhero status?

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Wednesday, December 18th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, December 22nd at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Flashlight, up to 3 different Themed Flashlights may be scattered nearby!

As with other Flat Scatters, the Themed Flashlights will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat Flashlight owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers / Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These themed flashlight scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for Themed Flashlights are as follows:

  • Capture: 50 points
  • CapOn: 25 points

🤢 The Map Has Been Cursed!

Isn’t that just our luck!? A mysterious curse is taking over certain munzee types and it’s up to you to help us clean up the map! It appears the Cursed Munzees are linked to a bad strain of Well Wisps that have run amok across the game. There’s no telling how long these infected munzees will last, or if the Cursed Wisps will spread to new types, so don’t waste any time. We don’t want to let the curse fester!

As far as we can tell only the Briefcase and Amethyst have been affected, but both have grown a noxious green aura covering them, as you can see below. It pays to help out, because even if you’ve interacted with the afflicted munzees before, you’ll be able to earn a new cap on these Cursed types!

These Cursed Munzees are FlashMOBs just like the PiRibbit & Pogo Pirate earlier this year. This means that the Cursed Munzees are actually a “mask” applied on top of a host munzee: similar to a bouncing munzee, but once capped, they do NOT bounce anywhere else. You have “removed” the mask. All Briefcases and Virtual Amethysts will have these new types placed on top of them – only the first to capture on each type will be able to get these Cursed Munzees! So hurry and rush to capture them before others do!

Special Scatter Details

Upon cleansing a Cursed Munzee via capture, up to 3 Cursed Wisps will materialize nearby. This is the curse’s final defense mechanism — if it can’t stay on its original host, it will attempt to spread nearby via Wisps, like a nasty infection. Cap them to keep the map clean!

Badges

Cleansing all of the Cursed Munzees will be no easy feat, so as a reward, Cappy has commissioned two special badges to honor particularly dedicated cappers!

The first, which you can see below, is for capturing at least 13 Cursed Wisps:

Cursed Wisp Conqueror- Capture 13 Cursed Wisp scatters during the Friday the 13th Event in December 2024.

The second badge will be kept a secret for now — a wise king knows that a little extra motivation doesn’t hurt!

Oddly enough the Cursed Munzees have appeared on the unluckiest day of the year: Friday The 13th! If you’re chill enough to risk your luck even further we have a new Limited Edition card for your deploying pleasure!

Sculpt a rather spooky snowman with the Cold Blooded Card! Available in the Freeze Tag Store!

You can also earn the Cold-Blooded Keeper badge by capturing and/or deploying at least 13 Greeting Card munzees of any type between 00:01 MHQ on Friday, December 13 to 23:59 MHQ on Sunday, December 15. After this time, the Cold Blooded Card will also eerily vanish from the Store.

🕵️💎 Special Deploy Event: Master of the 13 Labours Challenge!

Though our performance of the NutQRacker is well into Act I, whether or not you own a Mailbox, you may be looking for some more ways to play this month. Luckily, a mysterious Labrador has challenged you to a Herculean task. Can you become a Master of The 13 Labours Challenge? This deploy challenge that might reward you with each fresh deploy, and additional rewards if you deploy all the types he requires — read on to learn more!

Master of the 13 Labours Challenge

Simply deploy the 13 types listed below in-app, from NOW to Thursday, December 12th at 23:59 MHQ! Every time you deploy in-app, you’ll have the chance to be rewarded with extra scatters to cap, and a chance to earn either Zeds or Stamps, so deploy as many of each type as you like!

Please note: undeploying and redeploying munzees will not work — ONLY fresh deploys!

Challenge Rewards

Send Scatters on Deploy!

When you deploy ANY of the munzee types from the list above in-app, up to 3 scatters may be deployed on the map AT THE DEPLOY LOCATION for you or nearby friends to cap!

Please note: Fresh deploy must be done in-app to receive scatters.
The scatters will appear at the location of the original deploy, so you’ll need to place these munzees locally if you want to take advantage of the bonus. If you deploy somewhere else in the world, the scatters will be in that location. Choose wisely!

If the type you deploy normally scatters something on capture — i.e. an Air Mystery normally scatters Feathers on capture — then that is what will scatter on deploy. Otherwise, Boulders will be scattered — so make sure to deploy near some Greenies for the Boulders to have something to land on!

Chance to Earn Credits!

  • Deploys of physical munzees from the list above have a chance to earn 10 Zeds!
  • Deploys of virtual munzees from the list above have a chance to earn 1 Stamp!

December Badges

Your Clan can earn monthly badges by reaching certain levels in Clan Wars. But remember, you only get a badge (and rewards) if the whole clan reaches that level. In December, there are six badges up for grabs. Here’s a sneak peak at the Level 6 badge:

*The Baby Hippo will be available to claim as a special trade in the Premium section of the redeem store beginning December 3rd. Cost will be 0 zeds (that’s right, ZERO zeds). Clan Hippos will be archived January 1st, so enjoy them while they are bouncing!

Older (but still important) reminders:

QRates must be found during the current clan war (after 00:10 on December 3rd) — give the system a few minutes to fully switch into the new battle.

Mystery caps/deploys will count for Mystery and all Elemental Mystery types.

Evo bouncer points are all deploy, cap or capon points from any type of Evo Bouncer. These include the final forms of Butterfly, Turtle, Frog, Jellyfish, Pumpkin, Bee, and Duck. See Nature Evolutions in CuppaZee – Explore Bouncers.

Garden Scatter points are all capture, deploy, and cap on points from the scatters that belong to the set of Garden bouncers. This includes garden gnome hats, garden flamingo feathers, garden hedge flowers, glass guardian marbles. In CuppaZee they are called Streak Bouncers scatters.

Storyland Bouncer points are Cap/Deploy/CapOn from any bouncer in the Storyland set of POBs. This includes the NEW Jack Frost!

Like the other Mythological Munzees, Jack Frost is a permanent POB. It is the 9th of the Storyland line of Myths, joining the likes of the Owlbear and Fenrir!

You can find this holiday harbinger gliding to the landing pads above every 12 hours or when captured.

Jack Frost will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture Jack Frost on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same Jack Frost visits you. Jack Frost is non-blastable and will be attracted to Magnets. You can access them by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When Jack Frost is captured, it will scatter up to 3 Froses.

These scatters will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Jack Frost owner’s account. This means that, unlike Air Mystery Feathers/Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes and have a capture radius of 300 feet. Since they are passive deploys, these scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity.

🪵 We’re Branching Out a Widdl with these NEW tPOBs! 🪵

Cappy has made an exciting new discovery in the Enchanted Woodlands: Meet the Widdlz! This all new line of temporary Player Owned Bouncers (tPOBs) have some unique traits, but it’s up to you to free the whimsical Widdlz from their wooden Trunkz! When you purchase a Widdlz Trunk you don’t know which Widdl will be inside, but as your collection grows your wooden critters will level up to new heights! Head to the In-App Store to purchase a Widdlz Trunk, or read on to learn more!

Widdlz Trunk

The Widdlz Trunk is simply a blind box container for the Widdl bouncer inside. You can get a Widdlz Trunk for 150 Zeds in the In-App Store, and when you purchase it the Widdlz Trunk will open and you’ll randomly receive 1 of 8 different Widdlz!

Some Widdlz are sweet, while others can be a little Rotten, but every Widdl is ready for adventure! This is the first series of Widdlz, so you’ll be able to collect all 8 right out the gate, but there may be additional series in the future so don’t wait too long to start your collection.

Each Widdlz’ point structure is based on their level, which is shown in the table below:

How do you increase your Widdl’s level? Keep opening Widdlz Trunkz! Once you receive a duplicate Widdl, that type will level up! Pay attention to the pop-up after opening your Trunk — the icons let you know if you’ve received a new Widdl, leveled up your Widdl, or reached the max level for that Widdl!

Landing Pad and Duration:
To increase the chances of these curious creatures being captured, they will bounce EVERY HOUR. After 5 Days, they will return to the earth and be archived. To keep things simple for newer players, ALL Widdlz will bounce to the landing pads listed below:

  • Greenies
  • Virtual Colors
  • Widdlz Workshop (learn more below!)

Although we’re always sad to see a Widdl wear itself out, their hard work will not go in vain! When a Widdl has ended its journey it will bring the owner a special new type of credit called Twigz! These Twigz can be exchanged for prizes in the Redeem Store, and the higher the level of your Widdl the more Twigz they’ll bring back! You’ll want to deploy as many Widdlz as possible to not only complete your collection, but to also build an army of expert foragers…

Your Widdlz will bring back Twigz as rewards for all their hard work!

💫 Wish Upon A Star! 💫

As mentioned above, you can of course deploy more Widdlz by opening more Widdlz Trunkz. However, if you’ve been collecting Shooting Stars on your Daily Stroll, you can also deploy more Widdlz at Wishing Wells! That’s right, now when you interact with your local Wishing Well you’ll be able to use Stars to make TWO types of wishes. Here you’ll also be able to see your collection of Widdlz and what level each has reached.

To get started simply:

  1. Head to your nearest Wishing Well
  2. Tap on its icon
  3. Tap [Details]
  4. Tap [Make A Wish]
  5. Tap [Widdlz]
  6. Tap [Deploy] on your desired Widdl type — make sure you have enough Shooting Stars!
  7. Tap on the button with the Shooting Star cost to confirm!

Please note that you will only be able to deploy Widdlz that you’ve already received from a Trunk previously, and that it will deploy the highest level you’ve attained for that type.

As for deploying Well Wisps, the process is still mostly the same, you’ll just see an extra screen — the new “Make a Wish!” menu shown above! Now that your Widdlz are ready to adventure around the world, they’re going to need some rest stops along the way…

🪚 Widdlz Workshop Details 🔨

For those eager to meet these tiny tree friends, you can set up a Widdlz Workshop to attract them, and as a bonus Cubimals will also find sanctuary at these workshops! Like a few other temporary Bouncer Destinations, these will remain on the map for 3 Days — it’s not safe for Widdlz to stay in one place for too long! Pick one up in the Freeze Tag Store HERE for $2 or in the In-App Store for 250 Zeds!

November 2024 Clan Wars Requirements

November is upon us, and so are the new Clan War requirements! We’ve continued a few changes to our levels as we seek the right balance. Everyone, new and old, will find it easier to reach Level One. It only takes points for this base level this month! And to our ELITE players, Levels 4-6 have seen an increase in challenge. We hope our Level Six players feel like they’ve really earned all their rewards this month!
As with our last few months, we appreciate our loyal premium players and continue to choose to reserve levels specifically for them. Levels 3-6 are for premium only this month. We hope more of you will please consider supporting the game through a premium membership. This is available via monthly or yearly subscription in the app store, or a yearly purchase online.
