A drowsy new chef has stumbled into the kitchen! Meet the OmLetitia MunzShroom, an early riser who yawns her way through dawn while whipping up fluffy omelettes. Keep your capture streak alive in September to add this breakfast-loving fungi to your collection before the coffee’s even brewed!

If you completed your August capture streak, prepare to receive the SisKabob MunzShroom Skin (and corresponding badge) in early September. Read on to learn more about the latest addition to the MunzShroom family!

August MunzShroom Reminders

If you haven’t picked up a base MunzShroom yet, they are available in the Freeze Tag Store for $5.

As a reminder, this is how to have a permanent MunzShroom on your account next year:

  • Own at least 8 MunzShrooms by the end of the year.
    • Each month, the price of a MunzShroom will decrease by $1.
    • However, players can only purchase 1 MunzShroom every 28 days.

⚔️ September 2025 Clan Wars Requirements 🛡️

September is usually a more temperate month across the world as the seasons change. With that in mind we’ve chosen many types to spread the love across the playing field. We’ve also made a change to the Premium tPOB, The Moose is Loose! This month Level 3 and above is only for premium members with a deploy of the Baby Moose through the premium tab in the redeem store.

If you are not yet a premium member we hope you will consider supporting the game through a premium membership. This is available via monthly or yearly subscription directly in the app, or a yearly purchase online. If you purchase through the app a 7 day free trial begins, and your status will not be updated until the end of that trial period.

Your Clan can earn monthly badges by reaching certain levels in Clan Wars. But remember, you only get a badge (and rewards) if the whole clan reaches that level. In September, there are six badges up for grabs. Here’s a sneak peek at the Level 5 badge:

*The Baby Moose tPOB will be available to claim as a special trade in the Premium section of the redeem store beginning September 3rd. Cost will be 0 zeds (that’s right, ZERO zeds). The Baby Moose will be auto-deployed on your account when redeemed.

Deep in the the enchanted groves, a new band of mechz is chopping their way onto the scene—the Dads of Sirwood Forest! These Middle-Aged Mechanical Medieval Fathers may crack dad jokes as sharp as their blades, but don’t be fooled—their courage (and questionable hobbies) make them a force to be reckoned with.

We’ve also added a few new dad joke-themed Greeting Cards to the store! Swap deploys with friends or deploy at upcoming events — read on to learn more!

To kick off this new line of Mechz we have Sir CutTree, the axe-wielding computer whiz who quite literally puts the hack in hacking. 🌊🤿 Secret ZeeOps – Under the ZEE (August 2025)

Can you help defend the lost kingdom of Atlantis from pirates?! An ALL NEW Secret ZeeOps is now available in the ZeeOps Hub for the usual cost of 1,500 Zeds until 23:59 MHQ on September 30th. Remember, if you’ve purchased a Secret ZeeOp, you can complete it and collect rewards even after it is no longer available for purchase.

Agents, it appears a return to the Bermuda Triangle is necessary — multiple sources point to it marking the location of Atlantis deep in the waters below. Your mission is to investigate the ruins and bring back any intel on its collapse, and also keep an eye out for any ancient technologies that may have applications in present day. Stealth is key so as not to attract any unwanted attention.

Completing a series of missions will unlock new levels in this operation. There are three levels, each with five missions. If you conquer every mission in Operation: Under the ZEE, you’ll earn a cool new badge, the NEW HYDR0 Guardian (info below), and more exciting rewards listed in the app!

Like the other Munzee Mechz, HYDR0 Guardian is a temporary POB that will remain on the map until it has been captured 15 times.

🏞️ Dip Your Toes into Caddying During this Flat Scatter Event! 🥏

Continuing where we left off from last year’s event, for National Disc Golf Day, we’re caddying with Robbie and fetching those discs from the water! Will you be able to collect them all and earn a special badge for this event?!

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Tuesday, August 5th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, August 10th at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Disc Golf Basket, up to 3 different Discs may be scattered nearby!

As with other Flat Scatters, the Discs will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers / Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These disc scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for Discs are as follows:

  • Capture: 50 points
  • CapOn: 25 points
