NEW Widdl Zombie Details

The Widdl Zombie is no ordinary Widdl — it’s already maxed out at Level 10, so you’ll be raking in those high-tier points right from the start! Plus, you can redeploy the Widdl Zombie directly from a Wishing Well for just 25 Stars, just like your other Level 10 Widdlz. As a reminder, this is a temporary POB that will remain on the map for 5 days.

Landing Pads

This Widdl can be spotted on the landing pads listed above every 1 hour or when captured.

This Widdl will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture this Widdl on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same Widdl visits you. This Widdl is non-blastable. It will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access this Widdl by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

Well Wisp Scatter Bonus

When this Widdl is captured, it will scatter a Well Wisp nearby to start a trail. These are the same Well Wisps from the Daily Stroll, which will be deployed on the Wishmaster account.

🦜 Meet a Colorful Cast of Feathered Friends with Flat Typewriter Scatters! 📚

Sometimes birds of different feathers can still flock together! From NOW through the 23rd, the Flat Typewriter will be scattering a selection of charming stories when captured. Whether you’re a fan of mysteries, musicals, romances, or comedies, there’s a story for every reader! Read on to find out what new story Craig has written this time!

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Wednesday, March 19th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, March 23rd at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Typewriter, up to 3 different Stories may be scattered nearby!

As with other Flat Scatters, the Stories will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat Typewriter owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers / Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These story scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for Stories are as follows:

  • Capture: 50 points
  • CapOn: 25 points

🎭 Traveling Troupe Specials Return With NEW Performers! 🎪

As the weather transitions from Winter to Spring, the Traveling Troupe is taking advantage of the pleasant temperatures! From NOW until Tuesday, April 8th at 23:59 MHQ the Traveling Troupe will be bouncing around the map. For this particular festival there will be SEVEN different performers, but don’t be surprised if the Traveling Troupe stagecoach returns in the future with a new set of acts! So be sure to check out the show before they leave and then rediscover the bouncer again the next time it returns to town.

Like last time, Traveling Troupe specials will be released in waves, but will end at a total of 3,000 on the map. They will bounce around every 4 hours or when capped. These stagecoaches are Munzee Owned Bouncers (MOBs) but they will land on Flat Munzees all across the realm!

These munzees will not be blastable. They will be attracted to magnets, available from the Freeze Tag Online Store. You can access the Traveling Troupe specials under the “All Expiring Specials” and “All Limited Specials” filters.

When a Traveling Troupe is captured, it will scatter 1-2 Performers nearby! While we want to keep most of the acts a surprise right now, here’s a sneak peek at the new silhouettes:

How Does It Work?

The Lucky Dip – Greeting Card can be found in the Featured section of the in-app store and is available to purchase for 40 Zeds. 📲 App Update: Activate Multiple Boosters and Rover Treats at once! 🆙🦴

To access this latest feature, you’ll need to make sure you’re on the latest version of Munzee from the App Stores (4.1.228 on iOS, 4.1.222 on Android), then restart the app to pull down the latest over-the-air update version #1170.

Activate Multiple Boosters

Now you can activate up to 12 of each booster type at once! This should hopefully cut down on the number of screens you have to tap through on busy days of play!

  • See the amount of booster credits you’ll be using, and the total time they’ll be active for!
  • After confirming, you’ll see the timer counting down as usual!

One thing to keep in mind though: after activating the booster(s), you’ll need to wait until the timer is up before you can activate more. 

Activate Multiple Rover Treats

Similarly, you can now activate up to 2 Rover Treats at once, quadrupling your capture range. Why only 2 you ask? Because they can also be stacked with the Capture Radius Booster and Distance Draught Potion — allowing for a truly expansive reach!

  • Normally, you’d need to be within 150 ft of an Amethyst to capture it.
  • With 1 Rover Treat, your capture range is doubled, so you’d only need to be within 300 ft.
  • However, we are 501 ft away in this screenshot.
  • Since we are 501 ft away, we are within 4 times the normal capture radius for Amethysts (4 x 150 ft = 600 ft).
  • This means the option to capture it with 2 Rover Treats will appear!

Due to the powerful abilities of these game pieces, they can be a bit hard to come by. Here’s how you can build up your inventory of them — please note these are subject to change, but at the time of writing the available options are:

The Aeronautical PakRat is the second PakRat, a NEW line of tPOBs which have the unique feature of requiring Twigz to rebuild, and earn Cogs for the owner upon archival. Think of them as the link between Widdlz and Mechz! Each month will see the release of a new PakRat launching exclusively through the MunzPak this year.

They will remain on the map until they have been captured 10 times. When you purchase a MunzPak, you will receive a fully-built Aeronautical PakRat that auto-deploys. For now, the Aeronautical PakRat will be available in this month’s MunzPak only — meaning the deadline to get one is 23:59 MHQ on Monday, March 31st.
