🍔 Deliver-Lou Strikes Again! Pedal for Flat Lou Treats 🚴‍♀️

The wheels are turning once again as the 5th Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift prepares to race across Switzerland and France!

This year’s race features 9 stages from August 1st through August 9th, beginning with a Grand Départ in Lausanne, Switzerland. From there, the riders will cross into France, conquer the legendary Mont Ventoux, and pedal toward a spectacular seaside finale in Nice!

Of course, Lou couldn’t let the riders have all the fun. The Flat Lou scatters are returning for another delicious cycling adventure, and it looks like Deliver-Lou is back in the saddle!

Limited-Time Scatter Details 🚴‍♀️

From the period of Saturday, August 1st at 00:00 MHQ through Sunday, August 9th at 23:59 MHQ, capturing a Flat Lou may send up to 3 Grapes, Wedges of Cheese, or Baguettes racing onto the map nearby! Similarly, capturing a Fancy Flat Lou may scatter up to 3 Champagne Bottles nearby!

As with other Flat Scatters, the French Foods and Drink will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers / Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These french food and drink scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for French Foods and Drink are as follows:

  • Capture: 50 points
  • CapOn: 25 points

🥳🎪 Traveling Troupe Returns! NEW Midnight Matinee Performers 🌃✨

The Traveling Troupe is back under the spotlight for Munzee’s 15th Birthday celebration! For this special birthday performance, the performers have transformed into dazzling neon acts, lighting up the Midnight Matinee beneath the Epic Eclipse. From NOW through Sunday, August 9th at 23:59 MHQ, these glowing specials will be bouncing across the map.

This return introduces all-new Neon Performers and Neon Prop variants, giving every act in the troupe an electrifying blacklight makeover. While these glowing performers may return for future shows, the exclusive Midnight Matinee badge is only available during Munzee’s 15th Birthday celebration, so be sure to catch the entire cast before the curtain closes on this year’s festivities!

Traveling Troupe Specials

As always, Traveling Troupe specials will be released in waves, but will end at a total of 3,000 on the map. They will bounce around every 4 hours or when capped. These stagecoaches are Munzee Owned Bouncers (MOBs) but they will land on Flat Munzees all across the realm!

🩷💚💜 Glow Up! ☁︎🌒🎆 The Munzee Map Is Covered In Shadows!

The Epic Eclipse has darkened the New Dawn Festival, and malevolent midnight spirits have been unleashed all across the Munzee map! Certain Munzee types are now covered in neon shadows, and this Shadow Curse is spreading through clusters of glowing blacklight Wisps. Shine a light and save the day by capturing Shadow Cursed Munzees, clear out the Shadow Wisps, and brighten up the map before this eclipse is permanent!

Shadow Cursed Munzees

As the darkness spreads, some of our most brightly shining munzees have been taken over by the neon glow of the shadows! Flat Flashlights, Air Mysteries, and Surprise Munzees have all been affected by the Shadow Curse, and their black-lit distortions can be seen below. Don’t let their neon glowing appearance fool you though — even if you’ve captured these Munzees before, shining a light on these shadow versions will earn you a brand new cap!

As the Shadow Curse continues to spread, new Munzee types will be overcast… Here’s a sneak peek at the upcoming afflicted types starting next Tuesday, July 21st at 00:01 MHQ! Week #1 types will still be available to find alongside Week #2. Move fast and help brighten things up while you can — all Shadow Munzees will fade away and leave the map on Sunday August 2nd at 23:59 MHQ.

Week #2 Shadow Cursed Types
  • Capture: 60 points
  • CapOn: 3 points

These Shadow Munzees are FlashMOBs just like the Cursed Munzees from previous events. This means that the Cursed Munzees are actually a “mask” applied on top of a host munzee: similar to a bouncing munzee, but once capped, they do NOT bounce anywhere else. You have “removed” the mask. All effected munzees will have these new types placed on top of them – only the first to capture on each type will be able to get these Cursed Munzees! So hurry and rush to capture them before others do!

Special Scatter Details

Upon cleansing a Shadow Munzee via capture, up to 3 Shadow Wisps will materialize nearby. This is the curse’s final defense mechanism — if it can’t stay on its original host, it will attempt to spread nearby via Wisps, like a nasty infection. Cap them to keep the map from succumbing to darkness!

This March, instead of featuring just one Flat Friend or Flat Object, we wanted to start a new birthday tradition! If you were concerned about meeting certain March Clan Wars Requirements, this should come in handy!

From NOW through March 22nd, Flat Rob, Flat Flashlight, Flat Fountain Pen, and Flat Disc Golf Basket will be scattering Birthday Hats when captured. Will you be able to collect them all?

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Monday, March 10th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, March 22nd at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Rob, Flat Flashlight, Flat Fountain Pen, or Flat Disc Golf Basket, up to 3 Birthday Hats may be scattered nearby!

As with other Flat Scatters, the Hats will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers / Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! 💕🎶 Listen to Love Songs from LuteBox Specials! 🧝🪕

Valentine’s Day may be over, but Flat Day the 13th: The Game is still going strong — so we figured, it’s never too late to put out some love songs! You may remember our Jukebox Specials from a few years ago — we’ve updated them now to fit our more medZEEval MHQ world! They are live NOW until Sunday, March 8th at 23:59 MHQ, though like the Traveling Troupe Specials, they will most likely return with more songs in the future!

LuteBox Specials

Look forward to seeing Munzee-fied versions of classic hits! These specials will be released in waves, but will end at a total of 1,500 Evergreen LuteBoxes and 1,500 Velvet LuteBoxes.

They will bounce around every 4 hours or when capped.

These specials will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture a LuteBox on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same LuteBox visits you. These munzees will not be blastable. They will be attracted to magnets, available from the Freeze Tag Online Store. You can access the LuteBox specials under the “All Expiring Specials” and “All Limited Specials” filters.

When a LuteBox is captured, it will scatter up to 1 LuteBox Record for regular players, and up to 3 LuteBox Records for Premium Members. At launch each LuteBox has the potential to scatter different records!

While we want to keep most of the records a surprise right now, here’s a sneak peek at one of them:

These scatters will be worth 50 points per capture and visible to any player! They expire after 30 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well!

Badges

Currently, there are 3 new badges to earn:

  • 1 for capturing an Evergreen LuteBox
  • 1 for capturing a Velvet LuteBox
  • 1 for capturing all 8 love song records

Make sure to keep capping LuteBoxes to collect them all!

🃏 A Topzee-Turvee Flat Scatter Event! 🧢

2/17/26 Update: Due to code changes since the last time these scatters were live, scatters from Fancy Flat Robs are currently being deployed on the landing pad owner’s account. Our apologies to the Fancy Flat Rob owners who were expecting to get CapOn points from these scatters — unfortunately, there is no quick way for us to correct this, so we’ll have to address it before the next time we re-release these scatters.

This year for Mardi Gras, Rob is joining in on the fun with a festive jester hat!

From NOW through February 22nd, Flat Rob, Beach Flat Rob, Cold Flat Rob, and Tux Flat Rob will be scattering their usual hats when captured. Will you be able to collect them all and earn a special badge for this event?!

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Monday, February 16th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, February 22nd at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Rob, Beach Flat Rob, Cold Flat Rob, OR Tux Flat Rob, up to 3 different Hats may be scattered nearby!

As with other Flat Scatters, the Hats will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers / Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for Hats are as follows:

  • Capture: 50 points
  • CapOn: 25 points
