💕🎶 Listen to Love Songs from LuteBox Specials! 🧝🪕

Valentine’s Day may be over, but Flat Day the 13th: The Game is still going strong — so we figured, it’s never too late to put out some love songs! You may remember our Jukebox Specials from a few years ago — we’ve updated them now to fit our more medZEEval MHQ world! They are live NOW until Sunday, March 8th at 23:59 MHQ, though like the Traveling Troupe Specials, they will most likely return with more songs in the future!

LuteBox Specials

Look forward to seeing Munzee-fied versions of classic hits! These specials will be released in waves, but will end at a total of 1,500 Evergreen LuteBoxes and 1,500 Velvet LuteBoxes.

They will bounce around every 4 hours or when capped.

These specials will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture a LuteBox on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same LuteBox visits you. These munzees will not be blastable. They will be attracted to magnets, available from the Freeze Tag Online Store. You can access the LuteBox specials under the “All Expiring Specials” and “All Limited Specials” filters.

When a LuteBox is captured, it will scatter up to 1 LuteBox Record for regular players, and up to 3 LuteBox Records for Premium Members. At launch each LuteBox has the potential to scatter different records!

While we want to keep most of the records a surprise right now, here’s a sneak peek at one of them:

These scatters will be worth 50 points per capture and visible to any player! They expire after 30 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well!

Currently, there are 3 new badges to earn:

  • 1 for capturing an Evergreen LuteBox
  • 1 for capturing a Velvet LuteBox
  • 1 for capturing all 8 love song records

🧁 Munzee Events in 2026! 🎉

We’re shaking things up in 2026 by bringing back some oldie but goodie options! As it has been years since some of these have seen the light of day, you may find that there are some slight differences to what you remember — we’ve needed to update them to work with our current systems. Read on to learn more about what we’ve resurrected!

Monthly Event Packages

We said goodbye to these packages in 2024, but now that everyone’s had some time to breathe, we are delighted to offer them again! After all, many of you are already in the habit of meeting each month, so why not give you the option to upgrade your event?!

Please note, you will need to purchase the $10 Basic Event Package first to get access to your Event Account and all the usual items that go along with it, making the Monthly Event Package an add-on. To sweeten the deal, we’ve included Cake Credits as part of the Monthly Event Package, plus a bunch of other goodies listed below!

For $50 you will get the following:

  • No proximity restrictions (Event Pins still have to be 100 ft apart though)

Many of you have shared with us your fond memories of the days when Eventzee was part of Munzee Events — hosts really got creative, using Eventzee to set up fun activities that enhanced their events’ themes and gave attendees more to do. Now that Eventzee has truly taken off and the process of setting up an event in the separate app has been streamlined, we’re excited to offer it again as an add-on for $50!

The game of Munzee has always thrived thanks to you — our amazing global community of players! Now, it’s time to take that one step further with a brand-new way to shape the future of the game. Introducing Community Credits — a special new currency that lets you help decide which updates and features we work on next! To access these latest features, you’ll need to make sure you’re on the latest version of Munzee from the App Stores (4.1.246 on both iOS and 4.1.247 Android), then restart the app to pull down the latest over-the-air update version #1207.

With Community Credits, you’ll be able to vote toward proposed gameplay updates that we put forward to the community. Your votes will directly influence the direction of Munzee, giving you a real say in how the game evolves.

💰 How to Earn Community Credits

Players can earn Community Credits (CCs) by participating in a variety of gameplay activities and events! To start, you’ll be able to hold a maximum of 1,000 CCs at a time — though this limit may increase in the future. Note – This means if you already have 1,000 CCs, you will not be able to earn anymore until you spend some of the credits you have.

We want dedicated, active players to have the strongest voice in shaping the direction of Munzee. Here’s where you can start earning Community Credits right away:

    • This pop up will also display profile pictures of the Top 10 Players who have contributed the most votes to the feature

Please note: while Community Credit votes will strongly influence the direction of future updates, a winning option does not guarantee immediate development or release. These votes help our team better understand what features and ideas players are most excited about — and we’ll carefully review and consider every result before moving forward.

In some cases, if one option becomes a clear and overwhelming favorite, we may temporarily remove it as a “confirmed frontrunner” so that voting can continue between the remaining options. This ensures all ideas get fair attention while helping us gauge overall player interest across multiple potential features.

    • It will be auto-archived at the end of the 12th day after being deployed.
  • After receiving a prize, the Cuckoo Clocks will be auto-magnetized to attract 1 bouncer for you to capture

We’re excited to announce a NEW App Update! Now you can access the Redeem Store via the app, which should be much easier to navigate on mobile devices than our webpage. Head to the Camp Hub and tap the Enchanted Toolbox to get craftin’ with your credits!

Although the Redeem Store itself has been around for a while, this app update continues our quest of making the game more accessible for new and veteran players alike! As a refresher in this section you can forge different Munzee types using various shards, stamps, cogs, and other credits that you’ve earned over time. Not only can you create new munzee types like Mechz, but you can also redeem your undeployed munzees for new credits like Jewel Shards to make superior game pieces.

Check out your inventory, and you might also see some discounted products for you to redeem as well! Be sure to visit each tab in order to take advantage of the Redeem Store deals while you can. NEW Pumpkin Prize Machine Details

  • Capture the Pumpkin Prize Machine once a day to receive a prize
    • It MUST be captured 13 days in a row to receive all 13 prizes, similar to a mailbox and the Dice Tower.
    • You might receive a different prize than others on a given day, but everyone will have received all the same prizes by the end of the 13 days.
    • It will be auto-archived at the end of the 13th day after being deployed.
  • After receiving a prize, the Pumpkin Prize Machine will be auto-magnetized to attract 1 bouncer for you to capture
    • NOTE – It may take some time for a bouncer to land, so be sure to check back again soon
  • The Pumpkin Prize Machine also acts as a standard landing pad, which means you can capture a bouncer anytime it lands there!
  • Other players will also be able to capture your Pumpkin Prize Machine, but will not receive a prize.
    • Non-owners can also capture it whenever a bouncer is sitting on it.
  • The Pumpkin Prize Machine may be moved to new locations in order for the owner to keep up with the daily prize captures.
    • NOTE – If a bouncer is sitting on the Pumpkin Prize Machine when moved, it will be force nudged and removed
