NEW Wonder11and Skin in the Redeem Store!

This skin is quite late to the party considering there are only 11 days left in our UnBirthday month — but isn’t that just so in character? Plus, it is our 11th (Un)Birthday this year, so it’s even more fitting.

The Mad Hatter Garden Gnome Has Arrived!

While brainstorming all the ways we could transform the Munzee map into Wonder11and, we thought it would be fun to bring back last year’s Garden Gnome for a short while. Naturally, we can’t let the March Hare Garden Flamingo celebrate its UnBirthday all by itself!

Mad Hatter Gnome Details

The Mad Hatter Garden Gnome is a temporary POB that will remain on the map for approximately 60 days after this launch — until some time on September 19 — when it will be automatically archived on your account. You may recall that this is similar to the Baby Animals we released in the past. However, after September 19, players with permanent Garden Gnomes can change the skin on the gnome to this one at any point — refer to our Help Guide article for the instructions!

Additionally, the Mad Hatter Garden Gnome will scatter up to 3 NEW Mad Hatter Gnome Hats nearby when it is captured!

Like the other Gnome Hats, these scatters will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Gnome owner’s account. This means that unlike Air Mystery Feathers/Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes and have a capture radius of 300 feet. These gnome scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

Badges

As a reminder, Garden Gnomes have 4 associated badge lines:

  • Unique type deploy badges — you’ll need to earn each month’s skin by keeping your streak up!
  • Overall deploy badges — the more gnomes you deploy, the merrier!
  • Unique type capture badges — capture at least 1 of each skinned gnome!
  • Overall capture badges — capture as many gnomes as you can find!

While we revealed images for the first of each badge line in the original post, we are happy to show you the “Unique type deploy” and “Unique type capture” badges associated with the Mad Hatter Garden Gnome:

Road Warriors Road Trip!

After a sneak peek in Florida this weekend, you may have noticed some new Flat Vans driving around! As you’ve probably guessed, these are Dale and Barb’s new Flat Object Munzees, and we’ve got the details for them below!

In addition, we’ve got some exciting news for Dale and Barb fans — they’ll be making a huge Road Trip around the states, covering territory they don’t usually get to visit! As this is such a special occasion, we’ve created new permanent physical munzees for them to deploy along the way and commemorate their trip — read on to learn more!

Flat Van Details

The eighth Flat Object is brought to you by Dale and Barb, our Roadwarriors! They are great ambassadors of our app, keeping in touch with players along the Space Coast and many more areas! If you’ve attended any of the Munzee Events they’ve hosted in the past, you’ve probably already met them, but for those who haven’t been fortunate enough to get to know them, or would like a refresher, you can check out their most recent Meet Munzee Munzday / Team Munzee Tuezday posts HERE and HERE!

Road Warriors 2022 Munzees

As Dale and Barb make their way around the U.S.A. in their not-flat van, they’ll be deploying physicals along their Road Trip route. However, they won’t be deploying on their personal accounts (SpaceCoastGeoStore and DalenBarb) — instead, they’ll be using the Roadwarriors Munzee account, which has the ability to convert greenies to the colorful icon pictured below! If you’ve been Munzee-ing for a while, you’ll find that they are similar to the InternationElles, Whomp Canada, and Wayward Nation munzees.

More UnBirthday QRates are Materializing!

A week ago, we revealed what was waiting inside the UnBirthday Qrate for Tier 3 UnBirthday Mailbox members — the SUN! As one of the newly-released FL0W3R Mechz, it’s definitely a hot commodity! Of course, we didn’t want to leave the rest of the players out indefinitely, so we thought it would be nice to release the Blueprints (just the Blueprints, no auto-deployed tPOB) in a slightly different UnBirthday QRate for all!

    • Other prizes in the prize pool include a previously unreleased Cubimal, and 5-packs of certain Greeting Cards
    • If you already own the SUN Blueprint (i.e. if you are a Tier 3 UnBirthday Mailbox member) you will receive one of the other prizes

Trade in Painted Rose Credits to Hide the Evidence!

You’ve heard of Candy Corn Credits, C04L Credits, and Sham Rock Credits — now get ready for Painted Rose Credits! After reviewing the activity on Sham Rock Credits and making some improvements (we hope ?) we’ve created a new limited-time credit for you to earn and redeem!

Like Jewel Shards, Weapon Shards, and Cogs, you’ll be able to redeem Painted Rose Credits (PRC) at the Redeem Store for game pieces. However, like the past limited-time credits, they can only be redeemed until 02:30 MHQ on Wednesday, August 3rd (when August Clan Wars starts).

How to Earn Painted Rose Credits

Painted Rose Credits can be earned from 00:01 MHQ on Friday, July 1st to 23:59 MHQ on Sunday, July 31st.

As usual, the most up-to-date list of what’s available will be what you see on munzee.com/redeem. Join the Queen’s Court with the Wonder11and Playing Cards!

— UPDATE: As of 7/8/22 12:30 MHQ — these specials now bounce every hour or when capped, to reduce the amount of alerts being created.

It’s about time for you to meet the Queen of Hearts! If you’re lucky, you may see her on the map right away — otherwise, you might need to go through a few of her guards first. Regardless, we know she’ll be mad about you, simply mad!

Wonder11and Playing Card Specials

Wonder11and Playing Card specials are now live on the map for everyone and will remain available until August 7 at 23:59 MHQ.

These specials will be released in waves, ending at a total of 100 of each card, except for the Joker and Jester, of which there are only 10 each. This means there will be (100 x 52) + (10 x 2) = 5,220 cards bouncing around on the map!

As there are 54 different icons to cap, they’ll be bouncing around much quicker than the usual MOB to make sure they visit as many munzees as possible — every 30 minutes 1 hour or when capped.

These specials will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture a Playing Card on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same Playing Card visits you. These munzees will not be blastable. They will be attracted to magnets, available from the Freeze Tag Online Store. You can access the Playing Cards under the “All Expiring Specials” and “All Limited Specials” filters.

Badges

There is only 1 line of badges related to Wonder11and Playing Card specials.

It is based on capping different combinations of Playing Cards, similar to the Hot Dogz that just left the map. As we anticipate these badges being more difficult to earn than usual, we’ve decided to reveal all of them now:

Joker Jail- Capture a Joker or Jester Wonder11and Playing Card.

UnBirthday QRate Spoiler!

If you’re a Tier 3 member of the UnBirthday Mailbox, there’s a reason why the requirements are set to just 25 physical captures — we wanted you to open it ASAP! Inside the UnBirthday QRate, you will receive a fully-built SUN that auto-deploys. You will also receive the Blueprint to rebuild it as many times as you like with the Cogs you’ve earned from Daily ZeeOps. Remember that you’ll need to head to the Redeem Store to do so!

SUN Details

Like the other FL0W3R Mechz, the SUN is a temporary POB. It will deploy on your account when you complete the requirements to open the UnBirthday QRate awarded from the UnBirthday Mailbox. The mailbox must be capped on July 4th 00:01-23:59 MHQ time to receive the UnBirthday QRate.

The SUN details are the same as the details for the other FL0W3R Mechz, and you can find that info (updated with the corresponding SUN images) on the previous blog post HERE.

UnBirthday Mailbox Tier 3 Day 3: CH3SHiRE Cat Mech

If you’re a Tier 3 member of the UnBirthday Card Collectors Club, you won’t want to miss out on capping your mailbox today! Inside, you will receive a fully-built CH3SHiRE Cat Mech that auto-deploys. You will also receive the Blueprint to rebuild it as many times as you like with the Cogs you’ve earned from Daily ZeeOps. To reiterate, the mailbox must be capped on July 3rd 00:01-23:59 MHQ time to receive the CH3SHiRE Cat.

Like the other Munzee Mechz, the CH3SHiRE Cat is a temporary POB. The CH3SHiRE Cat will remain on the map until it has been captured 5 times, as you can see below.

You can find these cloaked cats reappearing at the landing pads above every 6 hours or when captured.

CH3SHiRE Cats will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture a CH3SHiRE Cat on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same CH3SHiRE Cat visits you. CH3SHiRE Cats are non-blastable. They will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access them by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When a CH3SHiRE Cat is captured, it will scatter up to 3 Floating Heads.

These scatters will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Mech owner’s account. This means that unlike Air Mystery Feathers/Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! NEW Bouncer Destination! The teaPOB!

Tier 3 UnBirthday Card Collectors Club Members should receive this new gamepiece as soon as they cap their UnBirthday Mailbox! Like the tPOB Pub and the Scrap Star, the teaPOB is a temporary virtual Bouncer Destination!

Otherwise, if you’re not a Tier 3 UBCCC Member, expect to see the teaPOB in the Freeze Tag Online Store later on!

NEW teaPOB Details

Why use a teaPOB? This extra special munzee has the following awesome advantages:

  • Perfect for travelers who may want the benefits of a tPOB Pub, but for an even shorter time
  • Quick and high points
  • Easy access to multiple tPOB caps at once
  • The ability to share the love with other tPOB owners
  • Achieve tPOB Clan Wars requirements quicker

Here is some other info that should be useful to you:

  • Attracts up to 6 tPOBs over time
  • Stays on the map for 3 days
  • Automatically magnetized when 1st deployed
    • Is magnetizable afterwards
  •  Points:

    • Cap: 10 points + points for tPOBs in the teaPOB at the time of capture.
    • CapOn: 50 points
  • Can be capped once per player per 24 hour MHQ day
    • New tPOB landings do NOT refresh the capture setting
  • The regular tPOB timer is still in effect. If a tPOB times out, it leaves the teaPOB and an open spot becomes available for others
  • Players will see the base icon above for 0, but then a 1-6 as more tPOBs stop by

The deploy circle for teaPOB will be 4,000 feet (1219.2 m) from the nearest Temporary Bouncer Destination. Capture radius is 1000 feet.

To access the teaPOB, turn on your Virtual filter and find it under “Destinations”. If the teaPOB is hosting munzees, it can also be visible with the “All Expiring Specials” filter.
