Swing by and check out the new and improved Munzee Calendar to check out upcoming events and to submit your own! Our newest employee, Judy (along with some great design work by other members of the team), did a great job, and we’ve got a lot of new changes to the Munzee website in store!

Last week, we announced that the Top 100 Clans from July would receive Jewel Prize Packs and that during the month of August, a clan would be chosen at random every day to receive a prize pack. We’ve got some more information for you on those plus the Emerald sale.
Top 100 Clans
Each member of the top 100 clans from last month was awarded a prize pack this morning. This pack included 3 Diamond credits, 3 Ruby credits, and 4 Aquamarine credits. Congratulations to those clans!
August Clans
Every day throughout the month, an active clan will be randomly chosen to receive a Jewel Prize Pack. The winners for each day will be posted on the Announcements page of the Munzee website and pushed as a notification through the Munzee app, so keep an eye out!
Emerald Pin Sale
As a reminder, the remaining Emeralds from the Birthday Gardens will go on sale at 15:00 MHQ time today. There is a limit of one per person. The original blog post has been updated to reflect this.
Have fun with Clan Wars, and Munzee on!

Updated to include per person limit.
If you hadn’t noticed, some new Emerald Gardens popped up over the course of Birthday Month. These new gardens were tied to Birthday events as prizes, and during the course of the month, we had to make some adjustments to them due to the massive amount of Birthday Party attendees. In doing so, we overestimated a bit and are now left with a few incomplete gardens. We’re opening up those remaining spots to everyone!
Tomorrow are 15:00 MHQ time, Emerald Garden Pins will be back in the store. They are $10, and you will be randomly assigned an Emerald in one of the gardens. This sale is open to everyone, but there is a limited quantity available. There is also a limit of ONE PER PERSON. This link will go live at sale time. You can also see all of the Official MHQ Emerald Gardens here.
If you were unable to attend a Birthday Event, or you just want an Emerald Munzee, this is your chance!

Sadly, this is the last weekend of Birthday Month. While we hate to watch the celebration come to an end, we know there are bigger and better things to come. In full Munzee spirit, though, we’ve decided to go all out this weekend. If you weren’t aware, we started a Double Point Weekend this morning at 00:01 MHQ time. Of course, that’s not all.
For the remainder of Birthday Month, we’ve also updated the Birthday Specials. We’ve made two big changes to them:
So get out there and help us end Birthday Month with a bang! Have fun, and Munzee on!

It’s been almost a month since the Dragons unleashed their fury upon the Munzee map. Traversing the globe and igniting fires has led to chaos among the other two Mythological Munzees. They say beauty comes from chaos, though, and we have stumbled upon some of that beauty.
Among the riches that the Dragons were guarding, we found a never before seen gem. This diamond is believe to have been altered by the fire and strength of the Dragons. It gleams a light shade and has become known as the Pink Diamond. While the history of the Pink Diamond isn’t completely known, we do know the point structure of it:
Deploy: 45 points
Capture: Split of 25 points with owner; minimum of 5 points
CapOn: Split of 25 points with capper; minimum of 5 points
(Examples: 20 points for capper, 5 points for owner; 10 points for capper, 15 points for owner)
The rarity of the Pink Diamond is similar to the Topaz Munzee. As such, the Pink Diamond will be a MunzPak exclusive. It will be introduced for the first time in August’s MunzPak. If you’re not yet a MunzPak subscriber, you can visit https://www.munzee.com/munzpak to join and be one of the first players to get your hands on one!
Have fun hunting the new Pink Diamond, and Munzee on!
