To make the most of this shimmering season, you’ll need a Shimmering Star Mailbox to unlock 31 days of daily deliveries, crystal-filled encounters, and cosmic rewards. Your Mailbox begins its run on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 — packed with treasures gathered from fallen meteors, hidden geodes, and sparkling celestial caches. Alongside Cappy, you’ll excavate starstones, defend your dazzling deliveries from gem-hungry monsters, and maybe even uncover a powerful jewel-forged surprise!

How the Shimmering Star Mailbox Works
Starting Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 at 00:01 MHQ, each day you cap your Shimmering Star Mailbox you will be awarded a different themed Greeting Card capture, similar to the other mailboxes. Please note that you’ll only be able to earn that specific card on that day, so you really don’t want to miss a day. Once you cap that card you’ll earn points, and you may also get some extra prizes! The Shimmering Star Mailbox is available for $25 and includes the following:
- 1 Shimmering Star Mailbox to deploy and move around anywhere at anytime!
- 1 Daily Capture of the mailbox each MHQ day starting on June 22nd or when first deployed, which should help with keeping up your streaks!
- 31 Mailbox Prize Days starting on July 1st and ending on July 31st, which will deliver the goodies below when captured, including Cards, Zeds, Munzees to deploy and more!
- 31 Themed Greeting Cards to both CAPTURE and DEPLOY!
- 1 Twinkl Twinkl Widdl Star (Level 10) deployed when capturing the mailbox on July 1st
- Exclusive access to BONUS Point Events

NEW Twinkl Twinkl Widdl Star Details
Like the Widdl Zombie, the Twinkl Twinkl Widdl Star is no ordinary Widdl — it’s already maxed out at Level 10, so you’ll be raking in those high-tier points right from the start! Plus, you can redeploy this widdl directly from a Wishing Well for just 25 Stars, just like your other Level 10 Widdlz. As a reminder, this is a temporary POB that will remain on the map for 5 days.

This Widdl can be spotted on the landing pads listed above every 1 hour or when captured.
This Widdl will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture this Widdl on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same Widdl visits you. This Widdl is non-blastable. It will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access this Widdl by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.
Well Wisp Scatter Bonus
When this Widdl is captured, it will scatter a Well Wisp nearby to start a trail. These are the same Well Wisps from the Daily Stroll, which will be deployed on the Wishmaster account.

These scatters will only be visible to the capper and expire after 120 minutes. They have a capture radius of 300 feet.

- Shimmering Star Mailbox Deploy Badge — deploying a Shimmering Star Mailbox will earn you a special badge that you can see below.
- Shimmering Star Mailbox Card Capture Badges — capture at least 1 of each unique Shimmering Star Mailbox card! We’ll keep what these look like a secret for now.
- Twinkl Twinkl Widdl Star Badge — deploying a Twinkl Twinkl Widdl Star will earn you the corresponding badge that you can also see below!
