Ye’ Leap Day Loot is Finally Here!
This year, we’re kicking off the celebrations with a ye’ lilypad LEAP for this Leap Year! If you want to join the fun, you’ll need to get froggy on Leap Day to catch these flashMObs. Why? Because PiRibbit has gone hopping mad, teaming up with Pogo Pirate after spending four years lurking in the abyss of the sea, gearing up for their long-awaited day in battle! This lively pirate pair is available from Wednesday, February 28th at 00:01 MHQ through Thursday, February 29th at 23:59 MHQ.
You’ve struck gold, or should we say, the green! As an extra treat, you’ll also rake in 4x the Greenies during this Leap Day sea skirmish!

If you’ve captured all the munzees near you, you’ll be happy to discover that your map has been plundered with the mateys of mayhem! These FlashMOB work just like last year’s Punching Pillows FlashMOB, and (nearly) ALL Greenies and Virtual Colors will have the “mask munzees” shown below applied to them.

What we mean by “mask munzee” is that they appear on top of a host munzee, similar to a bouncing munzee, but once capped, they do NOT bounce anywhere else. You have “removed” the mask.
Special Scatter Details
And what’s the aftermath of catching a pirate? They wriggle free from your grip and scatter, leaving chaos in their wake. PiRibbit will leave behind 1-3 Seaweed Slimeballs, while Pogo Pirate will drop 1-3 Jolly Dodgerballs nearby! Keep your wits about you, mate, so you don’t become their next target!
