We’re excited to reveal the Garden of the Month (GOTM) themes for all of 2027, giving you a chance to look ahead and start dreaming up your designs. With the themes in hand well in advance, you can sketch out your ideas, gather your fellow Munzee players, and bring your gardens to life!

📅 GOTM 2027 Monthly Themes
For 2027, we’ve mostly moved away from seasonal and holiday-focused themes in favor of ideas that can inspire amazing gardens any time of year — giving you more flexibility to create whenever inspiration strikes!

January 2027 — Games & Play 🎮
Kick off the year with all things fun! Think board games, chess pieces, playing cards, dice, arcade machines, video game controllers, puzzles, toys, or your favorite classic games.
February 2027 — Hidden Treasures 💎
Go on an adventure! Create gardens featuring pirate ships, treasure chests, maps, jewels, crowns, ancient relics, gold coins, or anything you might hope to discover.
March 2027 — Birds of a Feather 🐦
Let your creativity take flight! Design gardens inspired by birds of every kind — owls, parrots, flamingos, penguins, peacocks, nests, feathers, eggs, or even birdhouses.
April 2027 — Bloom & Blossom 🌸
Celebrate spring with colorful floral creations! Think flowers, bouquets, bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, flower pots, wreaths, vines, or beautiful garden scenes.
May 2027 — Turn It Up 🎵
Bring the music! Design guitars, pianos, drums, microphones, headphones, speakers, vinyl records, music notes, concert stages, or anything inspired by sound and performance.
June 2027 — Furry Friends 🐾
Celebrate our favorite furry companions! Think dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, bears, foxes, squirrels, or any other furry creatures that bring a smile to your face.
July 2027 — Reach for the Stars 🚀
Blast off into space! Build rockets, astronauts, planets, satellites, telescopes, constellations, shooting stars, aliens, UFOs, or anything inspired by the night sky.
August 2027 — Fun & Games 🎡
Visit the fair! Design roller coasters, Ferris wheels, carnival games, water parks, circuses, mini golf, bumper cars, cotton candy, popcorn, or amusement park attractions.
September 2027 — Country Living 🚜
Celebrate life on the farm! Think barns, tractors, scarecrows, corn stalks, hay bales, windmills, farm animals, orchards, pumpkins, or cozy rural landscapes.
October 2027 — Myth & Magic 🧙
Enter a world of fantasy! Create dragons, unicorns, phoenixes, mermaids, fairies, wizards, spell books, magic potions, enchanted castles, or legendary creatures.
November 2027 — Favorite Foods 🍕
Bring your appetite! Design pizza, burgers, tacos, sushi, pasta, desserts, breakfast favorites, fruits, vegetables, local specialties, or your favorite comfort foods.
December 2027 — Sparkle & Shine ✨
End the year with a little extra magic! Think holiday lights, candles, stars, ornaments, lanterns, snowflakes, crystals, diamonds, fireworks, or anything that glows and shines.
