Yesterday, we said there were more updates coming to the Munzee Referral Program, and we’ve got another one for you today: Munzee Referral Cards.
We want to make it as easy as possible for you to spread the word about Munzee and be rewarded for doing so. These cards will include your personal Referral code so you can print them out and use as needed. Munzee Referral Cards can be found for free in the Munzee Online Store. Here’s what you need to do:
After purchase, you will receive three emails: Check out confirmation, shipping confirmation, and a final email that includes a Referral Card with your referral code on it. Note: The final email will be sent to the email address associated with your Munzee account. This may not necessarily be the email you use to check out in the store, so be sure to check that one.
Print out the Custom Referral Card, and start introducing people!
We’ve been working behind the scenes to improve and expand the Munzee Referral Program, and we’re happy to introduce one of the new features: leaderboards!
There are four new leaderboards that relate to referrals: Monthly Referral Points, Overall Referral Points, Monthly Referrals, and Overall Referrals. These can be found under the “Leaderboards” tab on the navigation bar of the website. You can also use these direct links — Referral Points and Referrals.
We are still working on other new features and aspects of the Referral Program, so keep an eye out for more announcements!
This year’s internal MHQ theme is “All In”, so what better way to apply that than a casino themed MHQ Bash! Last year we had a ton of fun at MHQ Bash 3, but we’re kicking it up a notch for our Four-Of-A-Kind fourth year!
As a refresher, this year’s Bash will take place Friday, September 22nd through Sunday, September 24th in McKinney, TX.
The tentative* schedule is as follows:

6pm: Registration and Casino Night
Saturday, September 23rd
10am: All-In Eventzee Hunt
5pm: Oktoberfest in Downtown McKinney
Sunday, September 24th
9am: MunzFit 2.0 and Goodbye Event

Packages
There are four packages available for this year’s MHQ Bash: Royal Flush, Full House, Flush, Ace High.
***To guarantee availability of all items in packages, online registration will close on August 11th, 2017 at 15:00 MHQ time. Packages will be available for purchase at the event, but we cannot guarantee all items will be available.***
***Please purchase only one package per person who will be attending. Everyone must have at least the Ace High package. If you have a joint account, please purchase a package for each person (they do not have to be the same package).***
In March we celebrated our favorite color- GREEN. We also gave back to some wild friends with the help of our players, announced some birthday plans, crashed at a couple hotels and updated the app.

We kicked off the month with Safar-Zee, a fundraising effort focused on helping wildlife worldwide. For the month of March we sold Paw Print special virtual icons with proceeds going to help wildlife rescue organizations. As always our players showed their enthusiasm from the start and have already helped In-Sync Exotics and our newly adopted tiger Mystery.
The special Paw Prints will be on the map through 23:59 MHQ Time on April 30, 2017. The virtual garden above In-Sync is permanent.
Greet Garfield in Munzee, IN!
This month we announced some of Munzee’s 6th Birthday celebration plans to take over Muncie, Indiana and turn it into Munzee, Indiana! Join Rob the weekend of July 21st for a number of fun events including a trip to the Delaware County Fair! Rob will also be visited by a certain fat cat who is pretty popular around those parts.
Munzee Gone GREEN
We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day weekend in full force with a triple point weekend on some of our favorite green munzees, expediated Leprechauns and a limited time Leprechaun badge line!
Needless to say, our players made the most of the weekend and Saturdaywas in the Top 10 Overall days of both captures and deploys.
At Your Service
While February kept players busy capturing the treacherous Jewel Thief on precious stones, in March a new stealthy fella began roaming the halls of Hotels and Motels worldwide.
He claims he’s just here to help you with your bags though, so be sure to leave a tip for the new Bellhop Nomad Munzee!
The up-Dating Game
This month we updated Munzee to version 3.3.2. Be sure to update your app to make the most of the following new features.
Changes to the Own Socials list to fit overall look and feel.
Added the ability to deploy Socials from the player’s Details page.
Fixed photo submission issues for Places Munzees.
Added the ability to choose between select installed navigation apps.
Added a quick way to reset and activate all filters.
Updated the scanner.
Updated translations.
Minor bug fixes and improvements.

In March we kicked off ZeeOps and for the last month our players have taken down the Mean Green Gang and stopped their giant jewel-powered laser! An agent’s job is never done though, so prepare for another month of twists and turns.
The Mean Green Gang is using Top Secret Fire and Ice technology to wreak havoc across the world and it’s up to you to stop them. Certain Missions this month will require you to capture and deploy Fire and Ice Mystery Munzees. Your success in stopping the Mean Green Gang’s continued attacks has caught the eye of a mysterious group known only as R.U.M. This group of authorized resellers will outfit you with everything you need, but it’s up to you to prove you’re worthy.
April’s ZeeOps Operations are now live and you can begin planning your Missions to start on the following day. You can plan your Operations at munzee.com/ops/and purchase more ZeeCredin the Munzee Online Store.
This month’s Missions are as follows:
LEVEL 1: Basic Training- Earn at least 500 points. Defensive Training- Deploy at least 10 munzees. Cargo Retrieval Training- Capture at least 20 munzees. Hazardous Materials Training- Capture at least 1 Fire or Ice Mystery Munzee. NOTE that burning or frozen munzees will not count. Tactical Preparedness Training- Capture at least 5 Mystery Munzees.
LEVEL 2: Group Training- Earn at least 500 cap-on points. Arms Dealer Operations- Capture at least 5 RUMs of any type. Frostbitten Flames- Capture at least 10 Fire and/or Ice Mystery Munzees. NOTE that burning or frozen munzees will not count. Chill Out- Deploy at least 5 Ice Mystery Munzees. NOTE that scattered frozen munzees will not count. Virtual Surreality- Capture at least 100 virtual munzees of any type.
LEVEL 3: Advanced Training- Earn at least 10,000 points. Hot And Cold- Capture at least 20 Fire and/or Ice Mystery Munzees. NOTE that burning or frozen munzees will not count. From The Outside In- Deploy at least 50 greenies. Shady Dealings- Capture at least one RUM from 5 different Resellers. Virtual Virus- Capture at least 500 virtual munzees of any type.
LEVEL 4: Expert Training- Earn at least 50,000 points. Reseller Redemption- Deploy at least 10 RUMs of any type. A Unified Front- Capture at least 200 physical type munzees. Fight Fire With Fire- Deploy at least 5 Fire Mystery Munzees and 5 Ice Mystery Munzees. NOTE that burning or frozen munzees will not count. Watch The World Burn- Capture at least 10 Fire Mystery Munzees and at least 10 Ice Mystery Munzees. NOTE that burning or frozen munzees will not count.
Completing Operations will give you some hard earned rewards as well.
This month’s rewards are:
Basic Op Rewards: 1 motel, 1 aquamarine, 2 virtuals and 2 virtual colors, with 5 Zee Creds
Advanced Op Rewards: 1 motel, 1 hotel, 2 aquamarines, 2 MVM and 2 virtual colors, with 10 Zee Creds
Mega Op Rewards: 1 motel, 1 hotel, 1 resort, 3 aquamarines, 1 surprise, 5 MVM and 5 virtual colors, with 25 Zee Creds
Ultra Op Rewards: 2 motel, 2 hotel, 2 resort, 5 aquamarine, 2 surprise, 5 MVM and 5 virtual colors, with 50 Zee Creds
Although you will surely be busy this month, it’s important to brush up on your skills as well. We have introduced a new Cadet Op for training new ZeeOps agents. This Operation is free, but you can only complete it once. The Cadet Op will be available to plan on April 1st- no we’re not fooling around.

These badges are for capturing Zodiac Munzees. These are hidden badges, so you won’t see the requirements for the following badges until you earn the previous ones!
These badges are retroactive and will begin awarding now (10:00 MHQ time)!
Through Wednesday, March 15th at 23:59 MHQ time, we will be taking suggestions for Zoo Places Munzee locations. These locations can be zoos, wildlife preserves, or animal sanctuaries. We will compile the suggestions and begin deploying these new Places Munzees during the month of March.
All you have to do is go to this Google Form and provide your username, the name of the proposed location, and the coordinates of the location.
February showed us a lot of love! We released some awesome new coinz, had some great specials and announced a new operation we’ve put way more than 1,000 hours into.

At long last we are proud to announce the creation of ZeeOps- single player campaign missions to complete for rewards. These Operations work much like individual Clan Wars, but feature a range of Mission difficulty levels that require a variety of Munzee skills.
This February love was in the air- love of chocolate that is. We released Chocloate Heart Boxes that released three different kinds of chocolate when capped. Capping all three earned players an empty box of chocolate badge. Whether you had a Valentine or not, MHQ wanted to make sure you got something sweet!
Furry Forest Friends
This month 1,500 Faun Mythological Munzees scurried onto the map to greenies and Earth Mystery Munzees worldwide.The first of our Classical Mythological Munzee set, these furry forest dwellers are attracted to Earth Mystery Munzees, which were also released this month.
Easter will be here before we know it, so we gleefully announced that the whole of April is open for you to host and attend Munzee Tea Parties! The inspiration for these came from all round the world, so thank you for letting us know about your Easter and spring traditions.
Be sure to get your event on the Munzee Calendar ASAP because there will be an art work deadline in a couple of weeks based on demand.
Hidden In Plain Sight
We’ve added some new Urban Camo munzees to the Online Store! These new designs are perfect for hiding the game pieces in public without worrying about them getting ripped up.These four new designs are available now for $7.50 for 20 stickers.
First off, we want to thank you for your patience over the past few days. Scott and Daniel, along with our AWS partner, have been working nonstop to get everything back up and running properly.
As you can imagine, Rob is a bit worn out after this week and is ready for a break. He can’t just step away, though, so he’s leaving Flat Rob to look over the map. Starting tomorrow (March 3rd) at 00:01 MHQ time, Flat Robs will be on the map. This will last through Sunday, March 5th, at 23:59 MHQ time.
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE.

With the release of the Scatter Munzee Badges a few weeks ago, of course the SCATTERED weren’t too far behind! This new line of badges is for capturing the ever exploding munzees that are sent out after initially capturing a Scatter Munzee.
Similar to the mad Scatter badges, the Scattered badges depict just how overwhelming it can be when more than a few get loose.
