Celebrate the changing seasons with EQUiN0X Duo Mechz!

Here in North America daylight savings time just hit and we had to Fall back, which means we only have a few more weeks left of Autumn! To celebrate the ever-changing zeesons we have an all new Duo Mech set inspired by the Fall and Spring Equinoxes! Much like our Y1N and Y4NG Mechz the all new SPR33NG and FR33 FALL Mechz can join forces to control the seasons around the world (for half the year anyways). Read on to learn more!

SPR33NG, FR33 FALL, and EQUiN0X Details

Like the other Munzee Mechz, the SPR33NG, FR33 FALL, and EQUiN0X are temporary POBs. The SPR33NG and FR33 FALL will remain on the map until they have been captured 5 times, while the EQUiN0X will remain on the map until it has been captured 3 times. Once the Mechz reach their capture limit they will be “sprung out,” “squashed,” or in “spring cleaning” mode respectively, which results in more points for the capper.

You have the option of purchasing the FR33 FALL in the Freeze Tag Store HERE and the SPR33NG in the In-App Store for 750 Zeds. They’ll be in the stores until the new Winter season rolls around 12:00 MHQ on Thursday, December 21st. Both will automatically deploy on your account upon purchase, and you’ll be able to rebuild them for 7 Cogs each. As for the EQUiN0X Mech, the only way to deploy it is by deploying both the SPR33NG and FR33 FALL Mechz within the same MHQ day. Once you’ve met this requirement, a new EQUiN0X Mech will be deployed on your account.

These Mechz will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture a SPR33NG, FR33 FALL, or EQUiN0X on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same SPR33NG, FR33 FALL, or EQUiN0X visits you. These munzees will not be blastable. They will be attracted to magnets, available from the Freeze Tag Online Store. You can access these Mechz under the “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When a SPR33NG is captured, it will scatter up to 3 ProPetals. Similarly, when a FR33 FALL is captured, it will scatter up to 3 GourDarts. The EQUiN0X will scatter 1 ProPetal and 1 GourDart.

Points:

• Capture: 50
• CapOn: 25

These scatters will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Mech owner’s account. This means that unlike Air Mystery Feathers/Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes and have a capture radius of 300 feet. These scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

As with other Munzee Mechz, the badges for deploying the SPR33NG and FR33 FALL depict the Blueprints, and are shown below:

There are 4 more badges associated with these Mechz: the first is for deploying a EQUiN0X Mech. The remaining 3 are for capturing each of these Mechz. We’ll keep these badges a secret for now.

It’s the Great Pumpkin Evolution!

It’s the spooky season and a time honored tradition is to get a pumpkin and carve a Jack O’Lantern. These gourds are also used to make a special pumpkin pie many Americans associate with the fall and other traditional holiday celebrations. MHQ is proud to bring the Pumpkin Evo into our Farm Set Evolutions and is available now through the Freeze Tag Store!

Here’s an example of one of the stage 5 bouncer options!

We’ve also made an adjustment to streaks and now ALL Evolution Munzees with bouncers (Pumpkin, Bees, Turtles, etc) will earn a deploy for the day the bouncer is spawned. This means that you’ll want to take advantage of Evo Reset Credits in order to get the most out of your Evolution Munzees!

NEW Farm Set Evolution Munzee

This Evolution is a bit different from the previous Farm Set Evolutions, as there are 5 stages total, versus the usual 3. Here is an explanation of the timeframe for this munzee.

• Stage 1 to Stage 2: after 5 days (5 days total)
• Stage 2 to Stage 3: after 14 days (19 days total)
• Stage 3 to Stage 4: after 56 days (75 days total)
• Stage 4 permanent on map unless Reset to stage one
• Stage 5 will exist for 45 days or 10 captures, whichever happens first, at which time the temporary Pumpkin POB will be archived.

Once these Evolutions reach Stage 4, a temporary POB will be launched, which is Stage 5. The three variants of Stage 5 Pumpkins will bounce to both physical and virtual landing pads every 8 hours. They have the option of emerging as one of the three different species shown below:

Once Stage 5 is reached on the 75th day, it will remain that way on the map — unless of course, it is reset with an Evolution Reset Credit.

The point values for the pumpkin fall in line with other 5 stage evolution types.
