🍦 NEW Build-A-Bouncers Let You Customize Every Bit 🧩
Ready to build a Bouncer that’s uniquely yours? Build-A-Bouncer Munzees are here, giving you the freedom to mix, match, and customize your very own player-owned bouncing (POB) Munzee using a collection of interchangeable Bits! You may already be familiar with changing the look of certain Bouncers using skins or variants, but Build-A-Bouncers take customization to a whole new level. Instead of swapping out one complete look, you’ll be able to choose individual Bits to create a combination all your own!
We’re kicking things off with the Build-A-Pop, a deliciously customizable creation inspired by everyone’s favorite frozen treats! Choose a flavor, pick the perfect expression, drizzle on some sauce, pile on the toppings, and more to build a Pop with plenty of personality. And these cool creations have a brand new place to chill — we’re also launching the Sweet Treats POI today, which will serve as one of the landing pads for Build-A-Pops bouncing around the map!
But don’t fill your freezer just yet—this is only the beginning! More Build-A-Bouncer designs are planned for the future, and you may even see some fresh toppings joining the Build-A-Pop lineup in the coming weeks. The possibilities are only getting sweeter!
Meet the Build-A-Pop!
The Build-A-Pop is a permanent Player Owned Bouncer, which means once you purchase one, it’s yours to keep! Players can purchase up to two Build-A-Pops, so you’ll have the opportunity to send multiple unique creations bouncing around the map.

Build It Your Way With Bouncer Bits!
Every Build-A-Pop is made up of interchangeable Bouncer Bits, or simply Bits, which allow you to customize individual parts of its design. There are six different areas you can customize on your Build-A-Pop:

- 👀 Eyes
- 🍇 Sauces
- 💎 Toppings
Mix and match your favorite Bits to create something sweet, silly, strange, stylish, or completely unexpected!
Your Build-A-Pop’s design isn’t permanent either. Feel like switching flavors? Want to give it a new expression? Ready to pile on a different topping? You can return to the customization screen and change your selected Bits whenever you’d like.
If you own two Build-A-Pops, your unlocked Bits can be used to customize both of them, while each Pop can have its own individual design.
There Are Plenty of Bits to Discover!
A big part of the Build-A-Bouncer experience is growing your collection of Bits over time. There are several different ways to unlock them:
- 🍧 Standard Bits: A selection of Standard Bits is included with your Build-A-Pop purchase, so you’ll have plenty of options to start building your first design right away! There are 23 different Standard Bits included with the Build-A-Pop purchase on launch. Here’s a preview of some of the free options below:

- 🏅 Achievement Bits: Some extra-special Bits can only be unlocked by completing specific achievements throughout the game! The first two are brand new badges that can be earned after launch. There are also a few tied to past badges – so if you’ve already earned them, you’ll unlock these Bits right away! There are 6 different Achievement Bits that can be earned at launch. Here’s a preview of them below:

Browse the available options in the Build-A-Pop customization screen, unlock your favorites, and start mixing them into your designs right away. We’ll continue introducing new Bits over time, so your Build-A-Pop collection can keep growing long after you’ve created your first design!
How Do I Customize My Build-A-Pop?
Once you’ve purchased your Build-A-Pop, there are several ways to open the customization screen and start designing.
- 📱 Munzee App: Open your Build-A-Pop from your Deployed Munzees list, then select Edit Design
- 📗 Munzdex: Open the Munzdex and navigate to Bouncers → Misc. Bouncers → Build-A-Bouncers → Build-A-Pop → My Build-A-Pop → Edit
- 💻 Munzee Website: Open your Build-A-Pop, select Edit Munzee, and find the Customize Design section.
- ☕ CuppaZee: Head to My Bouncers → Build-A-Pop → Customize Design
Once you’re in the builder, simply switch between the different Bit categories, select the options you’d like to use, preview your creation, and press Save when you’re happy with your design! Here’s a quick screenshot of the Edit Design button in the Munzee App below:

Discover Every Bit in the Munzdex!
With so many possible combinations bouncing around the map, you’ll want to keep an eye out for Build-A-Pops that look different from the ones you’ve already discovered. The MunzDex tracks the Build-A-Pop designs and individual Bits you’ve encountered through captures, giving collectors even more to hunt for!
Head to: Munzdex → Bouncers → Misc. Bouncers → Build-A-Bouncers → Build-A-Pop
There you’ll be able to keep tabs on the different Build-A-Pop creations and Bits you’ve discovered along the way. So even if you don’t own a particular Bit yourself, you’ll be able to track which ones you’ve captured on another player’s creation!
Keep Your Eyes Popped for Badges!
Building your own Pop is only part of the fun. There are also new Build-A-Pop badges to earn by deploying and discovering these colorful creations out in the wild! You can earn badges for additional milestones such as unlocking Bits and capturing unique Build-A-Pops belonging to other players.

Sweet Treats Deploy Guidelines
Sweet Treats: This Places Munzee is designed to highlight locations dedicated to desserts, candy, baked goods, and other sweet treats.
Valid locations include places such as ice cream or frozen dessert shops, candy stores, chocolate shops, bakeries, cake shops, pie shops, donut shops, and similar dessert-focused businesses.
The location should be primarily dedicated to selling sweets or desserts. Please do not deploy Sweet Treats POIs at restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, gas stations, cafes, or other general businesses simply because they also sell desserts or candy. If sweets are only one small part of what the location offers, it does not qualify. Save this POI for places where satisfying a sweet tooth is the main attraction!
The Sweet Treats POI must be deployed at least 2,000 ft away from others of the same type. Limited to one per account per 15 days, like the other Places.
