These board-game bots will make a move towards the landing pads listed above every 6 hours or when captured.

They will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture them on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same mech visits you. They are non-blastable. They will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access these mechz by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When a BishChop is captured, it will scatter up to 3 BishAxes on the Mech owner’s account. Similarly, when a RookStar is captured, it will scatter up to 3 RookGuitars on the Mech owner’s account.

As with other Munzee Mechz, the badge for deploying the BishChop and RookStar depicts the Blueprints. One example of each are shown below:

The galaxy is divided. A storm is brewing between two mighty factions—and only YOU can determine who will reign supreme! This May, we’re channeling the power of the Force and the Flat, as a fun rivalry unfolds between Rob (aka coachV), President of Munzee and leader of the ironclad ROB Republic, and SMS, our newest recruit known across the stars as Seemyshell, commander of the rogue SMS Squad!

Whose side will you take? Will you support the polished rules of the Republic or embrace the rebellious spirit of the Squad? Your captures and deploys will tip the balance! Follow the live action on the official ROB vs SMS Leaderboard, masterfully crafted by the legendary Sam of CuppaZee! The battle starts Thursday, May 1st at 00:01 MHQ and ends May 31st at 23:59 MHQ.

Join in the battle, help them climb the leaderboard, and score some sweet rewards along the way!

It’s time to align your loyalties! Here’s how it works: capture or deploy certain Munzee types to contribute points to either the ROB Republic (green) or the SMS Squad (blue). Every qualifying deploy and cap will influence the leaderboard—so choose wisely and play often!

  • The ROB Republic: Backed by the Royal Orbiting Bureaucracy Republic, this faction seeks order, structure, and perfect paperwork across the stars. Cheaters beware—this side plays by the rules.

  • The SMS Squad: The Starborn Marauder Smuggling Squad operates from the shadows, striking with cheeky confidence and Aussie charm. Expect the unexpected from this blue crew!

Submersible PakRat Details

The Submersible PakRat is the fourth PakRat, a NEW line of tPOBs which have the unique feature of requiring Twigz to rebuild, and earn Cogs for the owner upon archival. Think of them as the link between Widdlz and Mechz! Each month will see the release of a new PakRat launching exclusively through the MunzPak this year.

They will remain on the map until they have been captured 10 times. When you purchase a MunzPak, you will receive a fully-built Submersible PakRat that auto-deploys. For now, the Submersible PakRat will be available in this month’s MunzPak only — meaning the deadline to get one is 23:59 MHQ on Saturday, May 31st.
