ZeeOps- Operation: Outbreak Control (May 2020)

Agents, thanks to all the legwork you did last month, we’ve been able to identify some core components of the virus and prevent its spread to the remaining uninfected files. Now comes the tricky part — removing the virus from the infected files and salvaging what we can. Unfortunately, we found that the virus had not only spread through HQ, but to our overseas bases as well. Luckily, we have agents located all around the world to help combat it. We determined that the virus is particularly weak to extreme temperature changes, so you’ll notice a lot of Fire and Ice Mystery requirements below. However, the tech at HQ is not 100% weatherproof, so don’t overdo it!

In return for your assistance in cleaning the virus from our files, we’ve included a Stay Home Greeting Card Munzee as part of May’s rewards so you can warn friends or family who may be targeted by the virus. It’ll come direct from HQ, so that should be official enough for most to take notice!

May 2020 ZeeOps Operations are now live and you can begin planning your Missions to start on the following day. You will only have until May 31st at 23:59 MHQ to complete this month’s Operations. All four Operation types are available for this month- the Basic Op (3 days), the Advanced Op (7 days), the Mega Op (10 days), and the Ultra Op (14 days)! We hope this gives you something to do while you’re staying safe at home!

Level 1

Weapons Training – Capture at least 10 clan weapons.
Cargo Retrieval Training – Capture at least 20 munzees.
Hazardous Materials Training – Capture at least 1 Fire or Ice Mystery Munzee. NOTE that burning or frozen munzees will not count.
Re: Evolutionary Studies – Capture at least 15 physical or virtual Evolution Munzees.
Clan Classification – Capture at least 5 of ANY type of evolution munzee and at least 5 of any type of Clan Weapon

Level 2

Group Training – Earn at least 500 cap-on points.

ZeeOps- Operation: Lockdown (April 2020)

A few weeks ago, we announced that there would be no ZeeOps for the month of March. Like the rest of the world, ZeeOps HQ was caught off-guard by the spread of COVID-19. Agents were ordered to limit their time outdoors and prepare for remote assignments. But things never go as smoothly as we hope. Just as our March missions were ready to be released, a nasty new virus was detected in our computing systems, originating from a simple “Hello World” text file stored on an agent’s computer.

Luckily, Director Zee has successfully recovered thanks to all of your hard work in February and having the month of March off! Though he is a bit shaken from his recent experiences, he is ready to face this new threat and hopes he can rely on your support. While the order to limit your time outdoors is still in place, the staff at ZeeOps HQ have identified some core operations that you’ll be able to complete remotely to help identify the structure of this virtual virus and protect the currently uninfected files. Will you accept these missions?

ZeeOps- Operation: RE:vive (February 2020)

At the end of last year, ZeeOps HQ’s Neurological Memory Technology was under attack by The Rising Sons. Although it was believed that enemies had hacked ZeeOps HQ’s Neurological Memory Technology, it turns out it was a sleeper cell within our ranks. In fact it was the recently rescued Director Zee that forced agents to relive previous ZeeOps missions! It seems the Rising Sons really did a number on Director Zee…

Unfortunately, we’ve had to purge much of the corrupted data, and Director Zee is still on the mend after he was brainwashed by the Rising Sons. Although this is disheartening, we have found a silver lining: our training prompts appear to be jogging some of the Director’s memories! It’s up to you to help the Director regain control by reliving specific past missions. Can you revive the heart of ZeeOps HQ?

February 2020 ZeeOps Operations are now live and you can begin planning your Missions to start on the following day. You will only have until February 29th at 23:59 MHQ to complete this month’s Operations. There are only two Operation types available for this month- the Basic Op (3 days) and the Advanced Op (7 days). The window of time to complete missions may be shorter, but we believe in you!

ZeeOps- Operation: Glitch (December 2019)

Despite all odds, ZeeOps HQ has been given new life! Due to the success of Project: B.O.U.N.C.E.R. Director Zee has been rescued, and the enemy is one step closer to defeat. Together we can bring The Rising Sons to their knees, although it appears that the enemy’s stranglehold on HQ has made some messes.

ZeeOps scientists are investigating issues with the Neurological Memory Technology our recruits use for training. The system keeps glitching and Director Zee worries the enemy may be attacking from within. To stop this cyber attack you’ll have to complete a variety of past missions before the system is taken over completely.

LegaZeeOps- Operation: Pre:Evolution (June 2019)

Agents, ZeeOps HQ’s system has been hacked and all of our files on past missions have been erased! You’ll have to recreate past Operations in what we’re calling LegaZeeOps. It’s up to you to keep the legacy of this organization in tact. The missions for this month are the same that were originally available in June 2017’s Operations.

Agents, your hard work in May has paid off and the final factions of the Mean Green Gang have been dismantled. Although we’re always on the lookout for another uprising, it seems the reign of the Mean Green Gang has ended. The enemy has fallen, but your work is not done.

ZeeOps Scientists have started developing an evolutionary strain of munzees. These Evolution Munzees, also known as Evos, come in many forms. We’re still in the testing phase, but we need our agents to see how these Evos react in the real world. It is up to you to capture and deploy a variety of these Evos for the sake of science.

June 2019 ZeeOps Operations are now live and you can begin planning your Missions to start on the following day. LegaZeeOps- Operation: The End

The final moves are about to be played. The war between the First Clan and The Rising Sons has come to a head and the safety of the world hangs in the balance. To make matter worse The Zodiac Vigilante and his hoard of Evolution Munzees are fighting back. The Vigilante has joined forces with the R.U.M. and the Mean Green Gang, whose aggressive tactics are a danger to civilians.

The final chapter of this ongoing war is upon us and it’s up to ZeeOps Agents worldwide to join together!

LegaZeeOps- Operation: Repeat

In an attempt to prepare for the oncoming war between the First Clan and The Rising Sons, ZeeOps scientists are researching the battle patterns of the Zodiac Vigilante. Utilizing Neurological Memory Technology we need you to relive your previous battles with the enemy.

It appears that while testing the Neurological Memory Technology to recreate past battles, someone has hacked the system. This must be the work of the Zodiac Vigilante, but be careful though, whoever is controlling this could recreate other past missions as well…

January 2019 ZeeOps Operations are now live and you can begin planning your Missions to start on the following day. You can plan your Operations at munzee.com/ops/ and purchase more ZeeCred in the Freeze Tag Online Store. Remember that if you hit a snag at any point in your Operation you can use the new Mission Mulligan feature to keep going!

Since this month is focused on Zodiac Munzees be sure to stock up on Zodiac credits in the online store.

By completing any Operation this month you’ll earn the new* “LegaZeeOps- Operation: Repeat” badge.

*Due to requests from the community all LegaZeeOps badges will now be different from the badge earned during the initial run of the month’s Operations. So players who earned the “Operation: Repeat” badge in June 2018 can also earn the “LegaZeeOps- Operation: Repeat” badge as well by completing a January 2019 Operation.

I’m Dreaming Of A Flat Christmas!

Flat Santa needs your help! His Flat Flying Reindeer have escaped across the world and it’s up to you to help him capture them!

Flat Christmas specials are now live on the map for everyone (Advent Calendar purchasers got early access to this special on Sunday) and will remain available until December 26 at 23:59 MHQ. There are quite a few different specials, so check out a breakdown of each below!

Flat Santa Specials
1,100 Flat Santas bounce to Greenies every 6 hours or when captured. When a Flat Santa is captured the player will either be awarded 76 points or Flat Santa will award “presents” like a Prize Wheel Munzee. These are attracted to physical Munzee Magnets.

Virtual Reindeer Specials
999 Reindeer Virtual Specials, 111 of each type, that bounce to regular Virtual Munzees and Flat Friends Munzees. These are attracted to Virtual Munzee Magnets on regular Virtuals. They are not blastable.

Rover, The Other Reindeer Special
One Rover Reindeer Special bounces to Greenies every 6 hours or when captured. This little guy is attracted to Munzee Magnets, but he’ll be tough to find!

CapOn: 100There will be badges for capping each of the specials, so your safest bet is to just capture one of each! There are five badges total, think you can earn them all? These will all also count towards the Specials Badges and players can capture these on their own munzees. Since Reindeer bounce to Flat Friends all Flat Munzees will be active through the duration of the specials.

It’s already proven to be a very busy December, but we still have a few surprises up our sleeves! You can still purchase an Advent Calendar by 12/17, so jump on that before it’s too late.
