After choosing some of your creative ideas to make the previous batch of cards, our minds wandered to other lands, both real and imagined, that served as the settings for some classic stories. Check out the unique designs for each iconic location below!

Around ZEE World Mailbox Schedules

One especially good thing we learned from Sir Prize Santa is that knowing when the Double Point Weekends and Special Themed Scatter Events are is most helpful in deciding whether or not the mailbox is right for you. So, without further ado, here are the schedules for the Around ZEE World Mailbox!

While we’ll reveal the Tiers and Dates to help you plan, we’ll just reveal what will be scattering for the first event:

A NEW Mini Mailbox for Around ZEE World Bash!

Yesterday, we announced our plans for the Around ZEE World Bash next month! As you’ve probably guessed, we were inspired by Jules Verne’s classic novel — but instead of 80 days to celebrate, we’ve gone with 8 ZEE-Dayz to make things a bit more manageable, as you’ll see below. If you were a fan of the UnBirthday Card Collectors Club or Valentines Card Collectors Club, here’s another club you’re sure to love! We are excited to introduce the Around ZEE World Mailbox, which you’re able to purchase starting NOW in the Freeze Tag Online Store!

We’re doing something a little different this time — expect a surprise inside every Saturday and Sunday from September 10 to October 2! Like the UBCCC, Club members will receive virtual items only.

Mail Call!

You’ll need an Around ZEE World Mailbox Munzee to receive your goodies! While they’ll only arrive on the weekends as mentioned above, you can continue to cap the mailbox on weekdays (helpful to keep streaks up!) as you can see below:

When you deploy this new game piece nearby it will only be visible to AND cappable by you. IT MUST BE DEPLOYED IN APP! To ensure that you are able to capture this new game piece each day, you’ll also be able to update its location if you’ll be traveling at any point during the mailbox period. You can only move the mailbox in app and do NOT need to undeploy first. We really don’t want you to miss out! It is very important you capture it each weekend.

The mailbox can be captured up to 1000 feet away and is found under the Virtuals filter but ONLY visible to the OWNER. It will be archived after October 2nd.

How the Around ZEE World Mailbox Works

Starting September 10th at 00:01 MHQ, each weekend you cap your Around ZEE World Mailbox you will be awarded a different Around ZEE World-themed Greeting Card capture, similar to the UBCCC. Please note that you’ll only be able to earn that specific card on that day, so you really don’t want to miss a day. Once you cap that card you’ll earn points, and you may also get some extra prizes!

As this is a mini Mailbox, there is only 1 Club Membership you can purchase HERE. As stated above, you can deploy the Around ZEE World Mailbox right away and get 10 days of extra caps before the actual mailbox period starts!

  • Around ZEE World Card Collectors Club is available for $10 and includes the NEW Around ZEE World Mailbox, which will deliver 8 Greeting Card munzees for you to capture PLUS a matching Around ZEE World Card each day for you to deploy, maybe near a friend? That’s 8 new cards to deploy on top of the 8 you can cap! You’ll also get some special bonuses scattered throughout the mailbox period, which could be double points days, exclusive specials or scatters to cap, credits or undeployed munzees, etc. Lastly, you’ll also get a NEW H0t A1r Balloon Mech!

If you’re interested, you can purchase it in the FT Store! You will still be able to purchase these Club Memberships into September, but you won’t be able to earn rewards from the days that have passed. We suggest purchasing your Club Membership as soon as possible to start learning the mysteries of the mailbox and prepare for September fun!

H0t A1r Balloon Mech Details

Like the other Munzee Mechz, the H0t A1r Balloon is a temporary POB. The H0t A1r Balloon will remain on the map until it has been captured 5 times, as you can see below. You will receive a fully-built H0t A1r Balloon that will auto-deploy on 00:01 MHQ on September 10th. You will also receive the Blueprint to rebuild it when you have earned enough Cogs in the future.

Landing Pads

You can find these balloon bots floating to the landing pads above every 6 hours or when captured.

H0t A1r Balloons will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture a H0t A1r Balloon on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same H0t A1r Balloon visits you. H0t A1r Balloons are non-blastable. They will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access them by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When a H0t A1r Balloon is captured, it will scatter up to 3 PYROpellars.

These scatters will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Mech owner’s account. This means that unlike Air Mystery Feathers/Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes and have a capture radius of 300 feet. These scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

There are 4 badge lines associated with this launch:

  • Around ZEE World Mailbox deploy badge — deploying a Around ZEE World Mailbox will earn you a special badge that you can see below.
  • Around ZEE World Mailbox Card capture badges — capture at least 1 of each unique Around ZEE World Mailbox card! We’ll keep what these look like a secret for now.
  • H0t A1r Balloon deploy badge — deploying a H0t A1r Balloon mech will earn you the corresponding Blueprint badge. We’ll keep what it looks like a secret for now.
  • H0t A1r Balloon capture badge — capturing a H0t A1r Balloon mech will earn you the corresponding badge. We’ll keep what it looks like a secret for now.

Drink and Disc Golf ZEE-Dayz

As today is International Beer Day and tomorrow is National Disc Golf Day we thought it would be fun to combine the celebrations into one unique ZEE-Dayz weekend! Just make sure that you don’t get too tipsy*!

Double Points Details

From the period of Friday, August 5th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, August 7th at 23:59 MHQ, enjoy double points on tPOB Pubs, Drink Depot Places, and Flat Disc Golf Baskets!

Seeing all these icons together, the Flat Disc Golf Basket’s shape does have some similarities with a wine glass, no?

Store Sale!

If your stock of tPOB Pubs has run dry, you’ll find that they’re back in the Freeze Tag Store for the same period as double points!

In addition, if you need more Flat Disc Golf Baskets near you, we’ve got a “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” discount at the Freeze Tag Store! You must add 3 Flat Disc Golf Baskets to your cart to use it, and are limited to 2 uses per order (in other words — put 6 in the cart, pay for 4, 2 are free). Flat Disc Golf Scatters Return!

For the same period as double points, when you capture a Flat Disc Golf Basket, up to 3 Discs may be scattered nearby!

As before, the Discs will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat Disc Golf Scatter owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers/Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These disc scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for Discs are as follows:

Melon flashMOB!

Throughout the years, August in the Munzee world tends to be more relaxed — as birthday month winds down we usually take a bit of a break after all the excitement! Well after celebrating us all month long, we’ve decided to turn it around and showcase how thankful we are for YOU — our players!

We’re calling it the “Player AppreZEEation Celebration” and since you’ve shown us such great support during our UnBirthday month, we’ve got a handful of surprises over the next few weeks!

To kick things off, we thought it would be fun to flock the map again like we did in April — but this time, it’s not Flamingos you’ll be waking up to — read on for everything you need to know!

Refreshing Watermelons

From the period of Monday, August 1st at 00:01 MHQ through Tuesday, August 2nd at 23:59 MHQ, if you’ve captured all the munzees near you, you’ll be happy to discover that your map has been flashMOBBED! ALL Greenies and Virtual Colors will have the “mask munzees” shown below applied to them.

As before, what we mean by “mask munzee” is that they appear on top of a host munzee, similar to a bouncing munzee, but once capped they do NOT bounce anywhere else. You have “removed” the mask.

NEW Jabberwock Myth Details

Like the other Mythological Munzees, the Jabberwock is a permanent POB. It’s been a while since we last released one of these — Zeus was the most recent one, finishing the line of Modern Myths. To repeat what was mentioned above — the Jabberwock is the start of a NEW Storyland line of Myths, so expect to see more creative creatures in the future!

Landing Pads

You can find these cacophonous chimeras flying to the landing pads above every 12 hours or when captured.

Jabberwocks will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture a Jabberwock on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same Jabberwock visits you. Jabberwocks are non-blastable. They will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access them by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When a Jabberwock is captured, it will scatter up to 3 Vorpal Swords.

These scatters will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Jabberwock owner’s account. This means that unlike Air Mystery Feathers/Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! The badge for deploying a Jabberwock is shown below:

Tulgey Woodland Creatures- Deploy 1 Jabberwock Munzee.

There are also badges for capturing a Jabberwock and a Vorpal Sword. Since there’s only one badge each in these lines, we’ll keep them a secret for now.

UnBirthday Mailbox Tier 3 Day 3: CH3SHiRE Cat Mech

If you’re a Tier 3 member of the UnBirthday Card Collectors Club, you won’t want to miss out on capping your mailbox today! Inside, you will receive a fully-built CH3SHiRE Cat Mech that auto-deploys. You will also receive the Blueprint to rebuild it as many times as you like with the Cogs you’ve earned from Daily ZeeOps. To reiterate, the mailbox must be capped on July 3rd 00:01-23:59 MHQ time to receive the CH3SHiRE Cat.

NEW CH3SHiRE Cat Mech Details

Like the other Munzee Mechz, the CH3SHiRE Cat is a temporary POB. The CH3SHiRE Cat will remain on the map until it has been captured 5 times, as you can see below.

When a CH3SHiRE Cat is captured, it will scatter up to 3 Floating Heads.

These scatters will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Mech owner’s account. This means that unlike Air Mystery Feathers/Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes and have a capture radius of 300 feet. These scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

As with other Munzee Mechz, the badges for deploying the CH3SHiRE Cat depict the Blueprints, and is shown below:

There is also a badge for capturing a CH3SHiRE Cat Mech. Since there’s only one badge in this line, we’ll keep it a secret for now.
