Paella is a traditional Spanish dish unlike any other! We’re not exaggerating when we say this mouthwatering mixture is unforgettable. Traditional Spanish paella includes jumbo shrimp, broth, chicken thighs, chorizo sausage, prosciutto, mussels, yellow rice, peas, plenty of spices and flavoring, and of course, saffron! There are many different variations and takes on this dish, with ingredients added and substituted at will. In the end, you’re left with a delicious bowl of grains, protein, and veggies coated in a beautiful blend of spices and flavors!

Who’s ready for some excitement?! We’re happy to announce that MHQ Bash Weekend will also kick off Weapons Weekend worldwide! If you find yourself wondering what is Weapons Weekend?!, we’re happy to share that it won’t disappoint. Weapons Weekend means double points on all Clan Weapon activity from Friday 9/27 at 00:01 MHQ time through Sunday 9/29 at 23:59 MHQ time! That means it’s a weekend of fun that all players can partake in, regardless of whether or not you’ll be joining us in North Texas!

This month is all about MedZEEval Times, so be sure to stock up on as many Clan Weapons as you can before the big weekend! You can earn Clan Weapons by competing in Clan Wars, but for those who didn’t join a Clan in time for September Clan Wars, you can pick up a handful of Clan Weapon Munzees in each of our SeptemberMunzPaks! PLUS something special will be going on with all Unicorn and Dragon Mythological Munzee Variants during Bash weekend, so be sure to stay tuned!
We want everybody around the world to showcase their warrior prowess, so expect some more announcements as the month goes on. Although we’ll have a handful of warriors with us in person at MHQ Bash, the rest of the world should prepare for battle, too! And, of course, even though our event packages are no longer for sale, you can RSVP on the event calendar anytime to join in on the fun in person!

Clan Wars Update!
The development team has been hard at work on a brand new update to the Munzee app that will take the Clan Wars experience to a whole new level! While we’re not revealing all of the fun details just yet, we will begin beta testing very soon. So if you’re part of the beta testing group, stay tuned for more info!
Agents, ZeeOps HQ’s system has been hacked and all of our files on past missions have been erased! You’ll have to recreate past Operations in what we’re calling LegaZeeOps. It’s up to you to keep the legacy of this organization in tact. The missions for this month are the same that were originally available in September 2017’s Operations.
Despite Director Zee’s return, little has been spoken regarding the First Clan’s ominous warnings of the war to come. The Director insists we must continue to focus on the work at hand, because peace is only temporary in this line of work.
Mysterious Zodiac symbols have begun showing up all across the world. It’s up to you to investigate and report back to HQ.
The Zodiac Munzees appear to be reactive to the stars and the time of year. Reports also suggest a masked vigilante is behind the ominous deploys. Be careful and if you come across this Zodiac Vigilante, do not engage until we can figure out his motives.
September 2019 ZeeOps Operations are now live and you can begin planning your Missions to start on the following day. You can also pick up full sets of both Zodiac types for a discounted price this weekend only in the FT Store! Western Zodiacs might even be a bit more valuable in the near future too…
By completing any Operation this month you’ll also earn the new “LegaZeeOps- Operation: Star Studies” badge.

LEVEL 1
Basic Training +- Earn at least 1,000 points. Defensive Training- Deploy at least 10 munzees. Offensive Training- Capture at least 25 munzees. Zee Is For Zodiac I- Capture at least 10 Zodiac Munzees of any kind. Zee Is For Zodiac II- Deploy at least 5 Zodiac Munzees of any kind.
LEVEL 2:
Group Training +- Earn at least 1,000 CapOn points. Moon Watchers – Capture at least 12 Zodiac Munzees and deploy at least 6 Zodiac Munzees of any kind. Star Crossed – Capture at least 24 Zodiac Munzees of any kind. House of The Rising Son- Deploy at least 12 Zodiac Munzees of any kind. Virtual Surreality- Capture at least 100 virtual munzees of any type.
LEVEL 3:
Advanced Training- Earn at least 10,000 points. Always Aware- Deploy at least 50 physical munzees of any type. Son Shine- Deploy at least 36 Zodiac Munzees of any kind. Shooting Star- Capture at least 48 Zodiac Munzees of any kind. Virtual Virus 2- Capture at least 250 virtual munzees of any type.
LEVEL 4:
Expert Training- Earn at least 50,000 points. Dark Side Of The Moon- Deploy at least 100 greenies. The Falling Star- Deploy at least 60 Zodiac Munzees of any kind. Setting Son- Capture at least 84 Zodiac Munzees and deploy at least 36 Zodiac Munzees of any kind. ZEEnith– Capture at least 250 physical type munzees.
Completing Operations will give you some hard earned rewards as well.

You don’t have to set it on fire, but for September Resolutions, we are challenging players to watch less TV and spend more time exploring the real world!

Since the start of the year, our monthly Capture Streak badges have been centered around a year of personal improvement. Each month’s unique badge is dedicated to accomplishing another New Year’s Resolution. Like our Super Streak badges, you will be awarded a badge if you capture at least one Munzee* each day for the entire month. Each of the badges allows for the chance to work towards a different in order to bring about a year of positive growth and change!

However, there is a difference between enjoying a show or two and having to continually confirm on Netflix that you are still watching. While you don’t have to give up television all together, there are benefits of limiting TV time.
Television has an influence on your worldview, and it is likely not an accurate one. Unless you’re only watching documentaries, it’s likely that you’re seeing a myriad of careers (from doctors to lawyers to police officers) inaccurately portrayed on the small screen, which subconsciously shapes how you view the world. In a larger sense, this sense of false reality submersion can create false expectations in life and lead to disillusionment with reality, adversely affecting interpersonal relationships along the way. The end result? Overall less satisfaction with your life.
It’s likely no surprise that television influences your spending habits, with the power of advertising becoming virtually unavoidable thanks to measures such as product placement and subliminal advertising. While advert advertising is easier to see, when messages are less obviously interspersed throughout programming, they can become harder to actively avoid. In addition, too much television drains your mental energy and impairs rational thinking.
And, of course, one of the main reasons why too much TV is bad for your health is because it robs us of precious time that we could be spending with real people in the real world. So grab the ones you love and head into the real world to discover what your surroundings have to offer. Of course if you happen to Munzee along the way, that’s just an added bonus!

While you might not be celebrating loose teeth these days, we do have a way to get you excited about detached dentures. You’d expect for these specials to be released at tooth-hurty, but the Tooth Fairy Specials will actually be hitting the map at 15:00 MHQ time today for some tooth caps you’ll actually enjoy!
Tooth Fairy Specials
As you’ll soon see from our badge and tags, today is Tooth Fairy Day 2019! That’s right, August 22 marks National Tooth Fairy Day in the United States, a holiday that allows you to connect to your inner kid and recall the fun of this fabled fantasy figure. So what better way to celebrate the whimsy than with specials that will have you grinning from ear to ear?!
The Tooth Fairy Specials will be 3 physical Munzee Owned Bouncers (MOBs) that will bounce to specific munzees. We will be putting a total of 1,600 of these specials on the map, but some teeth are more rare than others! White Tooth specials are the most common, Gold Tooth specials are less common, and Diamond Tooth specials are super rare. All specials will bounce around every 8 hours or when captured and will remain on the map until September 7 at 23:59 MHQ time.
Where do teeth like to shop? At the Gap! But what landing pads are they attracted to? That depends on the special! The White Tooth will be attracted to Greenies, the Gold Tooth will be attracted to Premium Munzees, and the Diamond Tooth will be attracted to physical Jewel Munzees (Diamond, Ruby, Aquamarine, Topaz, and Pink Diamond). The point distribution for capping a Tooth Fairy special will vary based on which special is capped.

Gold Tooth: 5 PinPoints and 100 points to both Capture and Host
Diamond Tooth: 10 PinPoints and 250 points to both Capture and Host

Additionally, you can Magnetize Greenies to get White Tooth specials, but Gold and Diamond Tooth specials won’t be attracted to Magnets, so keep your eyes peeled for them!

The Overall Flat Friends badges will be awarded for both captures and deploys. The capture line features different “AccesorZees” for our Flat Friends, like Flat Rob’s hat, Flat Matt’s lasso and more! The deploy badge line features “Sweet Ridez” AKA different modes of transportation like Flat Rob’s Munzee Mobile and Flat Lou’s Bike!
There are currently 8 badges that you can earn per category, with 2 badges per each Flat Friend per category. That means each Flat Friend has 2 capture and 2 deploy badges to earn based on number of deploys or captures, for a total of 16 brand new badges! Please note that although these badge designs are attributed to specific characters, you can earn the badges by capturing and deploying ANY Flat Friend.
While we’re not about to reveal everything, we will provide a sneak peak of the first badge for both the capture and deploy lines. As you can tell by the requirements, you’re going to have to be quite the Flat Friends master to pick up all of these badges, because the numbers get high! Think you have what it takes?! Since the Nymph is listed a lower price point than some of the other Myth Munzees, it will not include the ability to “nudge” or be renamed. With the usage of a Bouncer Upgrade Credit, you will be able to give nudge and renaming abilities to your Nymph, as well as the ability to land on shades of Green Virtual Munzees. This new upgrade feature will make the Nymph more likely to be captured, with 9 additional colored virtual landing pads being added. You can find the full list of what the Nymph bounces to below.
The upgrade credit will also give you the ability to “nudge” your Nymph Munzee to a new munzee up to three times a day, following the MHQ 24-hour day, after it has been on its host munzee for at least three hours. This nudging ability is only available for the owner via the munzee’s webpage and is not available in the app.
Your munzee will still retain its unique number, but feel free to get creative when it comes to renaming your Nymph Munzee! Just be sure to follow the Player Code of Conduct, and remember Munzee maintains a family-friendly environment.

There will be 2,019 of these special Munzees on the map to celebrate a very historic year for Rob and Louise! The specials will remain on the map until August 23 at 23:59 MHQ time.
This special is NOT blastable, because you have to travel the distance to find love! ? The capture radius will be 500 feet from all Virtuals. You can find this special by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” and “All Limited Edition Specials” filters. All activity on Flat Lou, Flat Rob, and Diamonds will be worth DOUBLE POINTS during the duration of this special!
