The all new Micro Blast Capture is small, but it packs a mighty punch! Blasts are some of the most powerful tools in your Munzee arsenal, and this all new addition is designed for ultimate precision and efficiency. Each Micro Blast will capture up to 25 virtual munzees within a one mile radius. Perfect for trying to nab those tricky, hard-to-reach bundles of munzees, especially if there aren’t enough munzees to require a mini Blast (up to 50). Micro Blasts have got you covered!

NEW Bouncer Destination: The Dragon’s Keep!

If you’re searching for a sizzling cap you’ll need to enter the haven of the dragons! Prove your bravery and prepare for our latest Bouncer Destination: The Dragon’s Keep, an ancient draconian sanctuary! This thrilling Destination is perfect for all of our brave dragon trainers, and you can get yours for just $3 HERE! LIMIT 5 PER PLAYER (per 31 days).

As you can imagine this new type will attract a number of Dragon Bouncers, including all three levels of the Dragon Trainer Specials! But be careful when playing with fire and watch your step —you wouldn’t want the lava or any cranky dragons to give you the ultimate pedicure!

Basic Info

  • ONLY DEPLOYABLE IN-APP
  • Attracts up to 6 bouncers over time (7 for Premium Members)
  • Stays on the map for 7 days
  • Automatically magnetized when 1st deployed
    • Is magnetizable afterwards
  •  Points:
    • Deploy: 250 points
    • Cap: 10 points + points for bouncers in the Dragons’s Keep at the time of capture.
    • CapOn: 50 points
  • Can be capped once per player per 24 hour MHQ day
    • New bouncer landings do NOT refresh the capture setting
    • The regular bouncer timer is still in effect. If a bouncer times out, it leaves the Dragon’s Keep and an open spot becomes available for others
  • Players will see the base icon above for 0, but then a 1-6 (7 for Premium Members) as more bouncers stop by
  • The deploy circle for Dragon’s Keep will be 4,000 feet (1219.2 m) from the nearest Temporary Bouncer Destination.
    • Capture radius is 1,000 feet.

To access the Dragon’s Keep, turn on your Virtual filter and find it under “Destinations”. If the Dragon’s Keep is hosting munzees, it can also be visible with the “All Expiring Specials” filter.

Norse Zodiacs

For a refresher of the details about the new Norse Zodiac line of munzees, visit the December 2023 blog.

This month, you’ll receive the Othala and Dagaz Runes. Othala teaches us the impermanence of possessions. What we gather in this life won’t accompany us to the next. As you grow, reflect on your possessions and let go of what no longer suits you. Dagaz, related to “day,” signifies light, new beginnings, and awakening. It is time for trying new things and pursuing your goals. Balance enthusiasm with patience because change takes time. Allow these runes to ignite your spirit as you courageously navigate life’s obstacles and welcome new beginnings!

New Scatters

A new set of Relics will also now join the pool of artifacts that will scatter from Norse Zodiacs! These rare treasured relics are sure to make even Odin jealous! Remember, whenever a Norse Zodiac is captured, 1-3 fresh Norse Relics are unearthed nearby. With a total of 12 relics planned for release, the three below mark the launch of nine intriguing artifacts so far!

The Norse Relics will be visible to ALL players, not just the player who capped the Norse Relic, and will be deployed on the Norse Zodiac owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers, there are CapOn points for the owner! These Norse Relic scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for Norse Relics are as follows:

  • Capture: 40
  • CapOn: 20
