Hello! Ahoj! Hej! Szia! Hallo! Hei! Munzee is an international game complete with an incredible variety of players from all over the world. One aspect of the newest version of the app that we have been prioritizing is the extended language feature, and today we are happy to announce the inclusion of six additional languages in the Munzee app!
As of the publication of this blog, we are thrilled to announce the addition of the following language options:
Czech
Danish
Hungarian
German
Dutch
Finnish
In addition to our latest language options, we also have a number of other languages being worked on as well. We hope to release these languages as soon as possible!
Ready to change your language? This very simple process can be done through the Munzee app! Since the update is over-the-air, as long as you have the latest version of the Munzee app, then the language options should automatically appear without needing to download any updates. You will need to force close the app to see the OTA update be installed.
Once you’ve logged into the app, go to your Settings option from the dropdown menu. In Settings you will see the option for languages, where you will be able to select from the seven current languages offered. Be sure to confirm your language switch by pressing “Reload” to apply the change. If you’re more of a visual learner, we put together this Help Guide article to walk you through the process!

While many are familiar with trying their luck with the Prize Wheel Munzee, this brand new Prize Wheel exists in the real world! Yes, we’re talking about an actual Prize Wheel that lucky Bash attendees will have the opportunity to spin at upcoming events. But you’ll also have the opportunity to see the wheel in action from the comfort of your home!

Ready for some fun updates?! Today we’re happy to announce Western Zodiac point updates, as well as brand new Chinese Zodiac and Mystery Munzee credits!
Point Updates
As Clan WarsBattle #78 commenced on September 3 at 00:01 MHQ time, the point values for Western Zodiac Munzees all made a permanent change. Like the Chinese Zodiac Munzees, the Western Zodiacs are now all worth 20 points for Deploy, Capture, and CapOn. Their permanent point change is now as follows:
Capture: 20
Deploy: 20
CapOn: 20
Keep in mind that these values will double based on the Zodiac’s specified monthly timeframe. For example, it’s currently Virgo season (August 23- September 22), so all Virgo Western Zodiac Munzee’s will now be worth 40 points during this timeframe. For players focused on earning Zodiac points for Clan Wars, the remainder of the month will see double points action on Libra (September 23- October 22).
New Credits
In addition to the Western Zodiac point updates, the Chinese Zodiac and Mystery Munzees will now be available as credits for the first time! Since there are multiple “active” Chinese Zodiacs at any time, the credit will randomly convert to one of the active types when it is used. Remember that the Chinese Zodiac Munzees are worth double points based on the Zodiac’s specified day of the week. If you need help converting a munzee using credits, be sure to check out our Help Guide article!
For the time being, these credits have been launched in the PinPoints store. Yesterday we gave players a heads up that PinPoints store items would be shifting, so you can now find these brand new credits available for PinPoints purchase! For a full selection of the current PinPoints store items, you can check out the PinPoints catalogue. Keep in mind that these products change on a rotating basis, so if you see something you like, don’t hesitate to use your points!

The September MunzPaks will contain the following:
Agents, ZeeOps HQ’s system has been hacked and all of our files on past missions have been erased! You’ll have to recreate past Operations in what we’re calling LegaZeeOps. It’s up to you to keep the legacy of this organization in tact. The missions for this month are the same that were originally available in September 2017’s Operations.
Despite Director Zee’s return, little has been spoken regarding the First Clan’s ominous warnings of the war to come. The Director insists we must continue to focus on the work at hand, because peace is only temporary in this line of work.
Mysterious Zodiac symbols have begun showing up all across the world. It’s up to you to investigate and report back to HQ.
The Zodiac Munzees appear to be reactive to the stars and the time of year. Reports also suggest a masked vigilante is behind the ominous deploys. Be careful and if you come across this Zodiac Vigilante, do not engage until we can figure out his motives.
September 2019 ZeeOps Operations are now live and you can begin planning your Missions to start on the following day. You can plan your Operations at munzee.com/ops/and purchase more ZeeCred in the Freeze Tag Online Store.Remember that if you hit a snag at any point in your Operation you can use the Mission Mulligan feature to keep going!
This month’s requirements are focused on Western AND Chinese Zodiac Munzees. You can learn more about Zodiac Munzees on the Munzee Help Guide. You can also pick up full sets of both Zodiac types for a discounted price this weekend only in the FT Store! Western Zodiacs might even be a bit more valuable in the near future too…
By completing any Operation this month you’ll also earn the new “LegaZeeOps- Operation: Star Studies” badge.
This month’s Missions are as follows:
LEVEL 1
Basic Training +- Earn at least 1,000 points. Defensive Training- Deploy at least 10 munzees. Offensive Training- Capture at least 25 munzees. Zee Is For Zodiac I- Capture at least 10 Zodiac Munzees of any kind. Zee Is For Zodiac II- Deploy at least 5 Zodiac Munzees of any kind.
LEVEL 2:
Group Training +- Earn at least 1,000 CapOn points. Moon Watchers – Capture at least 12 Zodiac Munzees and deploy at least 6 Zodiac Munzees of any kind. Star Crossed – Capture at least 24 Zodiac Munzees of any kind. House of The Rising Son- Deploy at least 12 Zodiac Munzees of any kind. Virtual Surreality- Capture at least 100 virtual munzees of any type.
LEVEL 3:
Advanced Training- Earn at least 10,000 points. Always Aware- Deploy at least 50 physical munzees of any type. Son Shine- Deploy at least 36 Zodiac Munzees of any kind. Shooting Star- Capture at least 48 Zodiac Munzees of any kind. Virtual Virus 2- Capture at least 250 virtual munzees of any type.
LEVEL 4:
Expert Training- Earn at least 50,000 points. Dark Side Of The Moon- Deploy at least 100 greenies. The Falling Star- Deploy at least 60 Zodiac Munzees of any kind. Setting Son- Capture at least 84 Zodiac Munzees and deploy at least 36 Zodiac Munzees of any kind. ZEEnith– Capture at least 250 physical type munzees.
Completing Operations will give you some hard earned rewards as well.
This month’s rewards are:
Basic: 2 Virtuals, 2 Motel Munzees, 1 Hotel Munzee, 2 Virtual Colors, and 5 ZeeCred

Lastly, as summer wraps up, we also want to take the time to hear from our players! The survey is anonymous, but players who submit their username at the end of the survey will be entered into a drawing for a special prize! The survey will be open for the rest of the month and winners will be drawn at the beginning of October.
Remember that even though summer might be winding down, the first week of fall will be bringing plenty of player fun with MHQ Bash 6! And even though we stopped selling packages, all players are welcome to mark their attendance on the calendar and join us for a whole lot of MedZEEval Times fun!
The end of the month means it’s time for some well-deserved player recognition! We’re happy to announce the winners of our August Garden of the Month (GOTM) and Player of the Month (POTM) badges, as well as the criteria for September POTM, which just might include a special badge! ?

Garden must feature non-licensed character designs.
The garden must be built using a publicly available spreadsheet which we will ask to be locked after being 100% deployed.
We’re asking for ongoing nominations and we will release the winners throughout the year.

August POTM Winners
August POTM called for player nominations, as players submitted their selections for players with ZeeQRew or QRew status who demonstrate their dedication to readily responding to munzees and keeping the map clean. We received several dozen nominations and couldn’t be more thrilled to give this badge to those players who help keep Munzee fun for all!

September POTM Requirements
To celebrate birthday month in July, we offered a brand new badge that any player could earn regardless of whether or not they had previously earned Player of the Month. Well, September has us pretty excited about MHQ Bash 6, so we decided to once again offer a unique POTM badge this month that any player is eligible to earn! But before you get too excited, you’ll have to meet the requirements to earn this badge:
Players engaged in September Clan Wars will now have an extra goal to aspire to, as any player who earns a minimum of 5,000 points from any Clan Weapon activity in September will be awarded this special badge at the conclusion of the month. That means that Clan Weapon Capture, CapOn, and Deploy points will all count towards earning this elite badge for September POTM.
Thanks for making August a great month for Munzee! We can’t wait to share all the fun that September has in store!

August 7 marks the annual Qixi Festival, also known as the Qiqiao Festival, which is a traditional Chinese festival that celebrates the mythological romance of the cowherd and weaver maid.
