🐦⬛ September 2025 GOTM Winners 🌽
Earlier this month, we shared the upcoming GOTM Themes for 2026! For your convenience, we’ve updated the list at the bottom to include the new themes as well. This month, the theme was “Share the Harvest” — we certainly had a great crop of gardens to choose from featuring fall foods!

Without further ado, let’s jump right in to celebrate the winners for September:

Gardens that have an assortment of munzee types are always fun, and can be a helpful teaching tool for new players — they can see how each type behaves upon capture. This garden is a good size for players to hand-cap — and it’s such a fun detail that the rows of Pumpkins and Spaghetti that the scarecrow is guarding is part of its own body!

In contrast, we also love gardens that make use of just one type of munzee — of course, Virtual Colors tend to be a popular choice due to the range of colors available. We love how this ear of corn makes use of multiple yellow and green shades to give the garden more dimension and make it more interesting to look at!

We know how much effort and creativity goes into designing amazing gardens, and we want to give you a head start! With the themes for the rest of the year now revealed, you have plenty of time to plan your designs, gather the right Munzees, and even recruit friends and family to help fill out your vision. The best gardens often come together when players work together — so start brainstorming early and get those creative juices flowing! We can’t wait to see the incredible designs you come up with — and who knows, maybe one of them will take the top spot in a future GOTM!

👻 October 2025 GOTM Theme – “Haunted Haunts“
October’s theme will focus on the classically spooky! Think ghosts, skeletons, pumpkins, and horror icons! We dare to be scared — but make sure your designs are still family-friendly for the younger players!
🌐 November 2025 GOTM Theme – “World of Wonders“
November’s theme will focus on everything Around ZEE World! Think famous landmarks, different cultures, or global travel! Munzee is a worldwide adventure after all, so we’d love to see more gardens showing that off!
🎄 December 2025 GOTM Theme – “Festive Foliage“
December’s theme will focus on all that is merry and bright! Think holiday trees, ornaments, gifts, and other symbols of seasonal celebrations! It’s the most wonderful time of the year, so we can’t wait to see how you light up the map!
🎉 January 2026 GOTM Theme – “New Beginnings“
Inspired by National Motivation & Inspiration Day (Jan 2) and National Hobby Month.
Start the year fresh! Gardens can feature symbols of new goals, resolutions, or hobbies — think calendars, fireworks, gym shoes, or even paintbrushes. Anything that represents a fresh start and chasing new dreams.
💖 February 2026 GOTM Theme – “Love & Kindness“
Inspired by Valentine’s Day (Feb 14) and Random Acts of Kindness Day (Feb 17).
Show the love! Hearts, flowers, candy, or even linked hands are perfect symbols. You could also spotlight kindness — smiley faces, community icons, or gardens shaped like hugs.
📚 March 2026 GOTM Theme – “Read, Learn, Grow“
Inspired by National Reading Month and Learn About Butterflies Day (Mar 14).
Turn the page to creativity! Books, butterflies, pencils, or graduation caps would all fit. Celebrate learning and curiosity in garden form.
🌍 April 2026 GOTM Theme – “Earth & Environment“
Inspired by Earth Day (Apr 22) and National Garden Month.
Think green! Earths, recycling symbols, flowers, trees, or even endangered animals. Celebrate the planet and all things natural.
💪 May 2026 GOTM Theme – “Health & Heroes“
Inspired by National Physical Fitness & Sports Month and Memorial Day (May 25).
Designs could show sports gear, medals, running shoes, or strong figures. You might also honor military or community heroes — flags, ribbons, or silhouettes in salute.
🏞️ June 2026 GOTM Theme – “Great Outdoors“
Inspired by National Camping Month and Great Outdoors Month.
Picture tents, campfires, fish, or mountains. Anything that sparks a summer adventure — hiking trails, kayaks, or even a picnic spread!
🇺🇸 July 2026 GOTM Theme – “Freedom & Fun“
Inspired by Independence Day (July 4) and National Ice Cream Day (July 19).
Stars, stripes, fireworks, or cones stacked high with scoops of ice cream! Perfect for showing off patriotism and summer fun.
🤝 August 2026 GOTM Theme – “Friendship & Community“
Inspired by National Friendship Day (Aug 2) and Family Fun Month.
Hands holding, stick figures, family icons, or even smiling emojis. Celebrate the joy of connections, bonding, and togetherness.
📖 September 2026 GOTM Theme – “Learning & Labor“
Inspired by Labor Day (Sept 7) and National Literacy Month.
Think books, gears, tools, or worker icons. Highlight both the hard work and the knowledge that keeps the world moving.
🎃 October 2026 GOTM Theme – “Spooky & Creative“
Inspired by Halloween (Oct 31) and National Arts & Humanities Month.
Pumpkins, ghosts, skeletons, or paintbrushes dipped in eerie colors. Anything that blends imagination with spooky flair!
🦃 November 2026 GOTM Theme – “Gratitude & Giving“
Inspired by Thanksgiving (Nov 26) and National Philanthropy Day (Nov 15).
Think cornucopias, turkeys, helping hands, or food drives. Celebrate generosity, thankfulness, and giving back.
❄️ December 2026 GOTM Theme – “Joy & Traditions“
Inspired by National Cookie Day (Dec 4) and the holiday season.
Cookies, ornaments, snowflakes, candles, or wrapped gifts. Anything that brings cheer and captures holiday traditions around the world.
