October 2018 Clan Requirements

Clan Battle #67 will start October 3 at 00:01 — if you would like to join a clan for the first time or want to find a new clan you can use our Clan Randomizer button, but it is only available from 00:01 October 1 through 23:59 October 2 so act fast!

All requirements can be worked on at any time, but rewards are earned in ascending order moving from Level 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5.
This month we will display the Requirements in three forms in an attempt to help everyone understand and prepare best. We’re always trying to make things easier, I promise. 🙂 There is also a story about a clan going for Level 5 at the bottom. Rob is reading this story LIVE in the Munzee Water Cooler Facebook Group right now. You can watch the recorded version if you are reading this at release time.

And now…

October 2018 Clan Requirements, The Story

It’s September 28, 2018 at 15:05 MHQ Time, the October Clan Requirements have been released for exactly 5 minutes. There are shrieks of delight from some!

*Shriek*

There are groans of misery from others!

*Groan, mumble, mumble*

At MHQ Rob sits, drumming his fingers, watching “The Water Cooler” for some sign of acceptance or rejection of his latest attempt to entertain the masses. But today there isn’t a lot of chatter because the requirements were laid out in 3 formats, enough to please even the most detailed of players. At least that’s what Rob thinks. 😉

All around the world players start to communicate and choose what level they will aim for in October. Some shaking their heads because “THERE ARE NO EVENTS NEAR ME!” so I won’t be able to get the event indicator pins. Others saying they won’t be able to get virtual evolutions because they “JUST CAPPED THEM YESTERDAY WHEN THEY EVOLVED.”

Rob patiently waits for the complaints to become public so he can start reminding players that clans are like families, they help each other out. He thinks, clans are also like underwear, sometimes you have to change them – but he doesn’t say this out loud. He reminds everyone that each level is something to aim for with the higher levels designed to be more challenging and often not designed for a brand new player. It’s best for players to join the game, join a clan, figure everything out, accumulate some credits, buy some stickers, maybe even a Munzpak! 😉 *Shameless plug*

Anyway, one group of players that have played together for the last 27 clan battles decides they are going for LEVEL 5! They know it will be a challenge but they are up for it. One player in New York says they can deploy some of the Scatters needed, but not all 50. Two other players from Finland and Australia say they’ve got enough to help as well. A player from California chimes in and says they know of a prize wheel trail with 10 they can capture but it won’t be enough for the 125 required. One of the German clan members says they have a prize wheel garden just one town over so the prize wheel caps will be easy to get. They notice there are 2 specific requirements that are “per player” and decide to come up with a “battle plan.”

Several of them plan to use one magnet to get their 3 myth caps, others have “myths all over the place every day” and say it will be easy for them. One of the players from England says they are going to have to drive 3 towns up the M4 just to have a spot to deploy their 15 clan weapons because “there’s no room here for anything”. The others laugh because CLEARLY there is always room for one more! 😉

They notice it will take a total of 50 myth caps and 250 Clan weapons deployed to earn rewards at Level 5 and each vows to do their required portion “and then some.” The chat goes on for the next several hours with them discussing each requirement and how they will achieve it.

They compliment Rob, publicly, for finally giving three forms of displaying the requirements. After all, “The Time Is Now”. He’s sure there will be a few mistakes but has publicly vowed to fix them, as he always does, and also to ignore all questions, as he always does. 😉

So, before we close this story, a reminder to all…if it isn’t mentioned specifically then it’s probably excluded on purpose. And YES, CapOn points DO count in October!

Munzee On and Happy Clanning in October!
