Turning Up the Heat for Lou’s Birthday 🎂🔥

The sky has turned pink, the bubbles are floating, and things are heating up across the map. To celebrate Lou’s birthday, Flat Lou has taken to the skies on her sky-cycle, spreading champagne bubbles and birthday cheer wherever she goes. For a limited time, Flat Lou and her Fancy Flat Lou counterparts are scattering Water Bottles and Champagne Bottles so everyone can stay hydrated, sip something bubbly, and join the celebration in style.

But every great birthday needs a little extra heat. As Lou turns up the fun, Rubies have started scattering Fires across the map, like birthday candles sparking to life. Capture those Fires to help keep the party under control and you might even snag a surprise party favor along the way — a bonus Zed for your efforts!

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Monday, January 26th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, February 1st at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Lou, up to 3 Water Bottles may be scattered nearby! Similarly, when you capture Fancy Flat Lou, up to 3 Champagne Bottles may be scattered nearby! As Lou’s birthday sparks fly, capturing a Ruby can scatter up to 3 Fires in the area. Blow them out like birthday candles and you just might score a festive surprise: 1 Zed!

As with other Flat Scatters, the drinks will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers / Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The scatters are worth the following:

  • Drinks:
    • Capture: 50 points
    • CapOn: 25 points
  • Fires:
    • Capture: 50 points (if you’re brave enough to battle the birthday flames!)
      • OR small chance to get burnt and lose 5-20 points
    • CapOn: 10 points
