🍲 March MunzShroom 🍄

A steamy new chef has joined the kitchen! This NEW potager MunzShroom starts his soups with a hearty mushroom stock! Add the StewChef MunzShroom to your collection by completing your capture streak in March and look forward to slurping up a nourishing bowl.

If you completed your February capture streak, prepare to receive the PortoBigBelly MunzShroom Skin (and corresponding badge) in early March. Read on to learn more about the latest addition to the MunzShroom family!

February MunzShroom Reminders

If you haven’t picked up a base MunzShroom yet, they are available in the Freeze Tag Store for $11.

As a reminder, this is how to have a permanent MunzShroom on your account next year:

• Own at least 8 MunzShrooms by the end of the year.
  • Each month, the price of a MunzShroom will decrease by $1.
  • However, players can only purchase 1 MunzShroom every 28 days.

What MunzShroom awaits in March? The StewChef MunzShroom, who has a rich and creamy soup simmering! It is a temporary POB that will remain on the map as long as the players with permanent MunzShrooms continue to use it.

Your Lucky Mailbox is set to deliver 11 days of fortune-filled fun, brought straight to you by our most trustworthy leprechauns, starting on Friday, March 7th, 2025! How the Lucky Mailbox Works

Starting Friday, March 7th, 2024 at 00:01 MHQ, each day you cap your Lucky Mailbox you will be awarded a different themed Greeting Card capture, similar to the other mailboxes. Please note that you’ll only be able to earn that specific card on that day, so you really don’t want to miss a day. Once you cap that card you’ll earn points, and you may also get some extra prizes! The Lucky Mailbox is available for $15 and includes the following:

• 1 Lucky Mailbox Munzee to deploy and move around anywhere at anytime!
• 1 Daily Capture of the mailbox each MHQ day starting on February 24th or when first deployed, which should help with keeping up your streaks!
• 11 Mailbox Prize Days starting on March 7th and ending on March 17th, which will deliver the goodies below when captured, including Cards, Zeds, Munzees to deploy and more!
• 11 Themed Greeting Cards to both CAPTURE and DEPLOY!
• 1 P0T-0-TR0N Mech deployed when capturing the mailbox on March 7th
• Exclusive access to TRIPLE Point Events
• This mailbox will archive on March 18, 2025

If you’re interested, you can purchase it in the FT Store! You will still be able to purchase the mailbox after it begins, but you won’t be able to earn rewards from the days that have passed. We suggest purchasing your mailbox as soon as possible to max out your points and make sure you won’t miss out on any prizes!

P0T-0-TR0N Mech

It’s not every day that things just fall into our laps — so this month, we wanted to give you the experience of stumbling upon a leprechaun’s secret stash! Like the other Munzee Mechz, P0T-0-TR0N is a temporary POB. P0T-0-TR0N will remain on the map until it has been captured 7 times, as you can see below. You will receive a fully-built P0T-0-TR0N that will auto-deploy on your account when you capture your Mailbox on March 7th. You will also receive the Blueprint to rebuild it when you have earned enough Cogs in the future. It will cost 17 Cogs to rebuild this mech.

You can find the P0T-0-TR0N at the landing pads above every 6 hours or when captured.

P0T-0-TR0N will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture a P0T-0-TR0N on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same P0T-0-TR0N visits you. P0T-0-TR0N is non-blastable. It will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access it by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When a P0T-0-TR0N is captured, it will scatter up to 1 P0K3R CHiP.

These scatters will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Mech owner’s account. They expire after 120 minutes and have a capture radius of 300 feet. These scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

There are a variety of badge lines associated with this Mailbox, so look forward to earning even more as the month progresses!

• Lucky Mailbox Deploy Badge — deploying a Lucky Mailbox will earn you a special badge that you can see below.
• Lucky Mailbox Card Capture Badges — capture at least 1 of each unique Lucky Mailbox card! We’ll keep what these look like a secret for now.
• P0T-0-TR0N Mech Badges — deploying a P0T-0-TR0N mech will earn you the corresponding Blueprint badge that you can also see below. There is also a unique badge for capturing this mech!

🪶 Feather & Fang Festival! 🐍

Last year, we introduced the New Dawn Festival, which marked the beginning of a new era for the game! Since then we’ve continued to add to the experience with fun-filled challenges and updates, such as a new coat of paint on Elemental Mysteries, the creation of the Munzdex, the introduction of the Widdlz, a deploy event followed by a flashMOB event in the form of Cursed Munzees, just to name a few.

In 2025, look forward to more! This launch marks the start of another annual celebration in this new Munzee world — the Feather & Fang Festival! Inspired by the powerful creatures of both air and earth, this festival celebrates the magic that ignites when opposing forces work together. As they say, opposites attract! Though this festival does have some elements similar to Valentine’s Day in the real world, there are other mysteries rooted in previously unexplored symbols.
