☕ Coffee Cup Code Scatters Return!

Be on the lookout for returning Flat Cup Scatters to celebrate CuppaZee creator Sam for International Programmers Day & Coffee Day! Starting NOW until Wednesday, September 30th at 23:59 MHQ, Flat Cups will temporarily scatter 1-3 Cups of Coffee!

: HTMLatte Coffee

These scatters are worth 50 Capture Points / 25 CapOn Points, expire after 120 minutes, and can be captured within 300 feet. For a more detailed refresher on these scatters, review previous blogs posts here.

📍 Scatter On Quick Deploy Bonus!

For a limited time, deploying Flat Cups through the Quick Deploy menu in-app will have the chance to send bonus Flat Cup scatters to the location where you originally opened Quick Deploy! This new limited-time bonus gives you much more control over where your scatters appear. Want to send some coded coffee to family or friends? You can do that! Want to keep the scatters close by so you can capture them yourself? You can do that too!

Here’s the important part: The scatter location is determined when and where you FIRST open the Quick Deploy menu.

After opening Quick Deploy, you can then move the deployment pin and place your Flat Cup somewhere else. The Flat Cup itself will deploy wherever you move the pin, but any bonus scatters generated from the Quick Deploy event will appear back at the original Quick Deploy location.

So, for example, if you want the scatters to appear near you:

Open the Quick Deploy menu at the location where you want the scatters to appear.
Select your Flat Cup.
Move the deployment pin to wherever you’d like to deploy the Flat Cup.
Complete the fresh deploy in-app.
If bonus scatters are generated, they’ll appear near the location where you originally opened Quick Deploy!

That means you can deploy a Flat Cup for another player or location while still sending the bonus scatters back to yourself — or position yourself near friends and share the caffeinated fun!

Choose your starting location carefully! Once you open Quick Deploy, that’s where the bonus scatters will be sent. As with previous Scatter On Deploy specials, only fresh in-app deploys are eligible. Undeploying and redeploying an existing Flat Cup will not trigger the bonus.

Binary 0 Card — Capturing Flat Cups has a small chance to award one Binary 0 Card
Binary 1 Card — Deploying Flat Cups has a guaranteed chance to award one Binary 1 Card

LIMIT – Each card can by earned once every 24 hours. So make sure to come back each day to keep building your code! And stay tuned — more ways to earn Binary Cards will be revealed later this month.
