The Ametust, Topaas, and Oniks are Ready to Rock Your World As the Latest Pouch Creatures!

UPDATE: Funfinity Stone capture badges are now live! 

Please give a warm welcome to the first new Pouch Creatures released this year, Ametust, Topaas, and Oniks!

Also known as part of the Funfinity Stones, these Player Owned Bouncers (POB) resemble the Jewel Munzees, which they also bounce to! These three stones are available NOW in the Freeze Tag Online Store. Be sure to shop fast, because these Funfinity Stones will leave the store at 10:00 MHQ on Monday, March 2! Players can purchase one of each of the Funfinity Stone types for $10 each. No upgrade ability is available.

These precious pals bounce every 6 hours or when captured.

All three of these new Pouch Creatures will have the same point values:

  • Deploy: 250

This lovely purple stone will land on the following munzee types:

You can find Ametust, Topaas, and Oniks by turning on your Only Expiring Specials and Only Pouch Creatures filters. These new Pouch Creatures WILL be attracted to physical magnets AND virtual magnets — remember that Jewel Munzees are now magnetizable as well. So this means that the physical Topaz munzee and the virtual Amethyst and Onyx munzees can also be magnetized to pull these stones!

Don’t forget to pick up magnets at the Freeze Tag Online Store and magnetize a greenie, virtual, Jewel, or Treehouse of your choosing to attract up to 3 Specials, Myths, or Pouch Creatures for up to an hour!

For deploying a Funfinity Stone Pouch Creature Munzee, you will earn the respective deploy badge:

UPDATE: There is also a line of ten badges for capturing unique Funfinity stones! Unlike other Pouch Creature badge lines these will be earned for ALL unique Funfinity captures, no matter the type. Each badge features a different Funfinity Stone so some may be a bit of a sneak peek of what’s to come! The latter badges will be pretty difficult to earn so be sure to capture Funfinity Stones whenever you see them!

Below you’ll find the requirements for the first two capture badges, which feature Topaas and the Null image. You’ll have to cap more to see which sun-shiny stone comes next!

February 2020 MunzPak Featuring Heartbreaker POBs!

It’s February already?! It feels like this year is just getting started! Don’t worry though — this month’s MunzPaks are definitely NOT a repeat of January’s. For this month each Pak includes a NEW Heartbreaker Munzee, which is a temporary Player Owned Bouncer! We’re very excited to share these three new types with you. You can find a break down below!

MunzPak is a monthly subscription service that delivers munzees directly to your door! Each of our three MunzPak options contain a variety of munzees, including some new items that you won’t be able to find anywhere else! The three different types of MunzPaks that you can subscribe to each month are as follows:

  • Physical MunzPak features blocks of generic stickers and pre-coded stickers including brand new munzees which can only be purchased through the subscription service. $~25 value for $15 each month.
  • Virtual MunzPak features a variety of virtual munzees that are automatically added to your account each month such as Destination Munzees, Jewels, and more. $~40 value for $25 each month.
  • Hybrid MunzPak is the best of both worlds! Get both physical and virtual munzees such as Places Munzees, Magnets, and more. $~30 value for $20.01 each month.

Heartbreakers

Like the Aussie Animals, these Heartbreakers are temporary POBs. Unlike Aussie Animals, they bounce to either physical or virtual munzees, depending on the MunzPak you purchased. They will stay on the map until 23:59 MHQ on March 31, when they will be automatically archived on your account. If you’ve ever deployed a Butterfly or Frog Evolution munzee, these will behave similarly with a few exceptions.

Awesome Aussie Animals Continue the Fundraising!

In our effort to raise funds for Australia Relief, we announced the creation of 3 new virtual gardens earlier in the week. The gardens sold out much faster than we had expected, which shows how ready and willing our community is to contribute to this cause! For those who were unable to purchase garden pins, we are proud to announce another opportunity for you with a new offering!

These ALL NEW Temporary Player Owned Bouncers (POBs) are adorable Aussie Animals and they’re on sale NOW in the Freeze Tag Online Store! A portion of the proceeds from this sale will also be added to our Australia Relief donation, so thank you all for supporting this great cause!

Like Pouch Creatures, Aussie Animals are based on items from our sister app, WallaBee, and represent a new era of munzees to enjoy! Temporary POBs work much like regular POBs, but they’re only on the map for a limited amount of time.  There are two types of Aussie Animals, the Kangaroo and Koala, and since these munzees won’t be around forever they have a smaller purchase price of $5 each. You can also purchase up to 5 of each animal per player account!

Aussie Animals

Aussie Animals are temporary POBs that bounce to both physical and virtual munzees. They will stay on the map until 23:59 MHQ on April 30, when they will be automatically archived on your account. If you’ve ever deployed a Butterfly or Frog Evolution munzee, these will behave similarly with a few exceptions.

Magnetus Joins Munzee As the Latest Pouch Creature!

This pet with an unusual proboscis may be a pest to Santa and his elves, but only due to the sheer numbers! The magnetic force emanating from the Magnetus’s bill is so strong that they are often found stuck on the most inconvenient metal surfaces, i.e. the communal fridge, various power tools, and especially Santa’s sleigh — sometimes the reindeer aren’t able to take off due to the weight of all the attached Magnetus! To help reduce Magnetus numbers in the North Pole, the latest Pouch Creature is on sale NOW and through the weekend in the Freeze Tag Online Store!

That’s right, that means you won’t have to set your timers for odd hours in order to guarantee a Magnetus purchase! You can pick up your Magnetus Pouch Creature for $15. Magnetus will be joining the ranks of Mitmegu, Tuli, Vesi, Muru, and Hadavale as the latest Munzee Pouch Creature. Pouch Creatures are based on items from our sister app, WallaBee, and represent a new era of munzees to enjoy! Magnetus

Like the Pimedus we introduced earlier in the year, the Magnetus will operate similarly to a Prize Wheel, randomly offering different prizes for cappers and owners! You can earn points, magnets, maybe even the high point earning Virtual Deploy Booster Credit?!?! That means you never know what prize you’ll be getting! Unlike the Pimedus, the Magnetus is a benign being. It will always reward you with points, but the amount will be reduced if you receive an additional prize!

Points

  • Deploy: 250 points
  • Capture: Will vary from the following options:
    • 150 – 200 points
    • 100 points and a Prize

The possible prizes Magnetus will attract may change at any given time, but it will always be something fun! While the capper of Magnetus will receive one of the listed prize options, each Magnetus owner will ALSO have the chance to earn a random prize for each CapOn! This magnetic platypus will draw the nearest metal object, so you never know what you’ll receive! The prize options at launch for CapOn will appear as follows:

Additionally, the Bouncer Upgrade will also allow you to rename your Magnetus! The name will still retain the unique number, but feel free to get creative and customize your Pouch Creature’s moniker. Please keep in mind our player code of conduct, and be mindful of maintaining a family friendly environment!

Puffle Joins Munzee As the Latest Pouch Creature!

Have you checked the weather forecast for the day? It’s pretty remarkable, because even though Munzee is played all around the world, the weather happens to be exactly the same for everyone… cloudy with a chance of Puffle! Please welcome our latest Pouch Creature to the game, as Puffle prepares to join the ranks of Mitmegu, Vesi, Hadavale, and more!

Pouch Creatures are bouncing munzees based on items from our sister app, WallaBee. Puffle is the first virtual-only Pouch Creature and much like the Pegasus Mythological Munzee it bounces to Virtual Munzees of all colors as well as Air Mystery Munzees. Our newest Pouch Creature will cost $20 from the Freeze Tag Online Store. It will go live for sale tomorrow (October 30th) at 10:00 MHQ time! Puffle will be for sale for 48-hours only, along with a number of our previous Pouch Creatures! Once the sale goes live tomorrow you can shop Puffle HERE and the Pouch Creature collection HERE, but be sure to purchase before the sale expires!

Like Tuli, Vesi, and Muru, Puffle is an evolving Pouch Creature that will change icons depending on the number of captures in a daily streak. After a specified number of total captures, the Pouch Creatures will “level up” when daily streaks are attained. As part of the Puffle’s launch, we have adjusted the streak requirements for all evolving Pouch Creatures. Starting at 10:00 MHQ time on 10/30 all Pouch Creatures that level up, including Puffle, will now evolve faster. In order to reach Level 2, you will still need a 25 cap initial requirement.

The new timeframe is as follows:

  • Level 1: 0 or 1 day of Capture (Day 2 new level)
  • Level 2: 2 days of Capture in a row (Day 3 new level)
  • Level 3: 3 or more days of Capture in a row

When the streak is broken, the Pouch Creature will revert to Level 1.

Puffle Details

Puffle joins the current line of Pouch Creatures as a virtual munzee that will bounce to Virtuals and Air Mystery Munzees every 6 hours or when capped. Deploying a Puffle will earn you 250 points. The Capture and CapOn points will vary per level as follows:

  • Puffle (Level 1)
    • Capture: 200 points
    • CapOn: 100 Points
    • CapOn (Host Owner): 50 points
  • Pufrain (Level 2)
    • Capture: 300 points
    • CapOn: 200 Points
    • CapOn (Host Owner): 50 points
  • Puflawn (Level 3)
    • Capture: 500 points
    • CapOn: 300 points
    • CapOn (Host Owner): 50 points

When the Bouncer Upgrade credit is used, your Puffle will also have the ability to be “nudged” to a new munzee. New Badges!

There will be a number of badges to enjoy along with Puffle, including the following Deploy badge:

Puffle Pouch Creature Munzee– Deploy Puffle Pouch Creature Munzee.

Additionally there will be three badges to earn for Puffle, Pufrain, and Puflawn for a total of 9 additional Capture badges. The first badge per each level will appear as follows:

Think you can handle some more badges?! Lastly, there will also be a new line of badges for overall captures of ALL Pouch Creatures! This new line of Capture badges will be retroactive, so any past Pouch Creature captures will count towards earning these badges. You will be able to see the next badge to earn once the previous one has been earned. These badges will go live when Puffle goes on sale at 10:00 MHQ on 10/30.

The badges will include captures for:

  • Tuli, Tulimber, Tulinferno
  • Muru, Muruchi, Murutain
  • Vesi, Vesial, Vesisaur
  • Hadavale
  • Mitmegu, Jootmegu, Lokemegu, Rohimegu

These won’t be easy to get, so get ready for some critter capping! The first badge in this new Capture line will appear as follows :
