Continuing where we left off from last year’s event, for National Disc Golf Day, we’re caddying with Robbie and fetching those discs from the water! Will you be able to collect them all and earn a special badge for this event?!

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Tuesday, August 5th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, August 10th at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Disc Golf Basket, up to 3 different Discs may be scattered nearby!

As with other Flat Scatters, the Discs will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers / Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These disc scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for Discs are as follows:

  • Capture: 50 points
  • CapOn: 25 points

🎈 The Traveling Troupe is Back for Munzee’s 14th! 🎪

The Traveling Troupe is back in town — and just in time to celebrate Munzee’s 14th Birthday! These seven familiar performers couldn’t resist the excitement of the Battle Of The Bards, and they’re ready to put on a show of their own. From NOW through Sunday, August 3rd at 23:59 MHQ, the Traveling Troupe specials will be bouncing back onto the map.

While there aren’t any new acts joining the lineup yet, fans of the troupe won’t want to miss this encore performance — especially with an exclusive new badge available during this limited run! Keep reading for all the festive details!

Like last time, Traveling Troupe specials will be released in waves, but will end at a total of 3,000 on the map. They will bounce around every 4 hours or when capped. These stagecoaches are Munzee Owned Bouncers (MOBs) but they will land on Flat Munzees all across the realm!

These specials will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture a Traveling Troupe on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same Traveling Troupe visits you. These munzees will not be blastable. They will be attracted to magnets, available from the Freeze Tag Online Store. You can access the Traveling Troupe specials under the “All Expiring Specials” and “All Limited Specials” filters.

When a Traveling Troupe is captured, it will scatter 1-2 Performers nearby!

  • The 2nd line of badges are based on meeting all the Performers in the set a certain number of times. We’ll show one example below for now, but be on the lookout for more, and remember new performers may appear in the future so get this set of seven while you can!

As far as we can tell, only certain Munzee types have been affected, each one ignited with a blazing filter—like they’ve been cursed by the war god’s axe itself! Even if you’ve captured them before, you’ll have the chance to earn a fresh cap on these Hot-Headed types. These Hot-Headed Munzees are FlashMOBs just like the Cursed Munzees from last year. This means that the Hot-Headed Munzees are actually a “mask” applied on top of a host munzee: similar to a bouncing munzee, but once capped, they do NOT bounce anywhere else. You have “removed” the mask. All Hot-Headed Munzees will have these new types placed on top of them – only the first to capture on each type will be able to get them! So hurry and rush to capture them before others do!

Special Scatter Details

Upon capturing a Hot-Headed Munzee, up to 3 Hot-Headed Wisps may drift nearby. This is the curse’s last attempt to cling to the map—if it can’t hold onto its original host, it will try to spread its hot-headed affliction through these lingering Wisps! Cap them quickly before the anger spreads any further!

Hot-Headed Badges

Putting out these Hot-Headed Munzees won’t be easy, but Cappy knows true bravery (or at least fiery dedication) deserves to be rewarded! To honor those who go above and beyond, he’s commissioned two special badges for this event.

The first, which you can see below, is for capturing at least 13 Hot-Headed Wisps—a challenge worthy of Friday the 13th!

This year for International Corgi Day, we wanted to mix things up! With the paw-pularity of the Purrito Card we thought it would be fun to feature both animal-themed Flats! 🎭 Traveling Troupe Specials Return With NEW Performers! 🎪

As the weather transitions from Winter to Spring, the Traveling Troupe is taking advantage of the pleasant temperatures! From NOW until Tuesday, April 8th at 23:59 MHQ the Traveling Troupe will be bouncing around the map. For this particular festival there will be SEVEN different performers, but don’t be surprised if the Traveling Troupe stagecoach returns in the future with a new set of acts! So be sure to check out the show before they leave and then rediscover the bouncer again the next time it returns to town.

Traveling Troupe Specials

Like last time, Traveling Troupe specials will be released in waves, but will end at a total of 3,000 on the map. They will bounce around every 4 hours or when capped. These stagecoaches are Munzee Owned Bouncers (MOBs) but they will land on Flat Munzees all across the realm!

These specials will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture a Traveling Troupe on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same Traveling Troupe visits you. These munzees will not be blastable. They will be attracted to magnets, available from the Freeze Tag Online Store. You can access the Traveling Troupe specials under the “All Expiring Specials” and “All Limited Specials” filters.

When a Traveling Troupe is captured, it will scatter 1-2 Performers nearby! While we want to keep most of the acts a surprise right now, here’s a sneak peek at the new silhouettes:

There are a total of 10 badges to earn from capping Traveling Troupe specials at this point:

  • The 1st line has 3 badges which are based on the total number of Traveling Troupe specials. You can see the title and description of the first badge in this line below.
  • The 2nd line of badges are based on meeting all the Performers in the set a certain number of times. We’ll show one example below for now, but be on the lookout for more, and remember new performers may appear in the future so get this set of seven while you can!
  • Since there are 3 NEW Performers that means 3 NEW Badges!

Catch as many acts and performers as you can before the Traveling Troupe leaves for the next town!
