🦘 Chase Flat Aussie Scatters with your Mates! 🪃

Though the Flat Aussie was launched just earlier this year, we wanted to make sure the accompanying scatters were released just in time for M8 (“Mates”) Day! From NOW through the May 11th, the Flat Aussie will be scattering Australian artifacts when captured. Will you be able to collect all of the eye-catching and intricate designs? Read on to learn more about the special badges you can earn for this event!

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Thursday, May 8th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, May 11th at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Aussie, up to 3 different Aussie Artifacts may be scattered nearby!

As with other Flat Scatters, the Artifacts will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat Aussie owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers / Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These artifact scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for Artifacts are as follows:

  • Capture: 50 points
  • CapOn: 25 points

Whether you’re a master artist (like Andy) or haven’t progressed much past stick figures, today is the day to express yourself! From NOW through the 20th, the Flat Fountain Pen will be scattering delightful doodlez when captured. Though they are monochromatic, thanks to Andy’s artistic abilities, they are quite the characters! Read on to preview the NEW art Andy has created for this event!

🎭 Traveling Troupe Specials Return With NEW Performers! 🎪

As the weather transitions from Winter to Spring, the Traveling Troupe is taking advantage of the pleasant temperatures! From NOW until Tuesday, April 8th at 23:59 MHQ the Traveling Troupe will be bouncing around the map. For this particular festival there will be SEVEN different performers, but don’t be surprised if the Traveling Troupe stagecoach returns in the future with a new set of acts! So be sure to check out the show before they leave and then rediscover the bouncer again the next time it returns to town.

Like last time, Traveling Troupe specials will be released in waves, but will end at a total of 3,000 on the map. They will bounce around every 4 hours or when capped. These stagecoaches are Munzee Owned Bouncers (MOBs) but they will land on Flat Munzees all across the realm!

You can access the Traveling Troupe specials under the “All Expiring Specials” and “All Limited Specials” filters.

When a Traveling Troupe is captured, it will scatter 1-2 Performers nearby! While we want to keep most of the acts a surprise right now, here’s a sneak peek at the new silhouettes:

⚡🔥 SHOCKING Results To The Elemental Community Challenge! 🌊🌪️

Last month’s Elemental Community Challenge has come to an end and you all banded together to conquer the goal with ease! The Munzee Community has successfully reached the 50,000,000 point goal and as promised a new Elemental Mech has been released!

Remember, the latest in the new line of Mechz was based on the Elemental Mystery that earned the most points during the challenge and we weren’t exactly SHOCKED to see it was the Electric Mystery! So joining the FR0ST Guardian Mech is the ALL NEW J0LT Guardian Mech, which has been deployed on each qualifying player’s account. Please note that we’re still tallying up the individual community challenge winners, so we’ll have more info on those awards soon!

Elemental Community Challenge Rewards!

Congratulations again on reaching the overall goal! As promised, everyone who earned one of the two Elemental Community Challenge participation badges will receive a NEW Elemental Mystery Mech — since the Electric Mystery earned the most points in the challenge by far, you’ve summoned the NEW J0LT Guardian! Along with the mech, everyone will receive its corresponding blueprint so you can rebuild it in the future, as well as up to three Elemental Community Challenge Badges!

It will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access J0LT Guardian by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When J0LT Guardian is captured, it will scatter up to 3 J0LT Prods on the Mech owner’s account.

Well, we’re excited to announce Cappy is now heralding a soft rebranding of the Munzee game!

Munzee has always been about adventuring into the world around you, but our team has been hard at work infusing a new story-driven fantasy campaign at the heart of the game.

Welcome to the realm of Munzee, where Cappy has recruited you to help magical creatures like dragons return to their home worlds through the capture of munzee game pieces! This fresh coat of paint comes in the form of an app update that perfectly captures the experience of chasing after myths. Out the gate you’ll be met with a colorful new loading bar and sign up screens that will welcome players new and old as they embark on their journey. For new adventurers, Cappy has taken over tutorial duties to give newbies the rundown and explain his mission in the realm.

The purpose of this initiative is to provide a unified gameplay experience for new and veteran players alike, and appeal to larger audiences in a competitive market of location-based games. Over the next few months we will continue work on new features that help onboard players into the world of Munzee, and Cappy will be a guiding force in that process. We’re so thankful for the patience of our veteran players as we usher in a new era of Munzee. Although some stylistic changes are on the forefront, the game you know and love isn’t going anywhere. It’s more important than ever that our Munzee community plays an active role in helping new players learn the complexities of the game.

Each of the Enchanted Ingredients will automatically deploy to your account upon purchase or earning it, and it will stay on the map until it has been captured TEN times. Similar to Mechz, you’ll also earn a Recipe Badge when you deploy each Enchanted Ingredient and you can rebuild them for Cake Credit in the Redeem Store at any time in the future.

Harnessing the power of the sun, this celestial defender of dragons awaits. Add this NEW Glass Guardian to your collection by completing your July capture streak and witness the sky-based phenomena!

If you completed your June capture streak, prepare to receive the Horned Glass Guardian Skin (and corresponding badge) in early July. Read on to learn more about the latest addition for July!

June Glass Guardian Reminders

If you haven’t picked up a base Glass Guardian yet, they are available in the Freeze Tag Store for $7.

How to have a permanent Guardian on your account next year:

  • Own at least 8 Guardians by the end of the year.
    • Each month, the price of a Guardian will decrease by $1.
    • However, players can only purchase 1 Guardian every 28 days.

July Glass Guardian Details

What Glass Guardian awaits in July? The Winged Glass Guardian, protector of of the skies and companion to the Horned Glass Guardian, soars to unmatched heights. The Winged Glass Guardian is a temporary POB that will remain on the map as long as the players with permanent Glass Guardians continue to use it.

  • Overall capture badges — capture as many Glass Guardians as you can find!
