Secret ZeeOps – EleMENTAL (August 2024)

Familiarize yourself with the elements to prepare for a momentous battle! An ALL NEW Secret ZeeOps is now available in the ZeeOps Hub for the usual cost of 1,500 Zeds until 23:59 MHQ on September 30th. Remember, if you’ve purchased a Secret ZeeOp, you can complete it and collect rewards even after it is no longer available for purchase.

Agents, elemental tribes are on the brink of war and it’s up to you to broker peace between them! They won’t take kindly to an outsider interfering though, so you’ll need to prove your mastery of the elements if you want to unify the warlords. Completing a series of missions will unlock new levels in this operation. There are four levels, each with four missions. If you conquer every mission in Operation: EleMENTAL, you’ll earn a celebratory badge, the NEW FR0ST Guardian MECH (info below), and more exciting rewards listed in the app!

NEW Mech Details

Like the other Munzee Mechz, FR0ST Guardian is a temporary POB that will remain on the map until it has been captured 15 times.

This frigid golem can be spotted on the landing pads listed above every 6 hours or when captured.

FR0ST Guardian will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture FR0ST Guardian on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same FR0ST Guardian visits you. FR0ST Guardian is non-blastable. It will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access FR0ST Guardian by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When FR0ST Guardian is captured, it will scatter up to 3 FR0ST Scoops on the Mech owner’s account.

These scatters will be visible to any player and expire after 120 minutes. They have a capture radius of 300 feet. Since they are passive deploys, these scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity.

8/15/24 UPDATE: Due to code changes since the last time these scatters were live, scatters from Fancy Flat Lous are currently being deployed on the landing pad owner’s account, with the exception of Champagne Bottles which are being deployed on the virtuals account. Our apologies to the Fancy Flat Lou owners who were expecting to get CapOn points from these scatters — unfortunately, there is no quick way for us to correct this, so we’ll have to address it before the next time we re-release these scatters.

France is the country to be this month, as it’s hosting not only the world’s biggest sporting event but also the 3rd Tour de France Femmes Avec Zwift! Our very own Lou has hit the road in support of the race, and to celebrate we’ve brought back Flat Lou scatters as well. They DO count for Flat Scatter clan POINTS which is what is needed in August.

The race kicks off in Rotterdam and will come to a close in the French Alps, and you can follow along the InternationElles’s journey on CuppaZee HERE! Rob and Lou will be deploying physical and virtual InternationElles 2024 munzees from the InternationElles account as they make their way across the tour.

We wish we could join Lou and Rob at the finish line — the Alpe d’Huez appears to be a stunning ski resort both with snow and without! 🔥 Get Fired Up With An Elemental Community Challenge!

We’re celebrating Player AppreZEEation this month, but don’t let that make you think you got off easy in August! We’re constantly impressed with how much our players can achieve when you work together, so we’ve set up a new Community Challenge to really showcase your skills. Can your combined might master the elements? Rally your friends and family, team up to reach the goal, and everyone who participates will unlock special rewards. Read on to find out more!

Elemental Community Challenge

As a community, work together to earn 50,000,000 total points from Elemental Mysteries (including scatters)! This will be a month long challenge active from Thursday, August 1st at 00:01 MHQ to Saturday, August 31st at 23:59 MHQ. To give everyone a head start, all activity on Elemental Mysteries earlier this month will count towards the challenge progress. This should also benefit players who have already started working on their Clan Wars requirements for August!

• Goal: Earn 50 Million Total Points from Elemental Mysteries
  • As a mini-goal, each base Elemental Mystery type will also need a minimum of 100,000 Total Points earned
  • For example, 100,000 points earned just for the Earth Mystery (no scatters), etc.
• Challenge Starts: Thursday, August 1st at 00:01 MHQ
• Challenge Ends: Saturday, August 31st at 23:59 MHQ

If the community reaches the overall goal, everyone who participated will receive the first of a special new line of Elemental Mechz deployed on their account! Which Elemental Mech will be released first? That’s up to you! Whichever Elemental Mystery earns the most points during the challenge will determine which mech is received. NOTE – Players must have earned one of the two participation badges above in order to be eligible to receive the mech, so make sure you start working towards those goals. Along with the mech and blueprint badge, everyone will also earn an overall Community Challenge badge to commend your efforts!

We’ll keep the details about the Elemental Mech a mystery for now, but will reveal more information as the challenge gets closer to wrapping up! And with how driven the community is, it’s possible this goal may be reached sooner rather than later – and if that’s the case we’ve prepared another stretch goal with additional prizes! If the second goal is met, the community will unlock and be rewarded with a 2nd Elemental Mystery Mech!!

Creative Munzee players have changed the landscape of the worldwide map by deploying artfully arranged groups of pins for others to cap! Deploying in a virtual garden makes it much more likely that your virtual munzee will be capped or blasted by another player! The Garden Building tool has a number of different uses, so let’s breakdown how it all works!

Finding Gardens- A bird’s eye view of virtual gardens around the world!

• Browse Gardens around the world in either List or Map views, or Search for specific gardens by name or creator!

Viewing Gardens- An up close look at the ins and outs of specific gardens.

• Garden details make it easy to see which gardens need pins, and how many of each type of pin are available in the garden.
• You can also Reserve spots in a garden for up to 7 days, and then return to deploy later via the My Reservations tab.

Designing Gardens- Build your own virtual gardens from scratch with this user-friendly tool, or upload a pre-built garden.

• Using the CuppaZee Gardens tool makes it easy to create gardens out of pre-programmed shapes, or you can draw by hand!
• You can also upload your pre-built spreadsheets using the tool.
• You can use both the mobile app and web versions to build gardens with ease.

🎭 Set The Stage With Traveling Troupe Specials! 🎪

The New Dawn Festival has nearly come to an end, but we have one final surprise for all of our faithful players! A Traveling Troupe of performers have adventured all the way from Flatsville to regale the realm with all manner of showmanship! From NOW until Sunday, September 1st at 23:59 MHQ the Traveling Troupe will be bouncing around the map. For this particular festival there will be four different performers, but don’t be surprised if the Traveling Troupe stagecoach returns in the future with a new set of acts! So be sure to check out the show before they leave and then rediscover the bouncer again the next time it returns to town.

Traveling Troupe specials will be released in waves, but will end at a total of 3,000 on the map. They will bounce around every 4 hours or when capped. These stagecoaches are Munzee Owned Bouncers (MOBs) but they will land on Flat Munzees all across the realm!

These specials will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture a Traveling Troupe on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same Traveling Troupe visits you. These munzees will not be blastable. They will be attracted to magnets, available from the Freeze Tag Online Store. • The 1st line has 3 badges which are based on the total number of Traveling Troupe specials. You can see the title and description of the first badge in this line below.
• The 2nd line of badges are based on meeting all the Performers in the set a certain number of times. We’ll keep these a secret for now, but be on the lookout for more, and remember new performers may appear in the future so get this set of four while you can!

In the woods, a forest-dwelling dragon has appeared! Add this NEW Glass Guardian to your collection by completing your August capture streak and witness the nature-based beast!

If you completed your July capture streak, prepare to receive the Winged Glass Guardian Skin (and corresponding badge) in early August. Read on to learn more about the latest addition to the Glass Guardian family!
