✨🧙‍♂️ September 2024 GOTM Winners 🔥🐉

Last month, we announced exciting updates to the Garden of the Month (GOTM) program, including the use of the CuppaZee Gardens Tool to select future winners! Remember, all completed gardens are now eligible for nomination via the CuppaZee tool, and each month we’ll also invite special guest judges to help with the selection process.

For September, we decided to reach out to our two August GOTM winners, FlamingoFlurrier and denali0407, to serve as guest judges. With this month’s theme being “FantaZEE,” the judges faced a tough decision, but ultimately chose two gardens that truly capture the whimsical, dragon-filled spirit that has taken over the game this year.

A big Munzee congratulations to Baby Glass Gardian, designed by volatile, and Dragzee, designed by geomatrix, for being named the September GOTM winners! As always, special badges await the organizers and those who deployed in these fantastic creations. Thank you for helping our map continue to flourish with creativity and fantasy!

As we head into the spooky season for Halloween, the theme for October 2024 GOTM will be Creepy Crawlers! If you have a Creepy Crawlers-themed garden you’ve already created OR if you’re feeling ambitious and want to create a new themed Garden be sure to complete it by October!

🌞 Unite the Seasons with S0LSTiC3 Duo Mechz ❄️

Last year we celebrated the changing of the seasons with the launch of new EQUiN0X Duo Mechz! As the final days of Summer and Winter approach we want to celebrate the shifting seasons with all new S0LSTiC3 Duo Mechz!

Our newest set of duo Mechz are here to bring balance to both southern and northern hemispheres. Inspired by the Summer and Winter Solstices, the S0MM4R SPiNN3R, WINT3RBiN3, and S0LSTiC3 Mechz join forces to maintain the harmony between sun and snow. Read on to learn how these powerful Mechz can help you celebrate the solstice in style!

S0MM4R SPiNN3R, WINT3RBiN3, and S0LSTiC3 Details

Like the other Munzee Mechz, the S0MM4R SPiNN3R, WINT3RBiN3, and S0LSTiC3 are temporary POBs. The S0MM4R SPiNN3R and WINT3RBiN3 will remain on the map until they have been captured 5 times, while the S0LSTiC3 will remain on the map until it has been captured 3 times. Once the Mechz reach their capture limit they will be “tangled,” “gassed,” or in “winter blues” mode respectively, which results in more points for the capper.

You have the option of purchasing the WINT3RBiN3 in the Freeze Tag Store HERE and the S0MM4R SPiNN3R in the In-App Store for 750 Zeds. They’ll be in the stores until 12:00 MHQ on Friday, October 18th. Both will automatically deploy on your account upon purchase, and you’ll be able to rebuild them for 7 Cogs each. As for the S0LSTiC3 Mech, the only way to deploy it is by deploying both the S0MM4R SPiNN3R and WINT3RBiN3 Mechz within the same MHQ day. Once you’ve met this requirement, a new S0LSTiC3 Mech will be deployed on your account.

These Mechz will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture a S0MM4R SPiNN3R, WINT3RBiN3, or S0LSTiC3 on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same S0MM4R SPiNN3R, WINT3RBiN3, or S0LSTiC3 visits you. These munzees will not be blastable. They will be attracted to magnets, available from the Freeze Tag Online Store. You can access these Mechz under the “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When a S0MM4R SPiNN3R is captured, it will scatter up to 3 SunSpinners. Similarly, when a WINT3RBiN3 is captured, it will scatter up to 3 SnowJectiles. The S0LSTiC3 will scatter 1 SunSpinner and 1 SnowJectile.

Points:

• Capture: 50
• CapOn: 25

These scatters will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Mech owner’s account. This means there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes and have a capture radius of 300 feet. These scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

As with other Munzee Mechz, the badges for deploying the S0MM4R SPiNN3R and WINT3RBiN3 depict the Blueprints, and are shown below:

There are 4 more badges associated with these Mechz: the first is for deploying a S0LSTiC3 Mech. The remaining 3 are for capturing each of these Mechz. We’ll keep these badges a secret for now.

👀 Stay Alert with Flat Cup Scatters! ☕

UPDATE: Flat Cup Scatters have been extended through Wednesday, September 25th! Please note that if you meet the requirement for the NEW Killer Cold Brew badge after the original end date of September 15, 23:59 MHQ, it may take a little longer for the badge to be awarded as our code is updated. Starting NOW until Sunday Wednesday, September 15 25, 2024 at 23:59 MHQ, Flat Cups will temporarily scatter 1-3 Cups of Coffee!

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Thursday, September 12 at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday Wednesday, September 15th 25th at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture Flat Cups, up to 3 Coffee Cups may be scattered nearby!

The Coffee Cup Flat scatters will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat Cup owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers/Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These Virtual scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for the Coffee Cups are as follows:

• Capture: 50 points
• CapOn: 25 points
