Weā€™re bringing back some good olā€™ fashioned prankster fun! You may remember our past Flamingo Flocking event. This yearā€™s April Fools celebration is inspired by a classic gag you may have seen IRL: the olā€™ glue-a-coin-to-the-ground-and-watch-people-try-to-pick-it-up trick. Itā€™s harmless, hilarious, and perfect for the mischievous spirit of the day! Naturally, we couldnā€™t let April 1st pass without pulling a few tricks ourselvesā€”so weā€™ve brought this timeless prank into the Munzee world with a brand-new batch of Penny Pinchers specials! The map is now covered with shiny coins featuring none other than Cappy the Unicornā€™s faceā€”because heā€™s on the hunt for his Lucky Penny!

But hereā€™s the catch… not all of these pennies can be picked up!

It seems Lokiā€”the Norse Modern Myth who just so happens to run a Prank Shopā€”got wind of Cappyā€™s search and couldnā€™t resist having a little fun of his own. Heā€™s gone and stuck a bunch of these coins to the ground using bubble gum! Gross! Now Cappy needs your help figuring out which ones are real Lucky Penniesā€¦ and which are just sticky traps set by Loki!

From the period ofĀ Tuesday, April 1st at 12:00 MHQ through Thursday, April 3rd at 12:00 MHQ, if you’ve captured all the munzees near you, you’ll be happy to discover that your map has been flashMOBBED! ALL Greenies will have the “mask munzees” shown below applied to them. As before, what we mean by “mask munzee” is that they appear on top of a host munzee, similar to a bouncing munzee, but once capped they do NOT bounce anywhere else. You have “removed” the mask.

Think of them as the link between Widdlz and Mechz! Each month will see the release of a new PakRat launching exclusively through the MunzPak this year.

Get ready for a foolishly fun month! April brings fresh Clan War requirements to keep everyone on their toes. Weā€™re continuing the adjustments to Level 1, ensuring new players can jump in with ease, while we hope our seasoned ELITE players will find Levels 4-6 as thrillingly challenging as ever. Whether you’re warming up for the battles ahead or aiming to hit every target, thereā€™s plenty of fun and rewards waiting this month. Let the April games begin!

April Badges

Your Clan can earn monthly badges by reaching certain levels in Clan Wars. But remember, you only get a badge (and rewards) if the whole clan reaches that level. In April, there are six badges up for grabs. Here’s a sneak peak at the Level 2 badge:

*The Itty Bitty Kitty tPOBĀ will be available to claim as a special trade in the Premium section of the redeem store beginning April 3rd. Cost will be 0 zeds (that’s right, ZERO zeds). The Itty Bitty Kitty will be auto-deployed on your account when redeemed.

Older (but still important) reminders:

QRates must be found during the current clan war (after 00:10 on April 3rd) ā€” give the system a few minutes to fully switch into the new battle.

Mystery caps/deploys will count for Mystery and all Elemental Mystery types.

Evo bouncer points are all deploy, cap or capon points from any type of Evo Bouncer. These include the final forms of Butterfly, Turtle, Frog, Jellyfish, Pumpkin, Bee, and Duck. See Nature Evolutions in CuppaZee – Explore Bouncers.

Streak Bouncer Scatter points are all capture, deploy, and cap on points from the scatters that belong to the set of Garden bouncers. This includes garden gnome hats, garden flamingo feathers, garden hedge flowers, glass guardian marbles, and the MunzShrooms. In CuppaZee they are called Streak Bouncers scatters.

Storyland Bouncer points are Cap/Deploy/CapOn from any bouncer in the Storyland set of POBs.Ā

What’s the difference between “non-generic” and “generics”?

This one is easy. Generic codes can be shared between accounts. They are attached to an account when deployed, or used to replace. Non-Generic codes are tied directly to the player account that creates them. Both types can be used with credits to convert to special munzees. Non-Generic codes are free while Generic codes come at a cost.

Updated Undeployed Limits for Creating Non-Generic codes

Weā€™ve made some exciting updates to the undeployed limits for Premium Members in relation to your ability to create new non-generic codes!
Previously, the undeployed limit of 250 Munzees included both Physical and Virtual Munzees, but weā€™ve now split them up. Moving forward, the undeployed list will only count Physical Munzees toward the limit ā€” Virtual Munzees will no longer count! This means Premium Players can hold more Physical Munzees in their undeployed list without worrying about Virtual Munzees taking up space.

To keep things balanced, weā€™re adjusting the max undeployed limit for Premium Members from 250 Munzees of any type down to 100 Physical Munzees. This change does not affect Generic Codes. You will be able to purchase generic codes above the limit of 100 because generic codes can be shared between accounts, and are used for maintenance.

Non-Premium limits remain unchanged at 25 total Munzees (both Physical and Virtual combined) in the undeployed list in order to create more non-generic codes. If you’d like to take advantage of these Premium bonuses, you can sign up online HERE!

This update gives Premium Players more flexibility to prep for their next big deploying adventure ā€” a thank you for their support of the game.

The Widdl Zombie is no ordinary Widdl ā€” itā€™s already maxed out at Level 10, so youā€™ll be raking in those high-tier points right from the start! Plus, you can redeploy the Widdl Zombie directly from a Wishing Well for just 25 Stars, just like your other Level 10 Widdlz. As a reminder, thisĀ is a temporary POB that will remain on the map for 5 days.

This Widdl can be spotted on the landing pads listed above every 1 hour or when captured.

This Widdl will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture this Widdl on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same Widdl visits you. This Widdl is non-blastable. It will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access this Widdl by turning on your ā€œAll Expiring Specialsā€ filter.

Well Wisp Scatter Bonus

When this Widdl is captured, it will scatter a Well Wisp nearby to start a trail. These are the same Well Wisps from the Daily Stroll, which will be deployed on the Wishmaster account.

Sometimes birds of different feathers can still flock together! From NOW through the 23rd, the Flat Typewriter will be scattering a selection of charming stories when captured. Whether youā€™re a fan of mysteries, musicals, romances, or comedies, thereā€™s a story for every reader! Read on to find out what new story Craig has written this time!

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Wednesday, March 19th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, March 23rd at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Typewriter, up to 3 different Stories may be scattered nearby!

As with other Flat Scatters, the Stories will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat Typewriter ownerā€™s account. This means that unlike Feathers / Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and youā€™ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well!Ā These story scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for Stories are as follows:

  • Capture: 50 points
  • CapOn: 25 points
