Can’t Attend in Person? Join the Fun Remotely!

Even if you’re not traveling to attend in person, you can still participate in Munzee Mirage from anywhere! Deploy virtuals, cards, and other Munzees near the event locations so that players attending the events have plenty to capture. They’ll enjoy the thrill of the hunt while you earn bonus CapOn points from their captures.

Here are a couple easy ways to deploy near the events:

Deploying from the Munzee Website

You can visit the event pages below to view the exact event locations and deploy near them directly from the map!

Deploying from the Munzee App

You can also easily deploy near the events directly from the Munzee app.

  1. Open the Menu in the Munzee app
  2. Tap Munzee Events
  3. Sort events by Soonest
  4. Look for events titled “Munzee Mirage”
  5. Tap into the event details
  6. Tap Deploy Near Event to jump to the event location

Once you’re viewing the event location on the map, tap and hold the QR button at the bottom of the screen to open the Quick Deploy menu, then choose a virtual to deploy!

Advanced Gameplay Tip: CapOn Boosters!!

Want to maximize the CapOn points you earn during the events? Consider grabbing a CapOn Booster and activating it near the start of the event! These boosters double the CapOn points you earn for 90 minutes. You can activate one right before the event begins, or wait until you start seeing captures roll in from players at the event and then activate it to maximize the boosted points.

CapOn Boosters are available in the app for 90 Zeds each and online in a 10-pack bundle (with extra virtuals!) for $10: https://store.freezetag.com/products/capon-booster-pack

Attending the Events in Person?

If you’re planning to join us in person, be sure to visit the event pages above and mark that you’re attending so we can plan accordingly! There may even be a little surprise in store for players who attend and stop by to say hello!

Several members of the MHQ team and friends will be there, including:

From Friday, November 6th at 00:01 MHQ through Sunday, November 8th at 23:59 MHQ, players will earn double points on Greenies, Cards, Flats, Virtual Colors, Jewels, Mysteries, and Evolutions. If you’re planning to deploy items that qualify for double deploy points, you may want to wait until the event begins to maximize your rewards!
