🦘 Combo Flat Scatter Event for M8 Day! 🧢

This year for M8 day, SMS and Rob are finally calling a truce and burying the hatchet after last year’s battle! The rivalry may be cooling down, but the adventure is just heating up—so grab your gear and get ready to join the fun Down Under!

From NOW through May 10th, Flat Aussie and Flat Rob will be scattering their usual Aussie artifacts and hats when captured. Will you be able to track them down, collect the full set, and earn a special badge for this event?!

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Thursday, May 7th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, May 10th at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Aussie, up to 3 different Aussie Artifacts may be scattered nearby! Similarly, when you capture a Flat Rob, up to 3 different Hats may be scattered nearby!

As with other Flat Scatters, the Aussie Artifacts and Hats will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers / Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for Aussie Artifacts and Hats are as follows:

  • Capture: 50 points
  • CapOn: 25 points

In addition, if you missed out on the badges from the original launch events (Flat Aussie Scatters | Flat Rob Scatters), you’ll be able to earn them as well. You can see what these badges look like below. Make sure you cap as many Flat Aussies and Flat Robs as you can to receive all the badges!

⚔️ Gauntlet Weapon Deploy Event 🛡️

The Gauntlet Games have begun! We’ve seen the excitement around the new Forged Gauntlet Weapons, and we know a lot of you are ready to put them to the test! Since they’ve only been available as Gauntlet Games (formerly known as “Clan Wars”) rewards, newer players — or anyone who hasn’t jumped into the Gauntlet yet — haven’t had many chances to get their hands on them.

So we’re opening things up! For a limited time, Gauntlet Weapons are available in the Freeze Tag Store HERE — and if you’ve already grabbed your max limit of 3 or want even more ways to build your arsenal, we’ve got something special lined up for you…

🔨 Put the Pedal to the Metal!

As mentioned in last week’s Gauntlet Games launch post, we’ve prepared a special deploy event where you can earn Gauntlet Weapons for deploying certain types, running from Sunday May 3, 2026 at 00:01 MHQ until Sunday May 10, 2026 at 23:59 MHQ:

LIMIT 1 OF EACH WEAPON EARNED EVERY 24 HOURS — meaning after you deploy one of the types listed above, you must wait 24 hours before deploying the next one of the same type category for it to count.

🐲 Gauntlet Games Universal

If you’re excited for this new take on team play, show your enthusiasm with the Gauntlet Games Universal! With the best features of both Social and Personal Munzees, players can capture Universals from anywhere, and activity on it earns points. Due to its high value, we are limiting it to one per player. Don’t miss out on this limited edition Universal—available HERE.

A Universal has the same point structure as a regular Personal:

  • Capture: mystery random points 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45
  • CapOn: sum of 50 between player capture and residual
    • Example: player capture = 30, owner residual = 20. Total = 50
  • Deploy: 100 points (only deploy it once with no proximity or expiration!)

**Boosters will have no effect on Universal points.

Lumberjack PakRat Details

The Lumberjack PakRat is the sixteenth PakRat, a NEW line of tPOBs which have the unique feature of requiring Twigz to rebuild, and earn Cogs for the owner upon archival. Think of them as the link between Widdlz and Mechz! Each month will see the release of a new PakRat launching exclusively through the MunzPak this year.

They will remain on the map until they have been captured 10 times. When you purchase a MunzPak, you will receive a fully-built Lumberjack PakRat that auto-deploys. You will also be able to rebuild it when you have earned enough Twigz in the future. For now, the Lumberjack PakRat will be available in this month’s MunzPak only — meaning the deadline to get one is 23:59 MHQ on Sunday, May 31st.
