NEW Pumpkin Prize Machine Details

  • Capture the Pumpkin Prize Machine once a day to receive a prize
    • It MUST be captured 13 days in a row to receive all 13 prizes, similar to a mailbox and the Dice Tower.
    • You might receive a different prize than others on a given day, but everyone will have received all the same prizes by the end of the 13 days.
    • It will be auto-archived at the end of the 13th day after being deployed.
  • After receiving a prize, the Pumpkin Prize Machine will be auto-magnetized to attract 1 bouncer for you to capture
    • NOTE – It may take some time for a bouncer to land, so be sure to check back again soon
  • The Pumpkin Prize Machine also acts as a standard landing pad, which means you can capture a bouncer anytime it lands there!
  • Other players will also be able to capture your Pumpkin Prize Machine, but will not receive a prize.
    • Non-owners can also capture it whenever a bouncer is sitting on it.

Secret ZeeOps – Spellbound & Down (October 2024)

Are you willing to risk life and limb at potentially haunted locations?! An ALL NEW Secret ZeeOps is now available in the ZeeOps Hub for the usual cost of 1,500 Zeds until 23:59 MHQ on November 30th. Remember, if you’ve purchased a Secret ZeeOp, you can complete it and collect rewards even after it is no longer available for purchase.

Agents, disturbing reports of supernatural activity are on the rise. Whether or not you believe in such things, you must be thorough in your investigation and neutralize any threats you may discover. Completing a series of missions will unlock new levels in this operation. There are three levels, each with five missions. If you conquer every mission in Operation: Spellbound & Down, you’ll earn a celebratory badge, the NEW V01D Guardian MECH (info below), and more exciting rewards listed in the app!

 

NEW Mech Details

Like the other Munzee Mechz, V01D Guardian is a temporary POB that will remain on the map until it has been captured 15 times.

Landing Pads

This plump portal can be spotted on the landing pads listed above every 6 hours or when captured.

V01D Guardian will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture V01D Guardian on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same V01D Guardian visits you. V01D Guardian is non-blastable. It will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access V01D Guardian by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When V01D Guardian is captured, it will scatter up to 3 V01D Busters on the Mech owner’s account.

These scatters will be visible to any player and expire after 120 minutes. They have a capture radius of 300 feet. Since they are passive deploys, these scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity.

🐉 NEW Limited-Time Elder Dragon Drop! 🎃

Are you ready to take your dragon mastery to the next level? We’re thrilled to introduce our latest addition to the Dragon Trainer Specials: NEW Drac-O’-Lantern! This new type of Elder Dragon will function the same way as the other Elder Dragons, but instead of hatching from an egg, when purchased from the Freeze Tag Store, this will be deployed as a Temporary Player Owned Bouncer (tPOB) on your account. You can purchase the Drac-O’-Lantern as part of our new Drac-O’-Lantern Pack HERE. The pack will only be available until Friday, November 1st, at 12:00 MHQ — after that, it will likely be another year before the Drac-O’-Lantern is ripe to return.

Please note that once the Elder Dragon has been captured 20 times it will be archived and a new Dragon Egg will be deployed in its place. Then the cycle will continue as with other Dragon Trainer types.

Watch as your new Elder Dragon follows the cycle of rebirth into a Dragon Egg, hatching, evolving into Baby Dragons and, eventually, back into an Elder.

  • When capped 20 times the Drac-O’-Lantern will be reborn as a Striped Dragon Egg!
  • Once the Dragon Egg has been capped 10 times it will evolve into a new Twilight Baby Dragon!

✨📗 Unveiling the Munzdex: The Ultimate Munzee Type Tracker 👀✅

We’re excited to announce a brand-new addition to the game that will help both new and veteran players keep track of their Munzee journey—introducing the Munzdex! This magical new area is designed to give you an overview of all the different Munzees you’ve encountered and captured. Whether you’re striving to capture every type or are just curious about what’s still out there, the Munzdex is your go-to guide. Special thanks to Sam Hindess (aka sohcah), the creator of CuppaZee, for helping us bring this feature to life! To access this latest feature, you’ll need to make sure you’re on the latest version of Munzee from the App Stores (4.1.221 on iOS, 4.1.222 on Android), then restart the app to pull down the latest over-the-air update version #1137.

Dive into the Munzdex and track your Munzee records!

To access this feature, simply head over to the Camp Hub and tap on the new green magical book icon located in the bottom right corner of your screen. Once there, you’ll be able to explore your personal Munzee records and see how much more you need to conquer!

The Munzdex not only shows a full list of Munzee types, but it also tracks which ones you’ve captured! At the top, you’ll find the six most recently captured types, making it easy to see your latest activity.

Below the “Recently Captured” section, we’ve organized the types into categories. Tap on one, and you’ll find that the types have been further organized into subcategories. As there are over 5,000 Munzee types, we’ve attempted to organize them in an intuitive way, but it does mean it can take 2 – 3 taps before you arrive at some of the more specific types you desire.

If you haven’t captured a type, its pin image will be greyed out and the text beneath it will show “–“. Otherwise, it will show the colored pin image with its name and count of your captures beneath. Whether you’ve captured a type before or not, when you tap on one, a larger colored pin image will display, along with the type’s name and your capture count, if applicable, in larger font. You can tap the [<] button to go back to the previous screen, or tap on any of the buttons in the “See More” section at the bottom of the screen, to jump to one of the related categories.

We’re thrilled to provide this new tool and enhance the Camp Hub! We’ve got much more in store to take your Munzee Adventure further.

Rob is back and ready to celebrate National Mad Hatter Day with a little extra flair! From NOW throughout the weekend, Flat Rob will be scattering a variety of whimsical hats when captured. Whether you’re a fan of top hats, bowler hats, or even something more eccentric, there’s a hat for every occasion!

Get ready to track down these hat-tastic scatters and earn points as you join Rob in the Mad Hatter Day festivities!

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Thursday, October 3rd at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, October 6th at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Rob, up to 3 Hats may be scattered nearby!

As before, the Hats will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat Rob owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers/Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These hat scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys. However these scatters are the first (of 2) scatter events for higher level Clan requirements this month.

The rewards for Hats are as follows:

  • Capture: 50 points
  • CapOn: 25 points

Wiggle Into NEW Glow Worm Gardens! 🐛🌟🌎

We’ve already tasked you with shining the light on creepy crawlers this month, but now we need your help with some neon invertebrates! Are you ready to join the Glow Worm Invasion?

Glow Worm Gardens are invading the map, but its up to YOU to help this nightcrawler community grow! These will be player-created Gardens, and by deploying in a Glow Worm Garden you’ll earn an exclusive badge, plus a special additional badge if you deploy 10 or more virtuals collectively in Official Glow Worm Gardens* as well. We’re keeping the badge designs a secret for now, but they will be delivered in early November as long as you fulfill the criteria. Remember, the badge is only for deploying in the Official Gardens.

If you would like a Glow Worm to pop up in your area, help us out by designing one in CuppaZee Gardens. We’ve put together a Glow Worm Garden Pak, which is available in the Freeze Tag Store. This Pak includes everything you need to help deploy Glow Worms across the world for the very discounted price of $25!

Take these simple designs and build huge nests of Glow Worm Gardens!

Here are the rules for building an Official Glow Worm Garden.

  1. ONLY 10 virtual pins – make them bright so it GLOWS on the map.
  2. Build in your area, or an area nearby that will get plenty of caps!**
  3. Be creative with your design but still make it look like a worm (with only 10 pins). Garden Name: Glow Worm
  4. Add the “Munzee” username as an Editor.
    1. Munzee will become the owner, rename with a Garden number, and make “OFFICIAL”. (Please allow 24 hours – manual process)
  5. Do not publish. Munzee will publish the garden when all the above have been completed.
  6. Please limit yourself to creating one Garden per user. If more Gardens are needed we will make an announcement with an updated limit.

Now, we know what you’re thinking: These designs are about as impressive as a snake shaped balloon animal- but that’s the point! We wanted to offer an easy design experience for first time garden builders and partner it with an affordable option so anyone can deploy a garden in their area. You’ll still need to help each other out if you want to build worm farms around the world, but take advantage of this special deal to learn more about the CuppaZee Gardens Tool!

*Find Official Glow Worm Gardens via the search feature on CuppaZee Gardens using term: Glow Worm Garden. They will be owned by Munzee and will be numbered.
