St. Patrick’s Day Weekend UPDATE

A reminder that starting Friday March 17th at 00:01 MHQ Munzee is going GREEN with a 3x Point Weekend! Greenies, Shamrocks and Emerald munzees will all be worth 3 times as many points for captures, deploys or cap-ons.

Wait, what’s that? Some of our other munzees are a bit GREEN with envy…

We’re pleased to announce Green Virtuals, Green Mystery Virtuals, and Green and Dark Green MVMs will also be worth triple points!

So to recap:

From Friday, March 17th at 00:01 MHQ time until Sunday, March 19th at 23:59 MHQ time, we’ll be having a 3x Point Weekend for our favorite green munzees, including:

  • Greenies
  • Shamrocks
  • Emeralds
  • Green Virtuals
  • Green Mystery Virtuals
  • Green MVMs
  • Dark Green MVMs

Dark Green MVM

This will effect all points — Deploys, Captures, and CapOns.

Don’t forget that in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, Leprechauns will also be bouncing faster than normal. During this time frame, Leprechauns will bounce every 6 hours (or when capped) instead of every 12 hours.

Be on the lookout for three secret Luck Of The Irish badges that can only be earned this weekend too. These are for capping Greenies and Leprechauns, but you’ll have to figure out just how many! Here’s a hint of where to start though…

Introducing The Faun Mythological Munzee!

Something wild this way comes… The Faun Mythological Munzee!

As the first member of our Classical Mythology set, the Faun is a woodland creature not unlike the Leprechaun. This half goat- half human fella is known for guiding tourists in the forest and has a penchant for all things Earthy.

1,500 Faun Mythological Munzees will go on sale Monday February 20th at 15:00 MHQ Time in the Munzee Online Store for $20. Similar to other mythological releases, each player is limited to one each, but the sale is open to anyone- no matter if you have previous mythologicals or not. These furry forest dwellers are attracted to Earth Mystery Munzees, which are also for sale in the online store.

Introducing the Myth Wrangler Badge!

For over a year now our players have travelled the world in search of the mythological munzees, capturing Unicorns, Leprechauns, Dragons and Yetis. While many have captured all four, an even rarer feat will now be awarded: The Myth Wrangler Badge.

This badge is for the best of the best who can capture all 4 Mythological Munzees in one day- based on MHQ time. A collection like this isn’t easy to come by, but we know you will persevere!

This badge IS retroactive and will begin awarding at 00:01 MHQ time TOMORROW (December 22).
