Zodiac Credit and Air Mystery Munzee Availability; Flat Robs and Flat Matts for September

Zodiac Credits and Air Mystery Munzees were introduced in August’s Physical and Virtual MunzPak, respectively. Starting tomorrow at 10:00 MHQ time, they will be available in the Munzee Online Store. Air Mystery Munzees will be $2 (with a limit of 10 per month per account) and Zodiac Credits will be $1. But that’s not all: Premium Members will receive one free Air Mystery Munzee tomorrow** as well! These will both be helpful for September Clan Wars and ZeeOps!

On another note, we’ve got the schedules* for Flat Rob and Flat Matt for September.

Matt will be attending events in Spartanburg, South Carolina this weekend to kick off a new tourism trail as part of a project for one of our players who is a Girl Scout working on her Silver Scout award. August Schedule for Flat Robs and Flat Matts

August has rolled around, and we’re excited about everything that is happening. Rob and Matt will be out of the office a few times this month, so that means their Flat counterparts will be on the map! Below are the current schedules for them:

Flat Robs

  • August 12th at 00:01 MHQ time through August 20th at 23:59 MHQ time

Flat Matts

  • August 11th at 00:01 MHQ time through August 20th at 23:59 MHQ time
  • August 23rd from 00:01 to 23:59 MHQ time
  • August 31st from 00:01 to 23:59 MHQ time

Both Rob and Matt are still on the lookout for events to attend, so keep an eye out for more dates that may be added!

MHQ Visit Requests

We love it when players choose to visit MHQ. To give you the best experience possible, we would love for you to let us know in advance. This is especially the case if you are traveling long distances and have a limited time to visit MHQ.

To ensure you have a great time visiting us, we have set up a Google Form that can be found here and on our contact page.

After filling out this form (which contains contact information and date/time of visit among other things), you will be contacted by Teraca (our Director of HR) to confirm your visit as well as let you know any pertinent information. If there is a conflict with your request, she will try and work out a solution with you.

**Please note that it is not necessary to fill out this form when attending official MHQ events found on the Munzee Calendar such as our 6th Birthday Event or MHQ Bash. The on-site Munzee store is also open anytime during our work hours, so this form is specific to those players who are interested in a special tour/visit.

We’ve had players from all over the world visit MHQ, and we can’t wait to meet more people. Schedule your visit today!

Flat Matt is back!

After a successful first weekend on the map, Flat Matt has taken Monday off, but he’ll be back June 6th at 00:01 MHQ. Flat Matts will be live on the map until 23:59 MHQ on June 7th, so take advantage while you can.

Remember, Flat Matt only comes out when various Texas sports teams have home games so be ready to cheer along with him!

Flat Matt has hit the map!

Flat Matts are now officially for sale in the Munzee Online Store! Flat Matt virtual credits are $5 each and we have also decreased the price of Flat Robs to $4. You can purchase them both HERE! (Side Note: Timeshares are also for sale HERE!)

Although Flat Rob comes out to play when Rob is traveling, Flat Matts will be live on the map during days with specific sporting events. Flat Matt is a big fan of all sorts of sports, but he is especially fond of teams in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. To kick things off, Flat Matt is spending the weekend watching baseball with Flat Rob so both will be on the map from now until Sunday, June 4th at 23:59 MHQ.

To give you a bit of an idea of when Flat Matt will be on the map, here is the schedule for the month of June:

Here is the general breakdown of Flat Matts:

Points:

Deploy – 19 Points
Cap/CapOn – Split 92 points with a minimum of 10 points.

Proximity: 

Flat Matts’ proximity is not affected by other munzees except other Flat Matts and Flat Robs. Flat Matts must be 50ft from other players’ deploys and 150ft from your own deploys.

You’ll also be able to earn a variety of badges for capturing and deploying Flat Matts.

Premium Membership Updates

It’s the end of the month and with everything going on we wanted to make sure our Premium Members felt a little love. In May we released Premium Munzee Badges to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the program and now we’re happy to offer some more freebies to our players.

We’re pleased to announce that Munzee Premium Members will receive one free Timeshare Munzee credit and one free Flat Matt Munzee tomorrow at 12:00 MHQ. EDIT: This is a one-time only bonus for current Premium Members. It will not be added to future Premium Membership purchases.

You should see both credits in your account tomorrow at noon, which is also when both Timeshares and Flat Matts go on sale in the Munzee Online Store. 

We’re also excited to announce that starting now Premium Members will begin receiving 10 ZeeCred a month to go toward ZeeOps operations. These will be awarded on the 15th of each month.
