🔥🏝️ Secret ZeeOps – Fire Fight (June 2025)

Can you save the enchanted forest from going up in flames?! An ALL NEW Secret ZeeOps is now available in the ZeeOps Hub for the usual cost of 1,500 Zeds until 23:59 MHQ on July 31st. Remember, if you’ve purchased a Secret ZeeOp, you can complete it and collect rewards even after it is no longer available for purchase.

Agents, an ominous black cloud has settled over an island in the Bermuda Triangle. Local flora and fauna are succumbing to the effects of breathing in noxious fumes — even without an obvious burning fire, the lack of oxygen is choking them. Your mission is to find the origin of the smoke, extinguish the accompanying blaze, and assist in any relief efforts for the island residents.

Completing a series of missions will unlock new levels in this operation. There are three levels, each with five missions. If you conquer every mission in Operation: Fire Fight, you’ll earn a hot new badge, the NEW FL4M3 Guardian (info below), and more exciting rewards listed in the app!

NEW Mech Details

Like the other Munzee Mechz, FL4M3 Guardian is a temporary POB that will remain on the map until it has been captured 15 times.

Landing Pads

This champion chiminea hobbles to the landing pads listed above every 6 hours or when captured.

This mech will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture this mech on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same mech visits you. This mech is non-blastable. It will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access this mech by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When FL4M3 Guardian is captured, it will scatter up to 3 FL4M3 Spears on the Mech owner’s account.

These scatters will be visible to any player and expire after 120 minutes. They have a capture radius of 300 feet. Since they are passive deploys, these scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity.

📍🌱🌍 Deploy in a Bouncing Virtual Garden!

Ready for liftoff? The wait is over—you now have a chance to deploy in the very first public Bouncing Virtual Gardens (BVGs)! This is a historic moment in the world of Munzee, and we’re inviting YOU to be part of it. In case you missed our introductory blog post, BVGs are uniquely designed gardens composed of Bouncing Virtual Colors (BVCs)—a new Temporary Virtual type that will bounce around the map once the garden is full! Each BVC will remain active for 6 weeks before it archives, so you’ll want to act fast if you hope to secure a spot in this one-of-a-kind launch.

🎈 Hot Air Balloon Launch Schedule

We’re kicking off the first wave of BVGs with four colorful Hot Air Balloon designs! Each garden will launch at a different time to give players around the world a fair shot at deploying. A single Bouncing Virtual pin costs $5.00, and each player may purchase up to 2 BVCs per garden. Remember that you can earn a badge for capturing all the pins in a BVG, each shown below:

DEADLINE: Since BVGs must be full before they can start to bounce, we will automatically fill all remaining open BVG spots above with staff account deploys after this Thursday, June 19th at 10:00 MHQ! These BVGs will be scheduled to start bouncing by this Thursday, June 19th at 12:00 MHQ! Or 3 hours after the last BVG has been filled, during MHQ hours. Whichever comes first!

These Hot-Headed Munzees are FlashMOBs just like the Cursed Munzees from last year. This means that the Hot-Headed Munzees are actually a “mask” applied on top of a host munzee: similar to a bouncing munzee, but once capped, they do NOT bounce anywhere else. You have “removed” the mask. All Hot-Headed Munzees will have these new types placed on top of them – only the first to capture on each type will be able to get them! So hurry and rush to capture them before others do!

Upon capturing a Hot-Headed Munzee, up to 3 Hot-Headed Wisps may drift nearby. This is the curse’s last attempt to cling to the map—if it can’t hold onto its original host, it will try to spread its hot-headed affliction through these lingering Wisps! Cap them quickly before the anger spreads any further!

Putting out these Hot-Headed Munzees won’t be easy, but Cappy knows true bravery (or at least fiery dedication) deserves to be rewarded! To honor those who go above and beyond, he’s commissioned two special badges for this event.

The first, which you can see below, is for capturing at least 13 Hot-Headed Wisps—a challenge worthy of Friday the 13th!

This year for International Corgi Day, we wanted to mix things up! With the paw-pularity of the Purrito Card we thought it would be fun to feature both animal-themed Flats! From NOW through June 8th, the Flat Murray and Flat Cats will be scattering pet toys when captured. Will you be able to collect them all and earn a special badge for this event?!

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Tuesday, June 3rd at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, June 8th at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Murray, up to 3 different Dog Toys may be scattered nearby! Similarly, when you capture Flat Cats, up to 3 different Cat Toys may be scattered nearby!

As with other Flat Scatters, the Pet Toys will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers / Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These pet toy scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for Pet Toys are as follows:

Conductive PakRat Details

The Conductive PakRat is the fifth PakRat, a NEW line of tPOBs which have the unique feature of requiring Twigz to rebuild, and earn Cogs for the owner upon archival. Think of them as the link between Widdlz and Mechz! Each month will see the release of a new PakRat launching exclusively through the MunzPak this year.

We’re continuing the adjustments to Level 1, ensuring new players can jump in with ease, while we hope our seasoned ELITE players will find Levels 4-6 as thrillingly challenging as ever. Your Clan can earn monthly badges by reaching certain levels in Clan Wars. But remember, you only get a badge (and rewards) if the whole clan reaches that level. In June, there are six badges up for grabs. Here’s a sneak peak at the Level 1 badge:

*The Itty Bitty Kitty tPOB will be available to claim as a special trade in the Premium section of the redeem store beginning June 3rd. Cost will be 0 zeds (that’s right, ZERO zeds). The Itty Bitty Kitty will be auto-deployed on your account when redeemed.

Older (but still important) reminders:

QRates must be found during the current clan war (after 00:10 on June 3rd) — give the system a few minutes to fully switch into the new battle.

Mystery caps/deploys will count for Mystery and all Elemental Mystery types.

Evo bouncer points are all deploy, cap or capon points from any type of Evo Bouncer. These include the final forms of Butterfly, Turtle, Frog, Jellyfish, Pumpkin, Bee, and Duck. See Nature Evolutions in CuppaZee – Explore Bouncers.

Streak Bouncer Scatter points are all capture, deploy, and cap on points from the scatters that belong to the set of Garden bouncers. A loving new chef has joined the kitchen! This NEW entremétier MunzShroom uses her favorite wine to add complexity to family recipes! Add the MaSala MunzShroom to your collection by completing your capture streak in June and look forward to a piping hot plate of pasta!

If you completed your May capture streak, prepare to receive the SirFry MunzShroom Skin (and corresponding badge) in early June. Read on to learn more about the latest addition to the MunzShroom family!

If you haven’t picked up a base MunzShroom yet, they are available in the Freeze Tag Store for $8.

As a reminder, this is how to have a permanent MunzShroom on your account next year:

  • Own at least 8 MunzShrooms by the end of the year.
    • Each month, the price of a MunzShroom will decrease by $1.
    • However, players can only purchase 1 MunzShroom every 28 days.

These board-game bots will make a move towards the landing pads listed above every 6 hours or when captured.

They will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture them on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same mech visits you. They are non-blastable. They will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access these mechz by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When a KillerQueen is captured, it will scatter up to 3 KillerStingers on the Mech owner’s account. Similarly, when a KingKruel is captured, it will scatter up to 3 KingCrowns on the Mech owner’s account.

🦘 Chase Flat Aussie Scatters with your Mates! 🪃

Though the Flat Aussie was launched just earlier this year, we wanted to make sure the accompanying scatters were released just in time for M8 (“Mates”) Day! From NOW through the May 11th, the Flat Aussie will be scattering Australian artifacts when captured. Will you be able to collect all of the eye-catching and intricate designs? Read on to learn more about the special badges you can earn for this event!

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Thursday, May 8th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, May 11th at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Aussie, up to 3 different Aussie Artifacts may be scattered nearby!

As with other Flat Scatters, the Artifacts will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat Aussie owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers / Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These artifact scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for Artifacts are as follows:

  • Capture: 50 points
  • CapOn: 25 points
