ZeeOps: March 2018 Missions

Agents, seemingly out of nowhere the Mean Green Gang has made it’s presence felt in a BIG way. They have publicly announced their return and opened towering new headquarters in a number of major cities. What could they possibly gain by making their crime syndicate known all across the world?

The Mean Green Gang has a new battle plan- an international PR campaign! They claim to be called the “Miracle Green Group” and are a beacon of hope and world peace. We can’t allow the public to be tricked by their propaganda. It’s up to you to defeat the Mean Green Gang once more and expose them for the villains they are!

March 2018 ZeeOps Operations are now live and you can begin planning your Missions to start on the following day. You can plan your Operations at munzee.com/ops/ and purchase more ZeeCred in the Munzee Online Store. Remember that if you hit a snag at any point in your Operation you can use the new Mission Mulligan feature to keep going!

By completing any Operation this month you’ll earn the “Operation: Gone Green” badge.

This month’s Missions are as follows:

LEVEL 1:

Basic Training + – Earn at least 1,000 points.
Defensive Training– Deploy at least 10 munzees.
Offensive Training– Capture at least 25 munzees.
Green Grades I– Capture at least 15 Greenies.
Green Grades II- Deploy at least 5 Greenies.

LEVEL 2:

Group Training + – Earn at least 1,000 cap-on points.
Virtual Surreality– Capture at least 100 virtual munzees of any type.
Emerald Enemies– Capture at least 25 Greenies.
Green Guys – Deploy at least 10 Greenies
It’s Not Easy Being Green– Capture at least 15 and deploy at least 5 Greenies

LEVEL 3:

Advanced Training– Earn at least 10,000 points.
Always Aware– Deploy at least 50 physical munzees of any type.
Green Eye In The Sky- Capture at least 35 Greenies.
Public Zee-lations– Deploy at least 15 Greenies.
Put The ME In MEAN– Capture at least 20 and deploy at least 10 Greenies.

LEVEL 4: 

Expert Training– Earn at least 50,000 points.
Get The Green– Capture at least 50 Greenies.
Green Gone Good?– Deploy at least 25 Greenies.
Mean & Green – Capture at least 35 and deploy at least 20 Greenies
The Green Escape– Capture at least 250 physical type munzees.

Completing Operations will give you some hard earned rewards as well.

Announcing Mystery Munzee Capture and Deploy Badges!

The game is afoot! We’re excited to announce new badges for capturing and deploying Mystery and Mini Mystery Munzees.

Continuing the Deploy line started with the Watson and Holmes badges, you can now earn two new badges featuring some of Sherlock’s more colorful characters.

We have also released an all new line of badges for capturing Mystery and Mini Mystery Munzees. A detective must use all of his tools to his advantage if he hopes to solve the Mystery!

These badges won’t be easy to come by, but they are retroactive, so any of your past mystery solving will count toward these. The badges are now live and available to earn.

In celebration of those masterful mysteries, for a limited time you can purchase 5 Mini Mystery Munzees for $5 (regularly $7.50) in the Munzee Online Store. The sale will run until Sunday at 15:00 MHQ time so don’t tarry too long! Check them out HERE!

ZeeOps: February 2018 Missions

Agents, more and more Zodiac symbols are showing up across the world. Although the motive matches the Zodiac Vigilante, something seems different about these. The secret organization The Rising Sons are also looking for the Zodiac Vigilante, which makes finding him even more important.

Although the masked man is prophesied to be the group’s leader he has shirked his destiny- something the Sons are none too pleased about. It’s imperative we reach the Vigilante before they do. By capturing and deploying Zodiac Munzees we are confident that we can study his deployment patterns and can triangulate his location.

February 2018 ZeeOps Operations are now live and you can begin planning your Missions to start on the following day. You can plan your Operations at munzee.com/ops/ and purchase more ZeeCred in the Munzee Online Store. 

Since the focus of this month’s Operations is so celestial you’ll want to stock up on Zodiac stickers and credits.

By completing any Operation this month you’ll earn the “Operation: Star Seeker” badge.

Munzee Version 3.4.1!

Exciting start to the day! Munzee version 3.4.1 has been pushed to the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store this morning.

This update includes:

iOS:
– Updated scanner
– Updated translations
– Fixed a problem on iOS that caused a white bar on map screen when there was no nearby activity.

Android:
– Updated scanner
– Updated translations

Per usual, there may be a delay in propagation to your area, so please be patient if you don’t see the update just yet.

2017 In Review and Looking Forward to 2018

2017 was a great year. We tried to encompass our theme of “Everyone. Everywhere.” into all that we did. There were learning experiences along the way, but the community consistently pushed us to provide the best game and experiences we could. For that, we thank you tremendously. Below, we have some “year-in-review” stats and messages from the team followed by more information about our 2018 theme.

Munzee Events from Louise

Wow, what a year 2017 has been for Munzee Events. To everyone everywhere, thank you all for keeping me so busy!

We’ve had some fantastic events this year from the Tea Parties to our 6th Birthday celebrations, the MunzFit Events to the Christmas Parties that are just wrapping up now. 525 events to be precise, most hosted by you, our wonderful players, and some hosted by us at MHQ. We were delighted to welcome so many of you to our new office in McKinney back in September and had our first events with the whole MHQ  team.

We have greatly enjoyed coming to your events all over the world too, thank you for inviting us and being such wonderful hosts. Personally, my absolute highlight was celebrating my birthday with over 100 Munzee players at the Australia Day events back in January!

We’ve introduced new exciting merchandise exclusive to events and created Emerald Gardens all over the world. We also hit new record attendance levels with the events in Germany this summer, absolutely brilliant stuff!

I look forward to meeting more of you virtually as I work with you to create your Munzee Events and can’t wait to meet even more of you out and about at your amazing events.

There are quite a few things that could be said about 2017. We went through a lot of changes in efforts to do what we thought was best for the game and company. The community was always at the forefront when we made decisions, and “Everyone. Everywhere.” wasn’t just a theme but a way of thinking.  Check out some of the stats from this year:

As we mentioned in the podcast, our theme for 2018 is “The Time is Now.” Over the years, there has been projects and ideas that we haven’t had the time or resources to implement. With the staff and resources we have after merging with Freeze Tag, we can finally put these ideas into action. These range from gameplay changes to a new app and work on them will begin immediately. While you may not see them immediately, be sure that we are working to make the game and app better than ever.

Once again, thank you for everything you have done to help grow the game and support other member’s of the community.

ZeeOps: January 2018 Missions

Agents, despite Director Zee’s protests, ZeeOps scientists have continued experimenting on Evolution Munzees. The Director doesn’t want anymore surprises, so he has assigned ZeeOps Agents to handle the capture and release of both physical and virtual Evolution test subjects.

As a part of this month’s Operations, all Evolution Munzees will be reset to their beginning stages if they’ve already reached their last stage. This will not allow other players to re-cap these munzees again, but the earlier stages will be available to players who have not capped that particular stage.

With the First Clan and The Rising Sons preparing for war, you’ll need to stay sharp. To keep up your skills, this month will also feature the Mystery Mastery Program. You’ll need to capture and deploy Mystery Munzees of all shapes and sizes to prove you have mastered the Mystery.

January 2018 ZeeOps Operations are now live and you can begin planning your Missions to start on the following day. You can plan your Operations at munzee.com/ops/ and purchase more ZeeCred in the Munzee Online Store. You can also track your Missions in the new Munzee app update.

By completing any Operation this month you’ll earn the “Operation: Evolution” badge.

This month’s Missions are as follows:

LEVEL 1:

Basic Training + – Earn at least 1,000 points.
Defensive Training– Deploy at least 10 munzees.
Offensive Training– Capture at least 25 munzees.
Mystery Mastery Program I– Capture at least 10 Mystery Munzees.*

ZeeOps- Operation: No Vacancy

Agents, ZeeOps HQ’s system has been hacked and all of our files on past missions have been erased! You’ll have to recreate past Operations in what we’re calling LegaZeeOps. It’s up to you to keep the legacy of this organization in tact. By completing any Operation this month you’ll earn the “Operation: No Vacancy” badge.

Following your victories last month the Mean Green Gang has gone on the run. It’s up to you to find where they’re hiding by searching Munzee Destinations worldwide. Look for undercover Mean Green Gang members by capturing and deploying Hotel, Motel, Resort and Timeshare Munzees. Simply searching various Destinations won’t be enough to find the hidden Mean Green Gang members though. Prove the area is secured by renting rooms in Destination Munzees of any type. Remember that there are a limited number of rooms in each Destination Munzee, so you’ll need to be quick to capture when a new one is deployed near you.

ZeeOps HQ was able to salvage archived footage from last May’s Operations.

The Mean Green Gang is using Top Secret Fire and Ice technology to wreak havoc across the world and it’s up to you to stop them. Certain Missions this month will require you to capture and deploy Fire and Ice Mystery Munzees. Your success in stopping the Mean Green Gang’s continued attacks has caught the eye of a mysterious group known only as R.U.M. This group of authorized resellers will outfit you with everything you need, but it’s up to you to prove you’re worthy.

This month’s ZeeOps Operations are now live and you can begin planning your Missions to start on the following day. You can plan your Operations at munzee.com/ops/ and purchase more ZeeCred in the Munzee Online Store.

This month’s Missions are as follows:

LEVEL 1:

Hazardous Materials Training- Capture at least 1 Fire or Ice Mystery Munzee. NOTE that burning or frozen munzees will not count.

LEVEL 2:
Group Training- Earn at least 500 cap-on points.
Arms Dealer Operations- Capture at least 5 RUMs of any type.
Frostbitten Flames- Capture at least 10 Fire and/or Ice Mystery Munzees. NOTE that burning or frozen munzees will not count.
Chill Out- Deploy at least 5 Ice Mystery Munzees. NOTE that scattered frozen munzees will not count. 
Virtual Surreality- Capture at least 100 virtual munzees of any type.

LEVEL 3:
Advanced Training- Earn at least 10,000 points.
Hot And Cold- Capture at least 20 Fire and/or Ice Mystery Munzees. NOTE that burning or frozen munzees will not count.
From The Outside In- Deploy at least 50 greenies.
Shady Dealings- Capture at least one RUM from 5 different Resellers.
Virtual Virus- Capture at least 500 virtual munzees of any type.

LEVEL 4:
Expert Training- Earn at least 50,000 points.
Reseller Redemption- Deploy at least 10 RUMs of any type.
A Unified Front- Capture at least 200 physical type munzees.
Fight Fire With Fire- Deploy at least 5 Fire Mystery Munzees and 5 Ice Mystery Munzees. NOTE that burning or frozen munzees will not count.
Watch The World Burn- Capture at least 10 Fire Mystery Munzees and at least 10 Ice Mystery Munzees. NOTE that burning or frozen munzees will not count.

Completing Operations will give you some hard earned rewards as well.
