🪓🤖 Dad Joke-Inspired Mech + Greeting Cards! 📬🤣

Deep in the the enchanted groves, a new band of mechz is chopping their way onto the scene—the Dads of Sirwood Forest! These Middle-Aged Mechanical Medieval Fathers may crack dad jokes as sharp as their blades, but don’t be fooled—their courage (and questionable hobbies) make them a force to be reckoned with.

We’ve also added a few new dad joke-themed Greeting Cards to the store! Swap deploys with friends or deploy at upcoming events — read on to learn more!

NEW Mech Details

To kick off this new line of Mechz we have Sir CutTree, the axe-wielding computer whiz who quite literally puts the hack in hacking. Armed with his Slash Drive and a love for log-arithms, this circuitry-savvy dad proves that when it comes to battle, sometimes the nerdiest knight swings the sharpest strike. 🌊🤿 Secret ZeeOps – Under the ZEE (August 2025)

Can you help defend the lost kingdom of Atlantis from pirates?! An ALL NEW Secret ZeeOps is now available in the ZeeOps Hub for the usual cost of 1,500 Zeds until 23:59 MHQ on September 30th. Remember, if you’ve purchased a Secret ZeeOp, you can complete it and collect rewards even after it is no longer available for purchase.

Agents, it appears a return to the Bermuda Triangle is necessary — multiple sources point to it marking the location of Atlantis deep in the waters below. Your mission is to investigate the ruins and bring back any intel on its collapse, and also keep an eye out for any ancient technologies that may have applications in present day. Stealth is key so as not to attract any unwanted attention.

Completing a series of missions will unlock new levels in this operation. There are three levels, each with five missions. If you conquer every mission in Operation: Under the ZEE, you’ll earn a cool new badge, the NEW HYDR0 Guardian (info below), and more exciting rewards listed in the app!

NEW Mech Details

Like the other Munzee Mechz, HYDR0 Guardian is a temporary POB that will remain on the map until it has been captured 15 times.

Continuing where we left off from last year’s event, for National Disc Golf Day, we’re caddying with Robbie and fetching those discs from the water! Will you be able to collect them all and earn a special badge for this event?!

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Tuesday, August 5th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, August 10th at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Disc Golf Basket, up to 3 different Discs may be scattered nearby!

As with other Flat Scatters, the Discs will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers / Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! Your Clan can earn monthly badges by reaching certain levels in Clan Wars. But remember, you only get a badge (and rewards) if the whole clan reaches that level. In August, there are six badges up for grabs. Here’s a sneak peak at the Level 6 badge:

*The Itty Bitty Kitty tPOB will be available to claim as a special trade in the Premium section of the redeem store beginning August 3rd. Cost will be 0 zeds (that’s right, ZERO zeds). The Itty Bitty Kitty will be auto-deployed on your account when redeemed.

🍔 Feeling Peckish? This Flat Scatter Event will Hit the Spot! 🚴‍♀️

This year, the 4th Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift starts in Brittany, France, and finishes in the Alps. There are now 9 stages — a clear sign that the race is growing! Of note, Stage 7 will see Lou revisiting Chambéry where she spent a year at university!

To celebrate this special time, we of course had to bring back the Flat Lou scatters! Will Deliver-Lou make another appearance? Read on to find out!

From the period of Saturday, July 26th at 00:00 MHQ through Sunday, August 3rd at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Lou, up to 3 Grapes, Wedges of Cheese, or Baguettes may be scattered nearby! Similarly, when you capture Fancy Flat Lou, up to 3 Champagne Bottles may be scattered nearby!

The month-long competition has been like the world’s longest birthday song… and as we head into the final week, it’s about time for some cake! For July, the theme was “Birthday Bash” — looking at all of the cheerful and colorful designs you’ve created to celebrate our birthday was truly a gift!

August’s theme will revolve around the world of sport. MVPs are often found at the highest levels of sporting competitions. We’d like to see how our MVP Garden Builders translate this into Gardens around the world!

September’s theme will focus on popular fall foods! Think pumpkin spice-flavored everything, delicious baked goods or for the adventurous — a local dish you’d like to introduce us to! We’re sure you’ll make our mouths water!

👻 October 2025 GOTM Theme – “Haunted Haunts“

October’s theme will focus on the classically spooky! Think ghosts, skeletons, pumpkins, and horror icons! We dare to be scared — but make sure your designs are still family-friendly for the younger players!

🌐 November 2025 GOTM Theme – “World of Wonders“

November’s theme will focus on everything Around ZEE World! Think famous landmarks, different cultures, or global travel! Munzee is a worldwide adventure after all, so we’d love to see more gardens showing that off!

🎄 December 2025 GOTM Theme – “Festive Foliage“

December’s theme will focus on all that is merry and bright! Think holiday trees, ornaments, gifts, and other symbols of seasonal celebrations! It’s the most wonderful time of the year, so we can’t wait to see how you light up the map!

🎪 The Traveling Troupe is Taking a NEW Act for a Spin! 🥏

Last week, we announced the exciting return of the Traveling Troupe! While they’ll still be in town until Sunday, August 3rd at 23:59 MHQ, we wanted to share some news that’s sure to thrill — a NEW Performer has just been added to the roster!

This post will highlight all the new things you can expect to see. Otherwise, all other details about the Traveling Troupe remain the same — if you need to refer to them, please check last week’s post.

There are now a total of 11 badges to earn from capping Traveling Troupe specials at this point:

  • The 1st line has 3 badges which are based on the total number of Traveling Troupe specials. You can see the title and description of the first badge in this line below.
  • The 2nd line of badges are based on meeting all the Performers in the set a certain number of times. We’ll show one example below for now, but be on the lookout for more, and remember new performers may appear in the future so get this set of eight while you can!
