Time for Teemant to Expand Our Funfinity Stone Collection!

Even if you’re cooped up inside, don’t let the fire inside you die! Take care of yourself and find creative ways to have fun so you can shine bright like this newest munzee! Joining the Ametust, Topaas, and Oniks, please welcome the Teemant!

Also known as part of the Funfinity Stones, these Player Owned Bouncers (POB) resemble the Jewel Munzees, which they also bounce to! The Teemant is available NOW in the Freeze Tag Online Store. Be sure to shop fast, because these Funfinity Stones will leave the store at 15:00 MHQ on Friday, May 1! Like the other Funfinity Stones, players can purchase a Teemant for $10. No upgrade ability is available. Topaas and Oniks will also be available during this time.

Teemant Details

Teemant joins the current line of Pouch Creatures as a physical munzee that will bounce to Greenie, Earth Mystery, Diamond, and Treehouse Munzees every 6 hours or when capped.

It will have the same point values as the other Funfinity Stones:

  • Deploy: 250
  • Capture: 200 Points
  • CapOn: 250 Points
  • CapOn (Host Owner): 200 points

Teemant will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture Teemant on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same Teemant visits you. It will be attracted to Physical Magnets on all 4 of its landing pads. You can access Teemant under the “Only Expiring Specials” and “Only Pouch Creatures” filters.

New Badge!

Deploying a Teemant will earn you the following badge:

Teemant Funfinity Stone- Deploy Teemant Pouch Creature Munzee.

Additionally, any Teemant captures will help you progress in both the Unique Funfinity Stone Capture badge line and the Pouch Creature Capture badge line. As a reminder, you can see the first of each of these badge lines below:

MHQ Petting Zoo Animals Have Escaped!

It wouldn’t be spring at MHQ without some cute baby animals, but instead of playing it safe with tried-and-true pastels, we added a more colorful, nostalgic twist! Unfortunately, it seems that someone at MHQ (*cough* Flat Rob *cough*) didn’t check if the pens were secure, so now the animals have run amok! Starting at 11:11 MHQ on April 9th, Baby Animal specials will begin bouncing around the map until 23:59 MHQ on April 30th.

Baby Animals Details

Players of our sister app, WallaBee, may recognize the art for these adorable bouncers! We chose these 5 animals based on 3 factors: cuteness, cuddliness, and charisma. We hope they can provide a little virtual snuggle for those of you who really need it during this unprecedented time. Can you collect them all?

500 of these specials (100 of each) will bounce to all all colors of Virtual Munzees, Electric Mysteries, Surprises, Onyxes, and Citrines every 1 hour or when captured. Each animal will be worth 150 points for Capture and 50 points for CapOn, so you don’t want to miss out!

These colorful cuties will be attracted to Virtual Magnets! However, they will not be blastable. To access these specials, please turn on your “All Expiring Specials” and “All Limited Edition Specials” filters.

Badges

Additionally, there will be five badges to earn based on the number of Baby Animals specials you capture. But just how many captures it takes to earn all 5 badges will be kept a secret! However, we will reveal the first badge in the line, which appears as follows:

Sweet Stickers- Capture 1 Baby Animal Special of any type.

Elekter Joins Munzee as the Newest Pouch Creature!

The increase in positively-charged munzees seems to have drawn out a charismatic — dare we say, electric — new addition to the Munzee universe. Please welcome our latest Player Owned Bouncer (POB) to the game, as Elekter prepares to join the ranks of Magnetus, Puffle, and other Pouch Creatures!

You can shop Elekter HERE and the Pouch Creature collection HERE, but be sure to purchase before the sale expires!

Pouch Creatures are bouncing munzees based on items from our sister app, WallaBee. Like the Puffle, Elekter is a virtual-only Pouch Creature. It bounces to Virtual Munzees of all colors as well as Electric Mystery Munzees. Our newest Pouch Creature will cost $20 from the Freeze Tag Online Store. It will go live for sale today (March 25th) at 10:00 MHQ time! Elekter will be for sale until 10:00 April 1st, along with a number of our previous Pouch Creatures!

Like Tuli, Vesi, and Muru, Elekter is an evolving Pouch Creature that will change icons depending on the number of captures in a daily streak. After a specified number of total captures, the Pouch Creatures will “level up” when daily streaks are attained.

The timeframe is as follows:

  • Level 1: 0 or 1 day of Capture (Day 2 new level)
  • Level 2: 2 days of Capture in a row (Day 3 new level)
  • Level 3: 3 or more days of Capture in a row

When the streak is broken, the Pouch Creature will revert to Level 1.

Elekter Details

Elekter joins the current line of Pouch Creatures as a virtual munzee that will bounce to Virtuals and Electric Mystery Munzees every 6 hours or when capped. Deploying an Elekter will earn you 250 points. The Capture and CapOn points will vary per level as follows:

  • Elekter (Level 1)
    • Capture: 200 points
    • CapOn: 100 Points
    • CapOn (Host Owner): 50 points
  • Elekjoud (Level 2)
    • Capture: 300 points
    • CapOn: 200 Points
    • CapOn (Host Owner): 50 points
  • Elektrivool (Level 3)
    • Capture: 500 points
    • CapOn: 300 points
    • CapOn (Host Owner): 50 points

When the Bouncer Upgrade credit is used, your Elekter will also have the ability to be “nudged” to a new munzee. You can use the nudge feature up to three times a day (MHQ 24-hour day), but only after your munzee has sat for at least 3 hours. Additionally, the Bouncer Upgrade will also allow you to rename your Elekter! The name will still retain the unique number, but feel free to get creative and customize your Pouch Creature’s moniker. Please keep in mind our player code of conduct, and be mindful of maintaining a family friendly environment!

Elekter will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture Elekter on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same Elekter visits you. Elekter will be non-blastable. The capture radius is 500 ft (152.4 m). It will be attracted to Virtual Magnets ONLY as Elekter (Level 1). You can access Elekter under the “Only Expiring Specials” and “Only Pouch Creatures” filters.

There will be a number of badges to enjoy along with Elekter, including the following Deploy badge:

The Ametust, Topaas, and Oniks are Ready to Rock Your World As the Latest Pouch Creatures!

UPDATE: Funfinity Stone capture badges are now live! 

Please give a warm welcome to the first new Pouch Creatures released this year, Ametust, Topaas, and Oniks!

Also known as part of the Funfinity Stones, these Player Owned Bouncers (POB) resemble the Jewel Munzees, which they also bounce to! These three stones are available NOW in the Freeze Tag Online Store. Be sure to shop fast, because these Funfinity Stones will leave the store at 10:00 MHQ on Monday, March 2! Players can purchase one of each of the Funfinity Stone types for $10 each. No upgrade ability is available.

These precious pals bounce every 6 hours or when captured.

All three of these new Pouch Creatures will have the same point values:

You can find Ametust, Topaas, and Oniks by turning on your Only Expiring Specials and Only Pouch Creatures filters. These new Pouch Creatures WILL be attracted to physical magnets AND virtual magnets — remember that Jewel Munzees are now magnetizable as well. So this means that the physical Topaz munzee and the virtual Amethyst and Onyx munzees can also be magnetized to pull these stones!

Don’t forget to pick up magnets at the Freeze Tag Online Store and magnetize a greenie, virtual, Jewel, or Treehouse of your choosing to attract up to 3 Specials, Myths, or Pouch Creatures for up to an hour!

For deploying a Funfinity Stone Pouch Creature Munzee, you will earn the respective deploy badge:

UPDATE: There is also a line of ten badges for capturing unique Funfinity stones! Unlike other Pouch Creature badge lines these will be earned for ALL unique Funfinity captures, no matter the type. Each badge features a different Funfinity Stone so some may be a bit of a sneak peek of what’s to come! The latter badges will be pretty difficult to earn so be sure to capture Funfinity Stones whenever you see them!

Below you’ll find the requirements for the first two capture badges, which feature Topaas and the Null image. You’ll have to cap more to see which sun-shiny stone comes next!

Magnetus Joins Munzee As the Latest Pouch Creature!

This pet with an unusual proboscis may be a pest to Santa and his elves, but only due to the sheer numbers! The magnetic force emanating from the Magnetus’s bill is so strong that they are often found stuck on the most inconvenient metal surfaces, i.e. the communal fridge, various power tools, and especially Santa’s sleigh — sometimes the reindeer aren’t able to take off due to the weight of all the attached Magnetus! To help reduce Magnetus numbers in the North Pole, the latest Pouch Creature is on sale NOW and through the weekend in the Freeze Tag Online Store!

That’s right, that means you won’t have to set your timers for odd hours in order to guarantee a Magnetus purchase! You can pick up your Magnetus Pouch Creature for $15. Magnetus will be joining the ranks of Mitmegu, Tuli, Vesi, Muru, and Hadavale as the latest Munzee Pouch Creature. Pouch Creatures are based on items from our sister app, WallaBee, and represent a new era of munzees to enjoy! Magnetus

Like the Pimedus we introduced earlier in the year, the Magnetus will operate similarly to a Prize Wheel, randomly offering different prizes for cappers and owners! You can earn points, magnets, maybe even the high point earning Virtual Deploy Booster Credit?!?! That means you never know what prize you’ll be getting! Unlike the Pimedus, the Magnetus is a benign being. It will always reward you with points, but the amount will be reduced if you receive an additional prize!

Puffle Joins Munzee As the Latest Pouch Creature!

Have you checked the weather forecast for the day? It’s pretty remarkable, because even though Munzee is played all around the world, the weather happens to be exactly the same for everyone… cloudy with a chance of Puffle! Please welcome our latest Pouch Creature to the game, as Puffle prepares to join the ranks of Mitmegu, Vesi, Hadavale, and more!

Pouch Creatures are bouncing munzees based on items from our sister app, WallaBee. Puffle is the first virtual-only Pouch Creature and much like the Pegasus Mythological Munzee it bounces to Virtual Munzees of all colors as well as Air Mystery Munzees. Our newest Pouch Creature will cost $20 from the Freeze Tag Online Store. It will go live for sale tomorrow (October 30th) at 10:00 MHQ time! Puffle will be for sale for 48-hours only, along with a number of our previous Pouch Creatures! Once the sale goes live tomorrow you can shop Puffle HERE and the Pouch Creature collection HERE, but be sure to purchase before the sale expires!

Like Tuli, Vesi, and Muru, Puffle is an evolving Pouch Creature that will change icons depending on the number of captures in a daily streak. After a specified number of total captures, the Pouch Creatures will “level up” when daily streaks are attained. As part of the Puffle’s launch, we have adjusted the streak requirements for all evolving Pouch Creatures. Starting at 10:00 MHQ time on 10/30 all Pouch Creatures that level up, including Puffle, will now evolve faster. In order to reach Level 2, you will still need a 25 cap initial requirement.

The new timeframe is as follows:

  • Level 1: 0 or 1 day of Capture (Day 2 new level)
  • Level 2: 2 days of Capture in a row (Day 3 new level)
  • Level 3: 3 or more days of Capture in a row

Introducing the Latest Pouch Creature…

UPDATE: Pimedus and the Pouch Creature Collection are now LIVE! You can also pick up Bouncer Upgrades and a Pimedus Personal Tag!

Remember Hadavale, the friendly white ghost TOB who offered a sizable BOOST in points? Well, there is another ghost in town, and this POB goes by the name Pimedus! Pimedus might not appear as friendly at first glance, but the latest Pouch Creature will be going on sale today at 15:00 MHQ time for 24-hours in the Freeze Tag Online Store!

That’s right, an entire day in the store means you won’t have to set your timers for odd hours in order to guarantee a Pimedus purchase! You can pick up your Pimedus Pouch Creature (link not active until 15:00 MHQ) for $15. Pimedus will be joining the ranks of Mitmegu, Tuli, Vesi, Muru, and Hadavale as the latest Munzee Pouch Creature. Pouch Creatures are based on items from our sister app, WallaBee, and represent a new era of munzees to enjoy!

Pimedus

Not to be outshone by her white ghost mate, the black ghost will have her own set of unique special features. Pimedus will operate similar to a Prize Wheel, randomly offering different prizes for cappers! You can earn points, Zeds, maybe even the ALL NEW Physical Capture Booster Credit! That means you never know what prize you’ll be getting! Don’t let Pimedus fool you— she is far more generous than she might appear! HOWEVER, there is a very small chance that Pimedus might be feeling greedy, in which case she could steal some of your points. The chance of this is very slim, but if she does steal points she will give you a larger than usual amount of PinPoints! It looks like you’ll have to capture her at your own caution!

  • Deploy: 250 points
  • Capture: Will vary from 10 possibilities including the following options:
    • 200 points
    • 80 points and one 2x Physical Capture Booster Credit
    • LOSE 100 points BUT EARN 50 Zeds
    • Additional rewards that could rotate monthly (usually about 10 total)

While the capper of Pimedus will receive one of the listed prize options, each Pimedus owner will ALSO have the chance to earn a random prize for each CapOn! As always, the black ghost will be feeling temperamental, so you never know what you’ll receive! (Cut her some slack, she’s going through a moody phase!) The prize options at launch for CapOn will appear as follows:

  • 100 points
  • LOSE 100 points BUT EARN 50 Zeds
  • 100 points and 1 PinPoint
  • 10 points and 10 PinPoints
  • 50 points and 5 PinPoints
  • Additional rewards that could rotate monthly (usually 5-10 total)

When the Bouncer Upgrade credit is used, your Pimedus will also have the ability to be “nudged” to a new munzee. You can use the nudge feature up to three times a day (MHQ 24-hour day), but only after your munzee has sat for at least 3 hours. Additionally, the Bouncer Upgrade will also allow you to rename your Pimedus! The name will still retain the unique number, but feel free to get creative and customize your Pouch Creature’s moniker. Please keep in mind our player code of conduct, and be mindful of maintaining a family friendly environment!

Pimedus will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture Pimedus on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same Pimedus visits you. However, Pimedus will be non-blastable. This Pouch Creature will be attracted exclusively to Physical Magnets on Greenies. (That means Virtual Magnets aren’t going to help you in this situation!) You can access Pimedus under the “Only Expiring Specials” and “Only Pouch Creatures” filters.

2x Physical Capture Booster Credit

As stated above, Pimedus will also give you the opportunity to earn 2x Physical Capture Booster Credits. Much like when you capture a Hadavale and earn a Physical Deploy Booster, if you earn a Physical Capture Booster from a Pimedus you’ll be able to use it at your own convenience from your inventory tab in app. Although Hadavale awards a Booster every time it’s capped, since there will be many more Pimedus floating around there’s a slimmer chance at earning a Physical Capture Booster. A new over-the-air update has been pushed, so now you’ll be also able to use multiple Booster types at the same time! Just activate both boosters and get to capping and deploying! Or stick with one at a time if you like, it’s all up to you when you activate a booster!

It’s time to act fast, because the Mitmegu Pouch Creatures will not be sticking around the Freeze Tag Online Store for long! Our limited time Mitmegu collection sale starts today at 10:00 MHQ time, and you won’t want to miss the following offers!

Only a limited number of Mitmegu will be available for public sale. Each Mitmegu will cost $15, but you can upgrade it with a Bouncer Upgrade credit for an extra $5. The Bouncer Upgrade credit will equip your Mitmegu with the ability to be “nudged” to a new Munzee. This nudge feature can be used up to three times a day (MHQ 24 hour day) after it has sat for a minimum of three hours so that other players have the opportunity to find it.

Joining Mitmegu for sale are our other Pouch Creatures, Tuli, Vesi, and Muru. The Bouncer Upgrade credit will upgrade all Pouch Creatures and all Myths, so be sure to pick one up in the shop! If you haven’t deployed a Pouch Creature yet, now is your chance! The Bouncer Upgrade will also allow you to rename your Pouch Creature. Introducing Mitmegu Pouch Creature!

Joining the ranks of Tuli, Vesi, Muru, and Hadavale, we’re happy to announce the release of our latest Pouch Creature, Mitmegu!

Also known as the ever-changing Pouch Creature, there will be a limited number of Mitmegu Pouch Creatures on sale in the Freeze Tag Online Store starting at 10:00 MHQ on Wednesday, February 6. Be sure to shop fast, because Mitmegu will not be in the store for long! Mitmegu will cost $15, but it can also be upgraded using a Bouncer Upgrade credit (formerly the Myth Upgrade) which costs an additional $5.

Mitmegu

While Mitmegu will be the fourth player-owned Pouch Creature, it will work a bit differently than Tuli, Vesi and Muru. Mitmegu will change forms depending on what it lands on and capture streaks will not impact the changing critter’s evolution.

 

Mitmegu will land on the following Munzee types:

  • Greenies
  • Shamrock Munzees
  • Scatter Munzees
  • Premium Munzees
  • RPS Munzees

There is a rare opportunity that the Mitmegu will land on an Elemental Mystery and change forms!

  • If Mitmegu lands on a Water Mystery Munzee it turns into Jootmegu
  • If Mitmegu lands on an Earth Mystery Munzee it turns into Rohimegu
  • If Mitmegu lands on a Fire Mystery Munzee it turns into Lokemegu

Mitmegu will retain its number when it changes, and if you upgrade and change its name it will keep that name on all forms. Players can cap Mitmegu on their own munzees as well.

You can find Mitmegu by turning on your Only Expiring Specials and Only Pouch Creatures filters. This new Pouch Creature WILL be attracted to physical magnets, but only as Mitmegu on Greenies. Don’t forget to pick up a magnet at the Freeze Tag Online Store and magnetize a greenie of your choosing to attract up to 3 Specials, Myths, or Pouch Creatures for up to an hour!
