Ukraine Global Grub Joins the Map!

Whether you’re a fan of sweet or savory treats, we have a delicious surprise for you in the form of today’s Global Grub! The Ukraine Global Grub special will be joining the map today at 15:00 MHQ time to offer another sensational dish of food!

We will be deploying 8 Ukraine Global Grub specials at the moment. They will join other virtual Global Grubs, such as France, Australia, and USA, as they bounce to regular virtuals and colored virtuals every 12 hours or when captured.

Sometimes served fried in butter, these delicious dumplings make for a perfect snack or light main course and can easily be made vegetarian. Stuff them with potatoes, cheese, mushrooms, cabbage, and sauerkraut for a savory vegetarian dinner option or stick with sweet cheese and fruity fillings for a satisfying dessert. It all depends on your tastebud preference!

National Tooth Fairy Day Means New Specials!

Do you remember the joy of a loose baby tooth? The wiggle, the wonder, the crisp dollar bill you’d discover under your pillow in the morning. While you might not be celebrating loose teeth these days, we do have a way to get you excited about detached dentures. You’d expect for these specials to be released at tooth-hurty, but the Tooth Fairy Specials will actually be hitting the map at 15:00 MHQ time today for some tooth caps you’ll actually enjoy!

Tooth Fairy Specials

As you’ll soon see from our badge and tags, today is Tooth Fairy Day 2019! That’s right, August 22 marks National Tooth Fairy Day in the United States, a holiday that allows you to connect to your inner kid and recall the fun of this fabled fantasy figure. So what better way to celebrate the whimsy than with specials that will have you grinning from ear to ear?!

The Tooth Fairy Specials will be 3 physical Munzee Owned Bouncers (MOBs) that will bounce to specific munzees. We will be putting a total of 1,600 of these specials on the map, but some teeth are more rare than others! White Tooth specials are the most common, Gold Tooth specials are less common, and Diamond Tooth specials are super rare. All specials will bounce around every 8 hours or when captured and will remain on the map until September 7 at 23:59 MHQ time.

Where do teeth like to shop? At the Gap! But what landing pads are they attracted to? That depends on the special! The White Tooth will be attracted to Greenies, the Gold Tooth will be attracted to Premium Munzees, and the Diamond Tooth will be attracted to physical Jewel Munzees (Diamond, Ruby, Aquamarine, Topaz, and Pink Diamond). The point distribution for capping a Tooth Fairy special will vary based on which special is capped.

Points

  • White Tooth: 1 PinPoint and 50 points to both Capture and Host
  • Gold Tooth: 5 PinPoints and 100 points to both Capture and Host
  • Diamond Tooth: 10 PinPoints and 250 points to both Capture and Host

Alright guys, you know the drill! You can access our latest specials by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” and “All Limited Edition Specials” filters. Additionally, you can Magnetize Greenies to get White Tooth specials, but Gold and Diamond Tooth specials won’t be attracted to Magnets, so keep your eyes peeled for them!

UPDATE: If you are the owner of the munzee and you capture it, unfortunately, you will only get the capture rewards, not both. Sorry for the inconvenience.

While we can’t offer you a plaque, we do have badges you can earn instead! There will be a total of 4 new badges to earn for capturing the Tooth Fairy Specials. While we aren’t going to reveal all of the badges just yet, we will give you a sneak peek of what you can earn. The first badge in the series will appear as follows:

Introducing NEW Flat Friends Badges! (Plus Sale!)

With two of our Flat Friends planning to tie the knot, it seems like the perfect time to add some more excitement to the world of our flat game companions. That’s why we’re happy to announce our brand new line of Overall Flat Friends Capture and Deploy badges that are available as of 10:00 MHQ time today!

Badge Line Details

Our brand new line of overall capture and deploy badges will be for ANY type of Flat Friend Munzee, including the Fancy Flat Friend Variants. That means Flat Rob, Flat Matt, Flat Lou, and Flat Hammock PLUS Beach Flat Rob, Tux Flat Rob, Cold Flat Rob, Matt’er Up Flat Matt, Footy Flat Matt, and Face-Off Flat Matt all count for our Overall Flat Friends badges!

These badges will be retroactive, so all of your hard-earned Flat Friends captures and deploys will count towards earning some new achievements! There will be a Null for each line, with only the next available badge made visible.

The badges will start being awarded as of the publication of this blog, so you might just see some new badges today!

AccesorZees and Sweet Ridez!

The Overall Flat Friends badges will be awarded for both captures and deploys. The capture line features different “AccesorZees” for our Flat Friends, like Flat Rob’s hat, Flat Matt’s lasso and more! The deploy badge line features “Sweet Ridez” AKA different modes of transportation like Flat Rob’s Munzee Mobile and Flat Lou’s Bike!

There are currently 8 badges that you can earn per category, with 2 badges per each Flat Friend per category. That means each Flat Friend has 2 capture and 2 deploy badges to earn based on number of deploys or captures, for a total of 16 brand new badges! Please note that although these badge designs are attributed to specific characters, you can earn the badges by capturing and deploying ANY Flat Friend.

While we’re not about to reveal everything, we will provide a sneak peak of the first badge for both the capture and deploy lines. As you can tell by the requirements, you’re going to have to be quite the Flat Friends master to pick up all of these badges, because the numbers get high! Think you have what it takes?! We recently announced that the Global Grub overall capture badges are here to allow you to earn more badges than ever for your Global Grub captures! And today we have a real treat for those who enjoy eating meat, because the Pakistan Global Grub will be joining the map at 15:00 MHQ time!

Eight Pakistan Global Grub specials will be deployed today, joining Global Grub physical specials including Italy, Korea, Greece, and more! They will bounce to Greenies every 12 hours or when captured.

Ready for a protein packed feast? If you haven’t tried chicken tandoori yet, then you’re really missing out! This dish involves finely marinated chicken that is covered in yogurt and spices and roasted to tender perfection in a tandoor over. You can often recognize this dish by the vibrant hue of the meat, which is due to the chili power and turmeric used in the marinating process. This savory dish will fall apart in your mouth for a delicious dining experience!

Introducing the All NEW Nymph Mythological Munzee!

Did you notice something slinking through the forest? It might be our all new Nymph Mythological Munzee, which will be available for sale tomorrow at 10:00 MHQ time for 24-hours only!

The Nymph Mythological Munzee will be available for purchase in the Freeze Tag Online Store on August 8 at 10:00 MHQ time. Pick yours up HERE, because they will only be in stock until 10:00 MHQ time on Friday, August 9! Our latest Myth will be spotted bouncing around to Greenies, Earth Mystery Munzees, and 4 shades of Brown Virtuals every 12 hours or when capped.

Each Nymph is numbered and will be owned by a Munzee player. You can pick this Myth up for only $15! Just be sure to set your reminders for 10:00 MHQ time tomorrow to snag one! The sale is open to anyone regardless of other Mythological ownership. Only ONE (1) Nymph Munzee is allowed per account.

Since the Nymph is listed a lower price point than some of the other Myth Munzees, it will not include the ability to “nudge” or be renamed. With the usage of a Bouncer Upgrade Credit, you will be able to give nudge and renaming abilities to your Nymph, as well as the ability to land on shades of Green Virtual Munzees. This new upgrade feature will make the Nymph more likely to be captured, with 9 additional colored virtual landing pads being added. You can find the full list of what the Nymph bounces to below.

The upgrade credit will also give you the ability to “nudge” your Nymph Munzee to a new munzee up to three times a day, following the MHQ 24-hour day, after it has been on its host munzee for at least three hours. This nudging ability is only available for the owner via the munzee’s webpage and is not available in the app.

Your munzee will still retain its unique number, but feel free to get creative when it comes to renaming your Nymph Munzee! Just be sure to follow the Player Code of Conduct, and remember Munzee maintains a family-friendly environment.

Global Grub Overall Capture Badges Are HERE!

Can you believe 2019 is over halfway through, and we’ve already released over half of our Global Grub specials?! Over the past 7 months the Global Grub specials for Switzerland, Australia, China, France, Greece, Japan, Thailand, Mexico, Korea, Sweden, Italy, and the USA have joined the map. While there are still plenty of new specials to look forward to, we’re happy to announce the release of our overall capture line today at 15:00 MHQ time!

These brand new badges can be earned for capturing Global Grub Munzees of ANY type. This retroactive line of badges will also include any new Global Grub Munzees released throughout the the rest of the year.

Prepare to Feast with Sweden Global Grub!

Today we will be bringing you another tasty Global Grub addition in order to celebrate Constitution Day in Sweden! Sweden celebrates its National Day on June 6 in order to honor the day Gustav Vasa was crowned king, way back in 1523, which laid the foundation for Sweden’s independence, while in 1809 a new constitution was adopted for Sweden on the very same date. So it’s time to fill your plates for Sweden, because the Sweden Global Grub will be joining the map today at 15:00 MHQ time!

To mark the date, we will be deploying SIX virtual Sweden Global Grub Munzees. The Sweden Global Grub specials will bounce to regular virtuals and colored virtuals every 12 hours or when captured. This special will join a number of already released Global Grubs, including Mexico, China, and Thailand.

LegaZeeOps- Operation: Pre:Evolution (June 2019)

Agents, ZeeOps HQ’s system has been hacked and all of our files on past missions have been erased! You’ll have to recreate past Operations in what we’re calling LegaZeeOps. It’s up to you to keep the legacy of this organization in tact. The missions for this month are the same that were originally available in June 2017’s Operations.

Agents, your hard work in May has paid off and the final factions of the Mean Green Gang have been dismantled. Although we’re always on the lookout for another uprising, it seems the reign of the Mean Green Gang has ended. The enemy has fallen, but your work is not done. 

ZeeOps Scientists have started developing an evolutionary strain of munzees. These Evolution Munzees, also known as Evos, come in many forms. We’re still in the testing phase, but we need our agents to see how these Evos react in the real world. It is up to you to capture and deploy a variety of these Evos for the sake of science. 

June 2019 ZeeOps Operations are now live and you can begin planning your Missions to start on the following day. You can plan your Operations at munzee.com/ops/ and purchase more ZeeCred in the Freeze Tag Online Store. Remember that if you hit a snag at any point in your Operation you can use the Mission Mulligan feature to keep going!

Since this month’s requirements are focused on Evolution Munzees, you may want to stock up in the Freeze Tag store! You can also pick up Evos in a monthly MunzPak subscription!

By completing any Operation this month you’ll earn the new “LegaZeeOps- Operation: Pre:Evolution” badge.

This month’s Missions are as follows:

LEVEL 1:
Basic Training + – Earn at least 1,000 points.
Defensive Training- Deploy at least 10 munzees.
Offensive Training- Capture at least 25 munzees.
Evolutionary Studies I- Deploy at least 5 physical or virtual Evolution Munzees.
Evolutionary Studies II- Capture at least 10 physical or virtual Evolution Munzees.

LEVEL 2:
Group Training + – Earn at least 1,000 cap-on points.
Evolution Examination – Capture at least 5 different types of physical or virtual Evolution Munzees. NOTE capturing different levels of the same type of Evo will not count toward this mission.
Field Test Studies – Capture at least 25 physical or virtual Evolution Munzees.
Developmental Deploys – Deploy at least 10 Evolution Munzees.
Virtual Surreality- Capture at least 100 virtual munzees of any type.

LEVEL 3:
Advanced Training- Earn at least 10,000 points.
Always Aware- Deploy at least 50 physical munzees of any type.
Interrogation Practices- Capture at least 100 greenies.
Virtual Virus- Capture at least 500 virtual munzees of any type.
A Missing Link- Capture at least 25 physical or virtual Evolution Munzees AND deploy at least 10 physical or virtual Evolution Munzees.

LEVEL 4:
Expert Training- Earn at least 50,000 points.
Laboratory On The Loose!- Capture at least 50 physical or virtual Evolution Munzee.
Evolution Emergency- Deploy at least 25 physical or virtual Evolution Munzees.
Reconnaissance- Deploy at least 100 physical munzees of any type.
Hit The Streets- Capture at least 250 physical type munzees.

Completing Operations will give you some hard earned rewards as well.

Basic Op
Rewards: 1 ruby, 3 virtuals, 3 virtual colors, with 5 ZeeCred

Advanced Op
Rewards: 1 scatter, 2 ruby, 2 virtuals, 1 diamond, 2 virtual colors, with 10 ZeeCred

Mega Op
Rewards: 2 ruby, 2 diamond, 2 virtuals, 2 scatter, 1 sapphire, 2 virtual colors, with 25 ZeeCred

Ultra Op
Rewards: 3 ruby, 2 diamond, 2 sapphire, 4 virtuals, 2 scatter, 4 virtual colors, with 50 ZeeCred
