⚔️ January 2026 Clan Wars Requirements 🛡️

Let’s get ready to have some fun in 2026! Welcome back the Premium tPOB, the Doge Pup! This month Level 3 and above is only for premium members with a deploy of the Doge Pup through the premium tab in the redeem store.

If you are not yet a premium member we hope you will consider supporting the game through a premium membership. This is available via monthly or yearly subscription directly in the app, or a yearly purchase online. If you purchase through the app a 7 day free trial begins, and your status will not be updated until the end of that trial period.

Head over to the Clan section in our app for all the info and rewards. For enhanced gameplay, we STRONGLY recommend you use the CuppaZee app and website to track clan stats and daily gameplay!

New ClanPak for January’s battle will be available HERE in the next few days! Tailored for Clan battles, it includes items to chase scatters, grow Evos, cap Bouncers, and deploy Mechz like never before. Limit 1 per player account per 30 days.

January Badges

Your Clan can earn monthly badges by reaching certain levels in Clan Wars. But remember, you only get a badge (and rewards) if the whole clan reaches that level. In January, there are six badges up for grabs. Here’s a sneak peek at the Level 4 badge:

*The Doge Pup tPOB will be available to claim as a special trade in the Premium section of the redeem store beginning January 3rd. Cost will be 0 zeds (that’s right, ZERO zeds). The Doge Pup will be auto-deployed on your account when redeemed.

🍄 Final MunzShrooms Blog! 🧑‍🍳

As the year comes to a close, we wanted to make sure you were heading into January with your desired MunzShrooms! The skin for completing your December capture streak (and the corresponding badge), which is the Trufflemaker MunzShroom shown below, will be awarded in early January. But, we couldn’t wait to tease what’s in store for next year!

December MunzShroom Reminders

If you haven’t picked up a base MunzShroom yet, they are available in the Freeze Tag Store for $1. But keep in mind they will all expire on Feb 1, 2026, unless you have collected enough to keep a permanent one into the new year! Read on below to find out more!

As a reminder, this is how to have a permanent MunzShroom on your account next year:

  • Own at least 8 MunzShrooms by the end of the year.
    • Each month, the price of a MunzShroom will decrease by $1.
    • However, players can only purchase 1 MunzShroom every 28 days.

Permanent MunzShroom Details

In February 2026, if you meet the requirement to receive a permanent MunzShroom, you’ll see the new MunzShroom in your account, which behaves the same way as the original MunzShroom we released in January 2025. You will have the ability to convert this permanent MunzShroom into any of the skins you have earned in 2025.

NOTE: “February 2026” isn’t a typo — we’ve decided to let MunzShrooms from 2025 stay on the map for 1 extra month, so that players who earned the Trufflemaker MunzShroom skin but didn’t meet the requirement to have a permanent MunzShroom on their account could enjoy their reward for a month.

📍🌏 MaddyBee Memorial BVG 🐝💛

Today, we come together as a community for a reason that is both heartbreaking and deeply important.

We are honoring Matilda, known in Munzee as MaddyBee, a young player who had just begun her Munzee journey alongside her father, BigMonya, about 100 days ago. What started as a fun way to walk, explore, and spend time together quickly became something meaningful. Shared moments, fresh air, and memories made side by side.

Tragically, Matilda was one of the innocent lives lost in the recent and devastating attack at Bondi Beach in Australia. She was only 10 years old and far too young. Her loss has been felt deeply by her family and by all of us who have heard her story.

The Munzee community is built on connection, kindness, and shared experiences, and we want to honor Matilda in a way that reflects those values.

🐝 A Bee Bouncing Virtual Garden for MaddyBee

With her family’s blessing, we are releasing a special MaddyBee Bouncing Virtual Garden in loving memory of Matilda. This BVG exists for one purpose. To memorialize Matilda and to bring the Munzee community together in support of her family. This Bee BVG will bounce for 10 weeks, in honor of Matilda being 10 years old. All proceeds from this Bouncing Virtual Garden will be donated directly to Matilda’s GoFundMe, and Munzee will match the total donation contributed by the community.

To outline, or not to outline — that is the question. There’s no denying that a black outline really helps your garden pop on the map — as this one did when it caught our eye! 🕵️ Secret ZeeOps – Daybreaker (December 2025) ☄️

Can you survive on Cappy’s home planet long enough to make the necessary repairs to the space station? An ALL NEW Secret ZeeOps is now available in the ZeeOps Hub for the usual cost of 1,500 Zeds — and now you can purchase it at any time! Eagle-eyed players may have noticed the update we pushed last month to make ALL Secret ZeeOps available — we hope you enjoy these expanded options!

Agents, this intergalactic adventure will have you scavenging for supplies in unfamiliar terrain, defending yourself and fellow agents from hostile extraterrestrial life forms, and solving a celestial puzzle. Thankfully, you won’t be completely on your own — a knowledgeable astronomer and a familiar horned friend will be your guide to the stars!

Completing a series of missions will unlock new levels in this operation. There are three levels, each with five missions. If you conquer every mission in Operation: Daybreaker, you’ll earn a cool new badge, the NEW GL0W Guardian (info below), and more exciting rewards listed in the app!

Like the other Munzee Mechz, GL0W Guardian is a temporary POB that will remain on the map until it has been captured 15 times.

Landing Pads

This lofty lighthouse illuminates the landing pads listed above every 6 hours or when captured.

This mech will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture this mech on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same mech visits you. This mech is non-blastable. It will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access this mech by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

🔦 Combo Flat Scatter Event for Scary Movie Lovers! 📼

This year for National Flashlight Day, Tamara wanted to immortalize her costume at the Boos & Brews event in badge form! Since Dylan’s Flat Object also perfectly fit the theme, we decided to create a fun combo badge in the same vein as the Pawfect Storm badge!

From NOW through December 21st, the Flat Flashlight and Flat DHS will be scattering their usual flashlights and tapes when captured. Will you be able to collect them all and earn a special badge for this event?!

Limited Time Scatter Details

From the period of Tuesday, December 16th at 12:00 MHQ through Sunday, December 21st at 23:59 MHQ, when you capture a Flat Flashlight, up to 3 different themed Flashlights may be scattered nearby! Similarly, when you capture Flat DHS, up to 3 different Tapes may be scattered nearby!

As with other Flat Scatters, the Flashlights and Tapes will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Flat owner’s account. This means that unlike Feathers / Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes, have a capture radius of 300 feet, and you’ll be able to use Rover Treats to capture them as well! These scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

The rewards for Flashlights and Tapes are as follows:

  • Capture: 50 points
  • CapOn: 25 points

🧁 Munzee Events in 2026! 🎉

We’re shaking things up in 2026 by bringing back some oldie but goodie options! As it has been years since some of these have seen the light of day, you may find that there are some slight differences to what you remember — we’ve needed to update them to work with our current systems. Read on to learn more about what we’ve resurrected!

Monthly Event Packages

We said goodbye to these packages in 2024, but now that everyone’s had some time to breathe, we are delighted to offer them again! After all, many of you are already in the habit of meeting each month, so why not give you the option to upgrade your event?!

Please note, you will need to purchase the $10 Basic Event Package first to get access to your Event Account and all the usual items that go along with it, making the Monthly Event Package an add-on. To sweeten the deal, we’ve included Cake Credits as part of the Monthly Event Package, plus a bunch of other goodies listed below!

Many of you have shared with us your fond memories of the days when Eventzee was part of Munzee Events — hosts really got creative, using Eventzee to set up fun activities that enhanced their events’ themes and gave attendees more to do. Now that Eventzee has truly taken off and the process of setting up an event in the separate app has been streamlined, we’re excited to offer it again as an add-on for $50!
