Jewel Munzee Update!

We’re excited to announce that we’re updating Munzee Jewel types just in time for Clan Wars! Starting at 10:00 MHQ on Monday September 3rd all Munzee Jewels will see a point increase. Don’t forget that we have a variety of jewels for sale in the Freeze Tag Online Store.

Expanded Prize Wheel Badges!

Step on up and try your luck! We’ve added new levels to our line of Prize Wheel Capture Badges!

Admittedly the first line of Prize Wheel badges were maybe a bit TOO easy to beat so we’ve stepped up the requirements for these new ones substantially! These badges continue to show off some of the prizes you might get playing carnival games.

New Prize Wheel badges are now live to earn and they are retroactive. Help out your fellow players and deploy a few Prize Wheels too! We’ve put Prize Wheel 5 packs back on sale for $17.50 (regularly $25). These will be on sale until Monday at 10:00 MHQ time, so don’t waste any time.

“Cy”-ber MunzDay 2017!

It’s that time of year again — Cyber MunzDay is here, and we think this is the best one yet!

Let’s get the details out of the way, first. Our Cyber MunzDay sale will begin at 10:00AM MHQ time on Monday, November 27th and will last until 10:00AM MHQ time on Tuesday, November 28th. The Munzee Online Store will be offline between 08:30 and 09:59 MHQ time on Monday in preparation for the sales as well as from 10:01 through 12:00 MHQ time on Tuesday to make changes.

We’ve got quite a few sales, so let’s get down to it!

The Cyclops

The Cyclops Mythological is the last of the Classical Mythological Munzees. More information about it will be available soon, but 1600 of them will be available for $20 each.

Generic Stickers

A variety of generic sticker sheets will be discounted, including:

Micro Generic Stickers: Block of 35 for $2.50

  • These stickers are the same size that have been included in the October and November MunzPaks. There are a very limited number of these blocks available.

Mini Stickers: Block of 50 for $4.75

Urban Camos: Block of 10 for $1.25

  • This will include the “No Pets”, “No Smoking”, and “CCTV” mini urban camos as well as both “Warranty”, “Property of”, and “Inspection” designs.

Personal Munzees

Elemental Mystery Munzees

Physical Elemental Mystery Munzees (Earth, Fire, Ice, and Water) will be available in sets of 5 for $6.25. These sets are of like kind, e.g. 5 Earth Mystery Munzees for $6.25.

The Air Mystery Munzee will be available for $1.50/each.

Mini Mystery Munzees

Mini Mystery Munzees will be available in packs of 5 for $3.75.

Shamrock Munzees

Shamrock Munzees will be available in packs of 10 for $7.50.

Jewel Munzees

Jewel Munzees (all but Amethyst in sticker form) will be discounted as follows:

  • Amethyst Munzees: $2.50/each
  • Aquamarine Munzees: 5 for $6.25
  • Diamond Munzees: 5 for $17.50

All Destination Munzees will be discounted:

MunzPak Elemental Block

This block from the October Physical MunzPak includes 5 Seasonal Munzees, 3 Fire Mystery Munzees, 2 Water Mystery Munzees, 3 Ice Mystery Munzees, and 2 Earth Mystery Munzees. There are a very limited number of these blocks available, and they will be $12.50.

Physical Evolution Paks

The Physical Evolution Pak includes 5 Barn Evolutions, 5 Tractor Evolutions, 5 Shark Evolutions, 5 Bones Evolutions, 5 Corn Evolutions, and 5 Tomato Evolutions — 30 total munzees. This will be available for $15.

And last but certainly not least, Blast Captures.

Blast Captures will be available for $3.75/each.

Prize Wheel Badges are Here!

Prize Wheel Munzees have always given a bit extra, including ZeeCred more recently, but now, they’ve got another prize for you!

We’re happy to announce a new line of badges for capturing Prize Wheel Munzees!

These badges show off some of the prizes you might get playing carnival games, but like the Jewel Collector badges, you’ll only be able to unlock one at a time. The first badge in the line is “Balloon Darts Beach Ball” badge for capturing 1 Prize Wheel Munzee.

After earning the first badge in the set, the requirements for the next will appear. These badges will start awarding tomorrow, March 9th, at 00:01 MHQ time and WILL be retroactive.

Announcing Jewel Collector Badges!

Collecting jewel munzees has become a staple of the game, but what are you to do with all of those precious stones you’ve captured?

We’re happy to announce that a new line of badges have been released for capturing certain jewel munzees. These badges track captures on non-blastable jewels: Topaz, Aqua, Diamond, Ruby, Pink Diamond and Amethyst.

The design of these badges feature a few ideas of where you might safely keep some of those jewels, but you’ll only be able to unlock one at a time. To start things off, you can earn the “Hidden Hole” badge by capturing 200 non-blastable jewel munzees. It may not seem like much of a security system, but you’ve got to start somewhere, right?

Once you earn the first in the set you’ll unlock the requirements for the next badge. These may not be the easiest badges to earn, but you’ve really got to work for the added security. For those that are able to achieve maximum security, keep your eyes out for a secret Level 4 badge that won’t show up until you earn it.

The Legend of the Pink Diamond

It’s been almost a month since the Dragons unleashed their fury upon the Munzee map. Traversing the globe and igniting fires has led to chaos among the other two Mythological Munzees. They say beauty comes from chaos, though, and we have stumbled upon some of that beauty.

Among the riches that the Dragons were guarding, we found a never before seen gem. This diamond is believe to have been altered by the fire and strength of the Dragons. It gleams a light shade and has become known as the Pink Diamond. While the history of the Pink Diamond isn’t completely known, we do know the point structure of it:

Deploy: 45 points

Capture: Split of 25 points with owner; minimum of 5 points

CapOn: Split of 25 points with capper; minimum of 5 points

(Examples: 20 points for capper, 5 points for owner; 10 points for capper, 15 points for owner)

The rarity of the Pink Diamond is similar to the Topaz Munzee. As such, the Pink Diamond will be a MunzPak exclusive. It will be introduced for the first time in August’s MunzPak.
