Secret ZeeOps – Operation: Good Buoy! (September 2023)

Look out Agents! An ALL NEW Secret ZeeOps is now available in the app ZeeOps Hub for the usual cost of 1,500 Zeds. It is available for purchase NOW until 23:59 MHQ on October 31. If you’ve purchased a Secret ZeeOp, you will be able to complete it and collect rewards even after it is no longer available for purchase.

Agent, the ever-expanding digital world has begun to leak over into our reality! Based on your previous explorations we think you’re the perfect fit to investigate this phenomena. Locate the coordinates of the web leak and venture back into the oceanic sized datascape, but beware any pirates that may have infiltrated either side! Complete a variety of missions to unlock levels to complete the Operation. If you complete ALL the missions in Operation: Good Buoy!, you’ll receive the fantastical badge below, along with the P0LL-E Mech (more info below!) and various other rewards listed in the app!

There are 3 levels. Level 1 has 5 missions, Level 2 has 5 missions, and Level 3 has 5 missions. Each level ends with more prizes.

Complete a variety of missions to unlock levels to complete the Operation. If you complete ALL the missions in Operation: Roll Reversal!, you’ll receive the fantastical badge below, along with the Runed Table Mech (more info below!) and various other rewards listed in the app!

Home, Home on ZEE Range!

Ahhh… the life of the a farmer. Waking up, surveying your crops, and tending to your animals. Sounds great to us! Since we can’t all lead a simple life on the farm, we’re bringing the farm life straight to your phone with our NEW Home on ZEE Range specials! You’ll encounter Flat frogs, and dogs, and squirrels – oh my! This furry special is inspired by our beloved Product Manager, Robbie – who always seems to have an assortment of interesting creatures at his house! Starting NOW, these farm friends will bounce around the map until June 25, 2023 at 23:59 MHQ

Two different Base Farm specials will bounce around the map, 1 physical and 1 virtual, as seen above.

Home on ZEE Range Specials

These finicky farm friends will be released in waves, but will end at a total of 1500 Flat Fields and 1500 Flat Farms. They will bounce around on the map every 3 hours or when captured. Though there will only be one icon shown on the map, at launch there are a possibility of 4 different Flat Farm Animal icons for each (a total of 8 different results) revealed after this special is captured.

Both of the Home On ZEE Range specials will be worth 150 points for the Capture and 50 points for the CapOn, so you don’t want to miss out! Flat Field will be attracted to Physical Magnets, while Flat Farm will be attracted to Virtual Magnets. To access these specials, please turn on your “All Expiring Specials” and “All Limited Edition Specials” filters.

Capturing a Flat Farm or Flat Field will reveal one of the farm inhabitants inside! At launch you can expect to see the Flat Doxy and a couple characters in the badges below, but we’ll keep the rest of the farm friends a secret for now! More types of animals will appear as the month goes on, so make sure to keep an eye out!

Pillow Fight, You Fools! Happening Now!

Did you know that April 1st is International Pillow Fight Day?! No, we’re not joking and you know what we miss most from childhood? PILLOW FIGHTS! So MHQ decided to relive our childhood and celebrate this holiday by trying to fill the map with feather filled FlashMOBs.

Who can forget…going to a sleepover, innocently minding your own business and then WHAM! Getting the absolute snot smacked out of you by a pillow wielded by your friend. Those really were the days. Pillows will be available from Saturday, April 1st at 00:01 MHQ through Sunday, April 2nd at 23:59 MHQ.

So relive the good ol’ days with us by capturing your own pillows to arm yourself with! Read on for everything you need to know!

If you’ve captured all the munzees near you, you’ll be happy to discover that your map has been stuffed with pillows! These work just like last year’s foolish flamingo flocking flashMOB and (nearly) ALL Greenies and Virtual Colors will have the “mask munzees” shown below applied to them.

When you deploy this new game piece nearby it will only be visible to AND cappable by you. IT MUST BE DEPLOYED IN APP! To ensure that you are able to capture this new game piece each day, you’ll also be able to update its location if you’ll be traveling at any point during the mailbox period. You can only move the mailbox in app and do NOT need to undeploy first. We really don’t want you to miss out! It is very important you capture it each day.

The mailbox can be captured up to 1000 feet away and is found under the Virtuals filter but ONLY visible to the OWNER. It will be archived after it is March 18. (Clarification: Mailbox was supposed to archive after 15 days of prizes ON March 18th, with 2 extra bonus days of double points over the weekend for mailbox owners. Apologies for the confusion!)

How the Wonderful Wizard Mailbox Works

Starting March 3rd at 00:01 MHQ, each day you cap your Wonderful Wizard Mailbox you will be awarded a different Wizard of Oz-themed Greeting Card capture, similar to the UBCCC. Please note that you’ll only be able to earn that specific card on that day, so you really don’t want to miss a day. Once you cap that card you’ll earn points, and you may also get some extra prizes!

If you’re interested, you can purchase it in the FT Store! You will still be able to purchase these Club Memberships after it begins, but you won’t be able to earn rewards from the days that have passed. We suggest purchasing your Club Membership as soon as possible to start learning the mysteries of the mailbox!

  • Wonderful Wizard Card Collectors Club is available for $15 and includes the NEW Wonderful Wizard Mailbox, which will deliver 16 Greeting Card munzees for you to capture PLUS a matching Wonderful Wizard Card each day for you to deploy, maybe near a friend? Landing Pads

You can find these scrappy cyborgs barking at the landing pads above every 6 hours or when captured.

T0To will be available for multi-capture. That means players can capture a T0T0 on their own munzees, any previously captured munzees, and more than once if the same T0T0 visits you. T0T0 is non-blastable. It will be attracted to both Physical Magnets and Virtual Magnets. You can access it by turning on your “All Expiring Specials” filter.

When a T0T0 is captured, it will scatter up to 3 Ruby Scripters.

These scatters will be visible to any player and will be deployed on the Mech owner’s account. This means that unlike Air Mystery Feathers/Boulders, there are CapOn points for the owner! They expire after 120 minutes and have a capture radius of 300 feet. These scatters will NOT count for deploy streaks, ZeeOps, or clan activity since they are passive deploys.

  • Wonderful Wizard deploy badge — deploying a Wonderful Wizard Mailbox will earn you a special badge that you can see below.
  • Wonderful Wizard Mailbox Card capture badges — capture at least 1 of each unique Wonderful Wizard Mailbox card! We’ll keep what these look like a secret for now.
  • T0T0 deploy badge — deploying a T0T0 mech will earn you the corresponding Blueprint badge that you can also see below
  • T0T0 capture badge — capturing a T0T0 mech will earn you the corresponding badge. We’ll keep what it looks like a secret for now.
