To access these latest features, you’ll need to make sure you’re on the latest version of Munzee from the App Stores (4.1.246 on both iOS and 4.1.247 Android), then restart the app to pull down the latest over-the-air update version #1213.

🎯 What Does the CapOn Booster Do?

The CapOn Booster is designed for our strategic players who love to plan ahead and make every cap count! When activated, this Booster doubles all CapOn points you earn from other players capturing your Munzees for the next 90 minutes. That’s an hour and a half of boosted CapOn glory! To activate this booster, head to your Profile, tap on Inventory, then tap on Boosters and select the CapOn Booster.

You can find the CapOn Booster in the in-app store for 90 Zeds each — perfect for those who like to maximize rewards while helping others rack up points too.

💡 Pro Tip: Use It Strategically!

This booster shines brightest when you plan it right! Try this combo:

  • Check the Events section of the Munzee app to find an upcoming event, or the Munzee Calendar on the website

  • Deploy a bunch of Greeting Cards near the event area ahead of time (less than 7 days before the start of the event)

  • Activate your CapOn Booster right around the start time of the event — or when you start seeing a flurry of CapOns in your activity feed

That way, while everyone’s busy capturing your deploys, you’ll be racking up double the CapOn points!
